Opening scene is with 3 club bunnies and there are other Several scenes with ow, heroine knows the Zero is a manwhore and she’s desperately chasing him. Heroine has seen the Zero with ow even before. Zero is infamous for banging ow in the bar bathroom and everyone has seen his ass banging away.
Heroine finally manage to have sex with Zero after chasing for so long but he doesn’t want to have an old lady and he has told the heroine several times that it’s just sex.

This was an okay book but it was a little hard to see the connection between Diesel and Jewel. Diesel was just a little too unemotional when it came to Jewel. He had the whole grumpy and silent thing going on, which I love in some heroes, but there didn't seem to be any substance to him other than being a manwhore. In the end I barely believed he even liked Jewel let alone love her.

This one was longer than the other 3 and not as great, as far as the couple IMO.. Thought Diesel's story would have been better. Considering the build up regarding him in the other books. But no. He was more the chick here. Being insanely difficult when it came to accepting what everyone else already knew in regards to his feelings about Jewel... Jewel was just... I have nothing great to say. So I'll leave that alone. I don't dislike her, nor do I like her either.. I have no feelings where she's concerned. They had hot moments, but after awhile even that got boring...
The moving of the ongoing plots and what occurred there is what I enjoyed the most with this book. And is the only reason this book got 3 stars from me.
I will be back for book 5, but taking a quick breather from the DAMC.
Based on books 1-4 I would recommend this series.

I was so excited about this one because I loved the blurb and I had the impression that it was going to be one of those "Hero pushes the heroine until something bad happens and he realizes he's shit and grovels back to her" books which are MY FAVORITE added with the MC lifestyle which I LOVE....You can tell I had high expectations.
Sadly, it fell flat. D was just too nonchalant for Jewel's feelings. Jewel was such a push over and masochist. No grovel. Nothing. And crappy epilogue.
The author made Diesel too much , and stripped Jewel of a lot of her potential. She had the whole "bad ass biker babe who loves her man but also has dignity and class - enough to not make herself a booty call, motto: i love you but i can live without you" aura that could have been portrayed properly but instead we were given "i'm a biker babe and i love you so if you only want sex i'll be your sweet butt until maybe you get your head together and maybe you'll pick me".

I came across Jeanne St. James' motorcycle series by accident, but as soon as I finished the first book in the series I was hooked.
Diesel is not my favorite hero of DAMC (It's a tie between Jag and Zak), he's too stubborn and hard in a way, I guess, most of real-life bikers are. He's a man of few words and grunts are his usual response to basically everything. However, he's also incredibly protective and sweet when it comes to seeing women getting hurt.
I did not expect to like Jewel and was afraid that she would be too clingy and soft as she has been in love with Diesel for years, while he spent most of his time in the women's bathroom ;) , but she did not come out as such. She knew just how to twist Diesel's mind and make him realize what he is missing in his life.
I am definitely looking forward to reading the rest of DAMC series, as well as the spin-off with Diesel's bad ass ex-special op/marine/or whatever they are guys.

I’m not going to lie Diesel is my favorite in the Dirty Angels MC series, and so is his book.
Diesel and Jewelee have known each other all their lives—both born into the MC Club. Jewel is secretly in love with Diesel and can not bear to watch him and his bathroom antics with all his one-night stands. Yes, he takes these women in the bathroom for a rump. Diesel is adamant that he doesn’t want an old lady, which is why he sticks to one-night stands with club whores and strippers. However, Jewel is determined to become his old lady. Diesel fights his desire for Jewel, but eventually realize that Jewel is his. When a rival kidnap Jewel, Diesel sees red and is determined to dish out Dirty Angels justice.
This book was everything. I devoured this book in one setting and I am NOT afraid to say that I have read it five times. Down & Dirty Diesel is so addictive and so is the Dirty Angels MC series. Like the rest of the series, Diesel’s book was quite entertaining.

I've been waiting for this one for a while now and had the privilege of being provided with a beta copy. I must say, JSJ has done a bang-up job creating a loveable beast. Diesel is a brute in every way, and yet you know that his heart is as big as his...umm muscles? Sometimes I found myself getting a little frustrated with Jewel and her behavior, but I also understand that love makes you do nutty things. And boy oh boy does she love her beast. JSJ has once again drawn me into her MC world and made me long for a tattooed sleigh-riding caveman of my own, because you know, even though their English might be atrocious, there isn't anything more important to these men than family and their ol' ladies. I loved this book. Diesel was everything I'd hoped he'd be and more. Knocked it out of the park! Can you give a book more than 5 stars?

I didn't like this one at all.
Hero was a manwhore through and through and he liked his freedomhood too much. His favourite hoby was to bang a woman against a wall in the wash room. He felt that women were clingers and nags and wouldn't be caught dead with a regular woman let alone an ol' lady. I didn't like him much.
Then again the heroine wasn't much better either. She had been lusting after Hero all her life. She chased him and offered herself sexually even when he made it clear booty calls were all that he was interested in. Cringe worthy moments right there.

