4.5 Stars rounding up to 5 Stars for the final book that is a very satisfying ending in this excellent series. At least I assume it is the end considering the title.

This book has our two protagonists adjusting to their new roles. As a married couple, Olivia as a stay at home Mom, Emily as a scriptwriter and then there is Henry starting Kindergarten.

The book begins in a whirlwind. It’s starts off with their wedding, and because Emily is due to start her new job as scriptwriter in London soon after, they take Henry on their Honeymoon to maximize their time together. Emily gets her dream job but in a reversal, it is she that has to commute to London every week. She loves, loves her job but being away from her family during the week is taking its toll. Olivia in the meantime is Olivia but with Emily’s help she is learning to tamp down her proclivities. She still has problems recognizing social cues which leads to some humorous situations, especially with Emily away. Although Olivia loves being home with Henry, she soon runs out of projects to keep her busy while Henry is in school.

If I didn’t have so many new books in my to read next list I would start rereading Book 1 now. But soon...

Book 3 and what seems to be the conclusion of this series was an absolute delight to read. I think the reason why I waited so long to read this was because books 1 and 2 had a fair bit of drama in them, with some of it being very over the top.

Though this book did have some angst in it, none of it felt too dramatized. Another very welcome surprise was that this book was a lot funnier (to me) than the previous books. Olivia is such a wonderful quirky character that you can't help but laugh as she finds herself in some very awkward situations.

The author did a great job at writing Olivia and her struggle with being retired and becoming a stay at home mom while Emily takes on the world of theater and script writing. The secondary characters were also well written and once again did their jobs to help flesh out the story.

Overall this was a sweet story with a little mystery and humor thrown in that kept me turning the pages. It gets a 4.25* rating and is my favorite of the 3 books.

When I heard A.E. Radley was writing a third book in the Flight SQA016 series I will admit there was a little happy dancing in my house. This series has been one of my favourites in the past year and honestly, this book finishes the series off perfectly.

Emily and Olivia are enjoying life as a family and looking forward to finally being married and making their family grow. Henry is about to start school and Emily’s career is finally taking off with the offer of a lifetime of becoming a professional scriptwriter in London. Everyone is having their new adventure but Olivia. Olivia is still unemployed (not that she needs the money) and while her wife is off in London making her dreams come true, she’s at home playing housewife and mother to their son, Henry. Can Olivia make it work? And is Emily’s new career worth being away from her family?

If there was ever a book to tie everything from the first two books together this is the book. It’s everything these two characters are known for but with the added security of them being a family already. I don’t want to ruin it but Olivia has a fair few funny moments in this book that are comedy gold. I also think the intimacy between Olivia and Emily is on a higher level than ever before, maybe its the security of finally being together or that they are evolving together but I just felt like their love and chemistry was more intense.

Fantastic novel that I can’t urge you enough to read. In fact, buy the whole series and get lost in it for a few days because truely its worth every moment of your time.

So loving this series... Journey’s End, the third and final book in the series (as it stand today). You’ll need to read book 1 & 2 and not just start with book 3... If you do, you would have missed a fair bit of this lovely couple and how they finally came together! I just loved the interaction between Olivia and Emily... And reading about them in this 3rd book just had me smiling and laughing .... I simply adored Olivia and all her quirkiness !!

Third and final (I believe) book in this series.

This book finds Emily and Olivia married and living . . . mostly apart. As Emily has found limited success as a scriptwriter that requires her to work in London - commuting between there and New York. (Less required than an opportunity to get 'inside' experience by working directly on a play as it is put on stage). Henry (that's the kids name right?) is just now starting school, and Olivia is watching over him while Olivia is traveling/working. They don't just relocate to London for several reasons, some more important than others - I'll just mention that Olivia has issues now with flying on planes.

Then Emily 'develops' a stalker. Funnily enough, I knew immediately who the actual stalker was, but whatever.

Interesting book.

A nice addition

I have been a big fan of this series and even though it has taken me awhile to get to reading this one, I was still looking forward to it. I enjoyed the story though not my favorite in the series I still enjoyed the journey of Emily, Olivia, and Henry. I think my favorite part was with the "washing" of Tiny. Fans of the series will enjoy this one.

