Featuring Brody and Claudia from Something More. Both books stand alone.
USA Today Bestselling Author Ella Jade has been writing for as long as she can remember. As a child, she often had a notebook and pen with her, and now as an adult, the laptop is never far. The plots and dialogue have always played out in her head, but she never knew what to do with them. That all changed when she discovered the eBook industry. She started penning novels at a rapid pace and now she can’t be stopped.
Ella resides in New Jersey with her husband, two boys and two feisty Chihuahuas named Roxie and Macy. She can often be found creating sexy, domineering men and the strong women who know how to challenge them in and out of the bedroom. She hopes you’ll get lost in her words.

Gavin was not my favourite character in Something More. He was a spoilt, rich brat who thought the world owed him and he had no idea how to treat women. I did not think there was anything about him that could be redeemed. However, his chance encounter with Justine and his actions after proved me wrong. This book is really charming. Bad boy Gavin has finally matured and he meets his perfect mate and realises all the mistakes he has made. He know he can't change them but maybe he can be a better person going forward. There are lots of emotions in this book and I admit to shedding a few tears. It was great to see Gavin and Brody find their back to be loving brothers and Claudia being comfortable in the Callahan family. A great Happy Ever After.
Like the first book this was a quick read. The author provides enough summary of book 1 that this could be read on its own - but you’d definitely want to read in order because the storylines are heavily intertwined. Reformed bad boy isn’t my favorite trope as I don’t feel most authors actually redeem them - but I like what Ella Jade did with Gavin here.
The relationship between Justine and Gavin was sweet and sexy. However, the secondary storylines felt underdeveloped and awkward.
If you want to see how a bad boy can turn his life around then look no further, this is the book for you. All you need is the love from a good woman, and some forgiveness. A well written book, characters you fall in love with all over again and some great steamy scenes...
Justine Carlucci never expected to end up in a situation like this, but here she is single and pregnant. On top of that, she also looks after her father who likes to drink a little too much. She's do what she has to make ends meet no matter what.
Gavin Callahan is finally getting his act together both professionally and personally. He made some mistakes that could have cost him his family so this second chance to prove himself is important.
A chance encounter one night brings Justine into Gavin's radar. He can't deny his attraction to her but he tries to fight it nonetheless. And when he learns about the baby, he finds himself in rather awkward predicament.
Does he continue getting to know the woman that captivates him? Or does he let her go because she deserves better?
But before he can make that his choice, Justine finds out about his secret. Will she be able to trust him after learning the truth? Or will she decide she's can be with a guy with this kind of past?
Redeeming Gavin is a sensational story about forgiveness, redemption, and love.
Gavin is the ultimate bad boy that's learned his lesson and it takes Justine's love for him to finally forgive himself. I love that Gavin understands what he did was wrong and you can feel his remorse radiate off the pages.
Justine is just the woman Gavin needs. She's strong, independent, and feisty. I love how she never compromises her ethics or integrity, always doing what is right.
And when Gavin stops fighting his attraction and finally gives in... hot damn!! Justine is truly one lucky lady because Gavin's sole focus is on her and only every her. He knows just how special Justine is and will do everything in his power (and his talents) to make her happy and oh so satisfied.
If you are looking for a read that will delight you and leave sated yet still yearning for more, then I highly recommend you pick up Redeeming Gavin. This bad boy will show you just how wonderful redemption can be.
I’ve been waiting to see what happens to Gavin after his epic fail of being a decent man until the ending of Something More. Two years later he’s back in N.Y. and proven to Brody he can be an equal in business, so now Brody and Gavin share the family business. His past still haunts him and now even more so when he meets Justine, a woman who works the front desk at the company. Justine has found out she’s pregnant with her ex’s baby and he doesn’t want anything to do with her or the baby, so she’s alone and pregnant, living with her dad but with no partner. A chance meeting between them has Gavin pursuing her and when she opens up to him about her situation, he can’t help but make the comparison to himself and tries to stay away. Stay away he can’t and neither can she and soon he has taken a role in protecting her and making her happy but he hasn’t told her about his past and to move forward in their relationship she has to know the type of man he used to be...will she accept him ? What an amazing read with some steamy scenes and moving on with the future and putting the past behind. Ella Jade did an amazing job with Gavin and I loved him in this read, when I didn’t really think he could be redeemable, the author was able to change my mind and I actually felt for the man and his struggles he has now trying to deal with his past. Especially struggling with telling Justine what happened, the vulnerability and sensitive side he shows while with Justine....loved it. Justine was one he** of a woman, strong, independent, smart and perfect for Gavin and the ending when it all comes out...Love will conquer all, comes to mind. I also loved reading about Brody and Claudia, catching up with them and Jason. The epilogue was the best and that alone was worth 5 stars for me. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
Ella's words just suck you in and you become so captivated with her characters that you can't put the book down. Her characters are simple and complex at the same time and you become enthralled with them.
The selfish, mean, self centered, and immature man you wanted to slap in Something More crawls into your heart in this book and you just want him to redeem himself.
Gavin matured since we last heard from him and the remorse he is caring is palpable through out the book. When he meets Justine he is intrigued by her, but when he finds out her situation he is torn. The irony of his situation with Justine is not something he takes lightly that's why he tries to fight it at first but he's heart does not listen. He's been keeping a secret and when she finds out will Justine understand?