Diesel and Jewel both drove me nuts. Him for his whoring ways, not caring who saw, even Jewel, her for still wanting a man that slept with everyone who came near him. Both were playing games, it was stupid. What was worse was everyone in the MC knew what was going on, yet neither warned the other, they just waiting until the two were settled as a couple.
I found the other things to be more interesting, like what was going on with Pierce and Diesel's Shadows, those men are scary and have some great skills.

Ok, I am going to say it Diesel is my favorite.
I can’t help it he is just soo yummy, he and Jewel just work. I loved that she was so, go with the flow but also that she stuck with her guns about somethings. She wants what she wants and is willing to fight for it but give Diesel what he needs. Only I think he figured out his needs were a lot more “needy” they even he would have ever thought. Haha
It really is great to see an Alpha male fall hard for their woman. It makes the story so interesting that you can’t put it down.
100% love that I was expecting one thing only for it to not happen; it was a relief to not be able to predict the way a story is going to go and just enjoy the ride.
Let's talk narrators, I have been a fan of Wen’s for a long time and when I heard him as Diesel I was sunk in all the good ways. He just has that voice that works for this gruff MC enforcer. Ava lordy bee; the woman can make each heroine unique and have their own voices. I loved that so much. Sometimes when the same narrator does a whole series the books all seem to blend but I can tell you that is not the case with this one. I am loving 'em and can’t wait for the next installment.

There is just something about a grunting alpha biker that I love and this series works for me. I loved how both of these characters stayed true to themselves. We get a little bit of a surprise concerning one person's parentage, some resolution from a previous story and get to see the direction the club is going. I eagerly await the next book

Yes to Diesel!!
Absolutely loved this story...the second time around was just as good or better! Diesel is all alpha and is fighting his attraction to the beautiful Jewel. Jewel gives Diesel a taste of his own medicine and its a sweet sexy ride to see. Absolutely love this series! I don't read an entire series a second read but this one is that good. Happy Reading!!

Jewel has been a part of the DAMC since birth and they are blood to her, she knows she was born to have an ol' man. I did not expect to like her, in fact she annoyed me a little at the start but I couldn't help but warm to her.
Diesel doesn't want an ol' lady and wants Live Free, Die Free! A night together leads to a causal relationship between the two, but will he realize Jewel is what he wants before it is too late?
In the past month I've become addicted to this author and series. I'm ploughing through them all and loving every single book. This book was no different! These two where so hot together and I couldn't put the book down. As with all of these books so far the secondary characters are the bomb and I love hearing from previous couples and seeing new faces.
I highly recommend picking this up and reading this series, you won’t regret it. I'm diving right back into the next book.

Wasn't too sure at first because Diesel was just so mean, I mean jeez! I love the surly ones but he really went above and beyond.
Eventually he arced and changed and that's what we love right? Watching characters grow?
Jewelee was adorable and the prefect mix of strong and sweet. She had a good arc too.

This book doesn't disappoint. It is best to read this book after the previous 3 in the series, as many references are made to events in previous books.

This is the first time reading something by this author by this author. Once I started I couldn't put it down. I liked reading about Diesel.

Two stars because my girl had no pride. She literally threw herself at this man whore and begged for scraps of attention. Like come on Jewels, act like your feelings matter a little bit. Instead she literally stripped down in the street for him but called the girls hanging around skanks? Just no. It was hypocritical and desperate and if I were Diesel I would have avoided her clingy ass too.

Whelp. Diesel. Sigh. I know DAMC is more of a "hardcore" group than some other MC romances, but yeah, he's a manwhore. You really just have to come out and say it. When you come down to it, there's not much to his personality too. It's brash, abrasive, overbearing. The reader never gets an "open up" moment with him. It's an "I'm a biker. This is what I do." Okay then.
Jewel is...I don't even know what to say...just a lost puppy following Diesel around, looking for scraps essentially. They somehow form a romance from this, though Diesel keeps telling her that he doesn't want tied down, and she says that she won't be a clinger while she secretly pines away for him. It's just an all out disaster.
There could have been things done with this book to make both characters more likeable, but the author didn't spend the time with them to do it and focused on the sex and a bit more of the Pierce drama that's been unfolding throughout the series. The book had some entertaining parts, but the romance itself was a bit of a tailspin.

Best of the series so far!! I can't explain it but this one had more heart and soul but still had all the steamy goodness like the others.
Jewel is DAMC through and through. Born and raised. She isn't like some of the women who don't want to be an old lady and be "property" of a club member....no she wants it and feels like she needs it too. Wants that property patch and wants to ride on her man's bike. Only problem is who she wants. She wants the one man that says "Born free, die free". The one who never wants a woman on his bike and who all the other women have seen his ass because he is always getting a little strange while he has a new woman pinned to the wall in the women's bathroom. Yes, she wants Diesel.
Diesel is an asshole and don't care what anyone thinks about him. He is always looking for a different woman every time the club has a party which is more often than not. Don't forget the bar they own is connected to the clubhouse so he is always looking for someone new and finds it most of the time. Never cared to go back for seconds with a woman. Never plans to have an old lady much less little rug rats. If he isn't working at his protection agency and not doing club business he is hooking up with someone new except when little Jewelee is getting herself in trouble and he is having to protect her from herself. Always causing trouble. They almost had a hook up but they came to their senses and put brakes on that. Only problem is if she keeps pushing him then he is going to have to do something about it.