I wish things weren’t so crazy at work. So I would have the time to curl up in my favourite place and just read. But with Journeys End I was kind of happy that things are crazy at work. Because every time I got a chance to catch up with Emily, Olivia, and Henry. They and the story made me smile and laugh. I wonder what the rest of Olivia’s pregnancy be like? Or will the threesome have a boy or a girl? I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to smile :)

This story started slowly and for about a third of the book it was quite ‘flat’. There was very little of the quirky humour from the previous books and I was beginning to get a bit worried, fortunately the story took off and Olivia and Henry began to provide their usual funny moments.

Several of the reviewers are convinced this is the last book in the series, but I could quite easily see the author finding more to write about. I for one would definitely read another book about Olivia and Emily.

I absolutely adore this series. I’m devistated that it’s come to an end.
I think the character of Olivia is written perfectly not only seeing her interact with others but her thought processes are incredible.
My own wife has Aspergers and I can’t help but smile whenever I read these books because A E Radley has got it so right (though I wish I had the patience and understanding she credits Emily with).
It’s a beautiful series and I emplor all to read it.

Olivia, Emily, and Henry what a triad. I appreciate the day-to-day life of family. It was interesting as well as fun to watch the family dynamics in particular the interaction between Olivia and Henry. This series has been a wonderful journey of uncertainty, exploration, and most definitely, love.

My heart is still a flutter from this book. While I completely and utterly adored this installment, my heart was heavy because I knew it was the end and I didn't want to let it go. This has been a tremendous journey of love with these books and I know I will be picking them up to read them all over again, time and time again. The story and relationship is real and beautiful and I'm not sure if I am going to be able to find the exact words to describe my love of this series. Emily and Olivia, along with Henry and Tiny, have come so far in this journey. As each of the characters remembered different things from the past and how they came to be a family, it made me laugh and remember along with them, and warmed my heart.
There are so many different favorite moments in this book that I'll try to perhaps pick my favorites without giving much away. There was a really small instance in a conversation between Olivia and Emily where the terms 'domestic goddess' and 'my little housewife' were used and a mention of an outfit. Not gonna say more. It was very small but just the banter there had me grinning like an idiot and chuckling. I really do love these two ladies and how far they have come in understanding one another and being able to banter.
Those who have read the first two books in this series know how much progress Olivia has made in her understanding of social things. But believe me... there's still work to be done. Which is clearly evident in a situation that comes about with Henry's teacher. The moment I realized what had been interpreted, I remember having to put the book down and close my eyes as I said to myself... 'Oh. My. God' then proceeded to laugh and picked up the book to continue.
My review is getting long so I will try to wrap this up. Two other favorite parts involved 'Operation Save Tiny', and then Henry's care and concern with Olivia's fear of flying and his adorableness of helping her.
Journey's End was a beautiful way to end a wonderful story's journey, but again, I'm sad to see it go because I honestly don't want to let these characters go.

OMG this was amazing, i think this was one of the fastes reads ever. I couldnt put the book away. After the last book i was so sure there wont be another part but im glad there is...and i could use more ;)
Journey´s End describes perfectly how both of our favorite ladies lifes changed, Emily becoming a writer for theater plays and Olivia finally laying back a bit and see what life is about besides work. I love to see how Emily grows and shines while working at something she truly loves. Her side plot made the story very interessting and the main reason i couldnt put the book away. More important often you know right from the beginning who is the bad guy in the story but this storyline was wery well writen and it took my by suprise to figure out the mystery.
I love Olivias protectiv side and how they worked out her akwardness its brilliant. I absolutly felt in love again with little Henry omg he made my cry. The jokes are brilliant and he is just as adorable as i remembered him. Its so nice to see him after all the pain in the first book as a joyfull kid - and i need a cat now ;)
I absolutly can recomend the book - or better the serie since the book itselfs is a nice read but of course it makes more sence if you read the other books too.
I recieved a free copy for an honest review.

Well, even though I've all 3 books, I didn't know it, and had no clue there was a series, so I read book one 1st. I love it! (Now I'm going to read the other 2). This follows Olivia and Emily in the beginning of their marriage. Also, Emily is starting a new career as a playwright./scriptwriter. Only it's in England. Which leaves Olivia and Henry home in the US and Emily flying home for the weekends. This is an engaging story! 5 stars!

When you think it can't get better, well, it does get better. This third book in the Flight series is just as good as the two before.
Olivia just retired and has to fill her married life taking care of everything and, of course, perfectly done. On the other side, Emily is living her dream job as a scriptwriter even if it means she has to be away from her family.
I have enjoyed the development of the stories, Olivia and Emily being in different places and facing different situations. And because of this, I have really missed more interaction between the two of them.
I love Olivia's change. Still being Olivia, her line of thoughts and actions have improved since the first time I read the first book.
Henry is also a main character on the story, providing us with a lot of laughs and endearing moments, especially his moments with Olivia. Sometimes it makes me wonder who's the kid between the two of them.
The book ended too soon, I wanted more, especially since it's the last one on the series (maybe not?). It's like you can't get enough of all of them. But as a conclusion to the series, it is a great end.
There is no doubt this is a five star book for me. And there is no doubt that A.E. Radley is an excellent story teller.
I received an ARC for an honest review (and I will buy the paperback as soon as I post this).

The third part of The Flight Series, Journey's End, is here - and boy, is it a great read! I loved Flight SQA016, liked the sequel very much (but not as much as the first book), and this last one is at least as good as the first.

Olivia and Emily get married in a refreshingly short and sweet episode (after all, the marriage ceremony is not the point of this story) and have arranged their lives anew: this time the one to commute between New York and London is Emily. Olivia has to adjust to being the stay-at-home mother, which brings about some misunderstandings and funny situations.

There's a lot of humour and warmth, but also a subplot that's a bit unpleasant (ew, but good - it can't all be flowers and sunshine, right? that would make a pretty boring story) and plenty of longing.

Good things: the love, the humour, theatre stuff, Fluffy!

Bad things: er... that it ended - or did I just read it too quickly?

Anyway, loved it.

This book series is so good! I can't believe it has come to an end. These characters will be missed, however this story ended the perfect way for me. I love Olivia, Emily and Henry so much, the best family unit I got to read about in years imho. Good job, A.E.

• Journey's End
• Amanda Raldey
• MC Olivia & Emily

Olivia has just retired and wants to support Emily with her new opportunity to write. After they’re married, it’s a new beginning for the whole family.

Henry will be starting school soon and just like the last book he’s the true star.

Life happens for the MC for sure. There are definitely
story lines you don’t see coming.

Olivia was sweet and kind and moved heaven and earth
For Emily and Henry. The book touches on autism and ADHD. I love how patient Emily was with Olivia.

Their love for one other and their friends and family
never wavered once. I throughly enjoyed the series.I was sad to see it end. I highly recommend this book series.
Both MC come fully circle.

Argh! I hate that there is no way for us to add books anymore. This is the only version of the story and the lack of details is frankly appalling.

Anyway, unto the story! This is the one I liked more in the series. The issues between Emily and Olivia felt realistic and they got fair treatment. I didn't see the need to add the stalker plot but then, that's me :P

I liked that Olivia got over her fear and found a new career path that she enjoys and I'm sure, will excel at.

All in all, this is a lovely end to a light, heartwarming series and I enjoyed it very much.

Sometimes I’m at a loss regarding how and in what order a series should be released. Such is the case with Ms Radley’s 'Flight Series'. Instead of releasing the three books in the order they were meant to be, BSB's has decided to jump over the first book, 'Flight SQA016' and release both 'Grounded' and 'Journey’s End'. I’m sure there must be a reason, right?
Well since I’ve already read the whole series I can let you know that you will not be disappointed. This is the story of Emily White and her young son Henry, along with Olivia Lewis. They meet on the plane going to London. Emily works as a flight attendant, while Olivia travels back and forth over the pond each week.
Henry is the one who gets the two women together. He's very ill and can only get the help he needs in London. Apparently American doctors don’t know how to treat Henry so Emily brings him with her while she’s supposed to be working. Long story short, there are more than a few twists and turns, and misunderstandings to keep you picking up the book for a few more pages.
I did that and can honestly say I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Thank you to NetGalley, Amanda Radley and the publisher for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I didn’t realise this book was the 3rd one in the series until I went to review it. It can be read as a stand alone book if people haven’t read the first 2, but now that I think of it past trauma is hinted throughout that isn’t explained in this.

Overall I loved this. It was a lighthearted and feel-good read about a relationship between Emily, Olivia and their son Henry. It was perfectly uplifting and just what I needed to read right now. I’d definitely recommend.