If you love the type of hero that bossy, dominant, alpha, and grumpy? Yes this book is for you. This man, D is for you. Less words more action kinda man. And the heroin? The type that not giving up, strong independent woman who stood on her own feet’s yup that’s Jewelee.
The sex scene is not written too much and just enough for me and I really like it. It give you the best satisfaction of reading. I know there’s some book it give a lot and kinda a annoying but this is just nice.
I highly recommended this one! :)

Really didn’t care for descriptive sexcapades of the H at the start of the book especially when he was doing it after he was attracted to the h. When you’ve read Hs that can’t even get it up after meeting the h, heroes like diesel do come up short but other than this minor slack in the story, the rest was quite enjoyable. I was looking for a story where the h was chasing to the point of annoying but even the H never fully stopped it and neither did he humiliate her by sticking it to ow so this book delivered. Really liked the fact that his commitment phobia was just because of some macho bullshit rather than an ex. I’d take that over ex lover trauma any day. Good chemistry between the MCs. Good read

Re-read a couple times now...and I still love that Beast!!! My heart literally squeezed everytime he rejected Jewlee...she loved him since forever and watching him take other women was just so hard on her until she had had enough. Way to stand your ground girl!

Whats the book about?
Diesel is the Sergeant at Arms, and Enforcer for the Dirty Angels MC. His motto is “Live free, Die free”. He doesn’t want any nagging women to tie him down, he prefers quick hook ups with faceless women with no BS afterwards. Jewel has wanted Diesel for the longest time. She wants to be his old lady, on the back of his bike and in his bed. She refers to Diesel as “Beast”, as that’s what he’s like, in and out the bedroom. Despite his manwhore ways with women, usually in the MC’s bathroom, and his quick temper, Jewel wants him, and this strong feisty women will get what she wants. Diesel is how I like all my men. Pure fucking alpha. He doesn’t want any women nagging at him, or his bike or in his life for more than a quick fuck. Watching Jewel go toe to toe with him is absolutely awesome! She doesn’t take shit from anyone, I absolutely love her! She’s sassy, sarcastic and will get what she wants. Some scenes honestly make me laugh as Jewel is so quick witted. D is legendary for his brutality, even among other MC’s they know exactly who he is and what he is capable of. Watching him slowly love Jewel and need her is awesome, and realistic. Honestly, these two as a pair are kick ass!! We get to see a bit more of D’s “Shadows” which is a team he works with, alongside the MC. The Shadows also have their own series so I am super excited to read them too. The chemistry from D and Jewel is sexy, hot and pure wicked!
Final Thoughts?
Buy me, buy me, buy me! I love this series, even if you aren’t a big series person, you can read this book as a standalone and you will follow the characters and story line easily. I started with Book 1, Zak, and have fallen head over heels in love with this MC Romance. I personally prefer reading the series, instead of standalone, so I can get to know the characters, their stories and their personalities a bit more! I love the amount of books, so its a nice sized series. The MC men are *insert flame emojis here*. I binged Zak and Jag in one day, I couldn’t put it down. I am working my way through the rest of the gorgeous MC men, and am super excited to review the series as a whole, but I honestly just HAD TO review Diesel, he demands his own review!

Nous sommes au tome 4 avec Diesel , la bête qui voit ses frères tombés amoureux et lui préfère la solitude, et des femmes sans attaches. C’est le bonheur pour lui, mais voilà il a une épine au pied au doux nom de Jewel, qui n’en fait qu’à sa tête, qui se met dans les ennuis jusqu’au coup avec sa cousine et donc l’appelle, pour qu’il vienne.
Il pourrait dire non, mais il ne peut pas pas, car c’est une princesse, qui doit être bien traitée et à cause de ce qu’il s’est passé avec Kiki et Bella, il vaut mieux les protéger.
Jewel ne rêve ue d’une chose, être une vielle dame, être reconnue en tant que telle, car c’est un honneur, une fierté, et un respect. Mais voilà, il y a le hic Diesel. Diesel qui ne veut pas ouvrir son coeur, qui croit qu’une simple relation peut suffire et que lorsque tous les deux en auront marre, on se dira ciao c’etait bien, restons amis (oui c’est un homme et ne sait pas bien réflechir.
Cependant est-ce que cela vaut le coup? est-ce que cela vaut le coup d’attendre qu’il l’accepte comme sa vieille dame? Franchement Jewel il ne faut pas trop attendre.... car tout peut arriver.