Journey’s End is the conclusion to the three part series which begins with Flight SQA016, and followed by Grounded.
What I like about the love story between Olivia and Emily is that they are not perfect individuals and their romance is not without angst and realistic problems.
As with the first two novels, this one could stand alone but would be enriched by reading the first two as there are a few references to back story.
The supporting characters again are essential to the plot and add to the comedic nature of the story. The character of Henry is especially endearing and the author uses his character to teach some important and realistic parenting tips. He is a ‘cracker’ of a character and his own humour and the stories surrounding his antics add to the feel of the book. If you thought Tiny was a funny name for a stuffed giraffe wait till you see what he names his latest animal.
The intimate scenes in this story are all fade to black so no need to sensor young readers from this story, while I don’t mind hot scenes this seemed to fit better with the story.
Overall, I enjoyed watching all characters grow and develop into more loveable people (if that was possible), especially Olivia who has to overcome many obstacles to find her zen.
The cover speaks for itself, it is well done and enticing.
This series is one of my favourite and I while this novel ties everything in nicely I don’t want to let go of these characters. I hope the author decides to add to the series and follow Emily, Olivia and Henry’s next great adventure. Maybe if we all read it and beg her for the same thing she will cave and continue the series.
I have no hesitation with a five star and this is a definite re-read.
I was given and ARC for an honest review.

Plot: This plot was pretty empty. Emily starts a new job editing the play she wrote. She travels to London during the week and travels home to New York during the weekend to spend time with her family. The trip is straining but there are no work opportunities for Emily in New York. While in London she is stalked by a member of the theater company. Olivia struggles with being bored during the day while Henry is at school. The obvious solution to all of these problems is for their family to move to London so they can support each other while Olivia starts a new business.

The stalker was also obvious to me. The red herring was so overtly creepy that it was clear he was just an awkward fellow and the stalker was the only other character mentioned in this book that wasn’t already a known friend. That doesn’t explain how the stalker got the information that she did about Emily’s new hotel room.

Characterization: Olivia has devolved in each of these books. She starts as a brilliant business woman who is blunt in social situations. In this book she thinks so many ridiculous things that have nothing to do with social awkwardness like thinking drinking less than a glass of wine means she’s an alcoholic. She is a smart woman who understands the definitions of words. This book turns her into a silly caricature of her personality in the first book.

Emily’s personality doesn’t change at all in this book. She is still a good mom, she still loves Olivia, she still is sensitive about money.

Writing: This was written in third person perspective. The lack of a real plot made this book drag on.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest ARC review. Having read the first two books of the Flight Series by A. E. Radley I can safely say that I was not disappointed by Journey’s End. It was a fabulous read and enjoyable as the first and second books. The continued development of Olivia, and Emily’s characters and their relationship is fantastic. I truly couldn’t put this book down, and can’t wait to get my hands on a paperback copy when it is released.

All parts of the story have been nicely tied up, and it was an interesting switch in dynamic between Olivia and Emily from the first and second books. Olivia staying at home and still getting herself into all sorts of situations, while Emily made the commute just added to my love of this series as it reflects what so often, realistically can happen in life with sudden changes of situation. It was also nice to see Simon and Sophie, Irene, Tom, and Lucy were still very much a part of the book, and that there is a little more of Nicole.

I really enjoyed Journey’s End and would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to read a story that is romantic, yet has enough humour to make it wonderfully realistic. As for the addition of a kitten to the family for Henry. All I can say is…………the kitten literally steals the show!

Once again, thank you A. E. Radley for another AMAZING story, and I hope perhaps one day you might revisit these characters in a future set story!

The final book of the Flight series by A.E. Radley is not enough. I love these characters with all their flaws and eccentricities. Perhaps it is my love for Olivia that is not enough. Olivia is one of my favorite characters, because of her inability to relate to others social situations in a way that most of us take for granted. Walking that journey with her through this series, as she fights to be a better person, to succeed personally and professionally, and learn to accept herself, has been a delight. This is a series you will want to read again, although the difficulties that both Olivia and Emily face separately and together, threaten to derail them, a child is the glue that will anchor them both. I love this author’s ability to create complex characters giving them personal and professional growth, superb dialogue with depth and humor, and enough twists to keep me invested and wanting to come back for more. Exceptional!

This was a great conclusion to the series. I really enjoyed the entire storyline of Emily, Olivia and Henry. It was really nice seeing Olivia taking on a bigger role in Henry's life in this book. Olivia is one of my favorite characters and her quirks are interesting to see. It was also nice to see that Emily had also embraced those quirks and allowed Olivia to be who she was without making her feel badly. In the end it seems they worked all their obstacles out and they will live happily ever after, but I do hope we at least see something else with these two with the new baby. I just think seeing how Olivia reacts to having an infant would be very interesting. Great series, I'd recommend it to anyone!