Justine finds herself pregnant and the father of the baby does not want them. When she gets involved with with Gavin she thinks he is wonderful and would never abandoned his child. She knows he has skeletons in his past but what family doesn't, when he's ready tell her he will. When she finally knows his secret will she forgive him? . I received an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I didn't think that there was a possibility of Gavin being redeemed, but Ella sure proved me wrong. I'll be honest, when I first met Gavin I wanted to throat punch him. Had Justine not forgotten her wallet, I might still despise Gavin. Their story shows that time and real love can overcome obstacles that you put in your own path. It was a moving tale and I enjoyed it immensely. The irony of the story line compared to Gavin's past won't be lost on any of the readers from Something More. While you don't need to read it to enjoy this book, you will get so much more out of Gavin's character progression if you do. Gavin meets and eventually falls in love with Justine. She's a lovely woman in a difficult position - pregnant by an ex who wants nothing to do with her or the baby. Gavin befriends her and is drawn to both in spite of and because of her circumstances. There is a bit of drama at the end that is warranted for the long term. Pick this one up and give it a shot. I think you'll like it. I received an advanced reader copy of this book for a voluntary and completely honest review.
I received a free copy of this book am voluntarily leaving a review. Gavin is the type of guy you want to dislike intensely. However, as the story continues he does seem on the road to redemption. Justine's situation is delicate. She is pregnant and the father wants nothing to do with her or the unborn baby. She tries to persevere. She and Gavin cross paths and they are attracted to each other. Gavin is in hot pursuit; he wants her all that goes with her. But he is conflicted at times due to his family. This causes stress for him and Justine. I understand that reading the previous book, Something More, would be beneficial. I have already downloaded it. I look forward to reading the prequel and then putting that plus this book together to have a bigger picture of Gavin.
So when I read Something More I absolutely despised Gavin and thought there was no way he could come back from that, but Ella Jade really knows how to work magic and pulled off what I thought would be impossible to do.
Now of course when I started reading I still wasn't sure it could be done and I still didn't like Gavin, but slowly and surely I started to fall for him just as Justine did.
Gavin was a sweet and fun loving character who is flawed, but aren't we all?! I really enjoyed the chemistry between Gavin and Justine and I am really glad Ella Jade was able to redeem Gavin he totally deserved his HEA.
Get your hankies ready because you're going to need them! This is a very hot romance but also very tumultuous. Gavin has a secret and it creates a few problems in the relationship with Justine. There are times you want to strangle him (which is the same with most men! LOL!) but you also want to just hold him. This book can definitely be read as a standalone but you would probably enjoy it more knowing the back story from Something More. So do yourself a favor and enjoy both books by Ms. Jade. You won't regret it!
This book portrays Gavin turning over a new leaf and being the man he should have been with Claudia. We get to see a side of him that you can't help falling a little bit in love with. Justine is so open and honest, literally wearing her heart on her sleeve. She has no expectations of Gavin yet allows him to be there for her in the way he needs. I really loved the Epilogue in the end as it shows how well the Callahans have gelled together as a family and put their past behind them.
I received an Advanced Reviewers Copy from the author for voluntary review consideration.
Wow, redeeming Gavin is right! After reading book one, I never would have guessed it could happen, but it did. Although this can be read as a standalone, reading book one gives the reader a bigger insight into just what a jerk Gavin was in the past. The Gavin in this story changes. He even becomes likeable, and I really liked him with Justine. They were great together. I recommend reading both stories. *I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my honest review.*
Side note: One does not have to read Something More to get and understand this book.
I read Something More a while ago and absolutely did not like Gavin one bit but, I must agree with others this book was perfectly imperfect - in the sense that Gavin completely owned his demon past and would not let Justine make him out to be the victim. I really enjoyed it and thought the author did an amazing job writing his story.
Gladly give this 4 1/2 stars! Excellent quickish read.
I hated Gavin in Something More! He was such an a-hole and that is describing him nicely. I never thought I would care for him after reading Something More. However, in this story he finally grew up and took on more responsibilities. When he meets Justine, I do think it is ironic that she is going through the same ordeal that Claudia went through when she was with Gavin. I thought that Gavin and Justine needed each other in ways they couldn't even handle and they made each other whole. Ella did an amazing job of Gavin and in his redemption. This is a must read!
You never know what FATE has in store for our lives. Gavin certainly finds out the hard way that what comes around goes around, karma is a bitch or paybacks are hell. He is a man with a past, the man you hate to love. I enjoyed Gavin and Justine's story it made Gavin seem human and a likable character. This book was well written and made the Callahan Family a real family with members that really cared about each other. Lots of emotion for all of the characters.
I was all set to not read abut Gavin's redemption, but when I saw it was a short book, I figured why now. I did buy his connection to Justine more than Brody/Claudia's. The supermarket interaction is the meet-cute of RomCom gold. I liked that she was up front with him from the get go, for the most part. It was nice seeing that he kept his word and was like an uncle to Jason. Liked the epilogue of everyone as one happy family with the past behind them.
Omg, I loved this book. I was hooked from the start, the connection and chemistry between Gavin and Justine was amazing and hot!! It was great to see the change in Gavin. A great story, I laughed, and I cried. A must read!!
Gavin finally grew into mam his father and brother new he could be but he still had to prove to himself that he changed when he finds new relationship that will have some twists and turns he didn't expect. Loved the story. Read it one sitting.
I absolutely fell in love with both books, these were absolutely amazing, the characters, how string and capable and how amazing they all are. This author did an amazing job with both books!! I highly recommend!!!
Its a heart warming story. Gavin learns from his past and finds someone who loves and cares for him. I loved the story, the characters. It had all the feels of an awesome book.
I read the first book in the series, so i was looking forward to reading this one. It was a bit of a let down for me honestly. I wondered how Gavin could be redeemed, but there wasn't enough for me.
After reading something more I needed to see what happened to Gavin. I could not put this book down. I do love a HEA even if that path getting there is less than stellar.
I loved this book. I love how Gavin found himself and redemption with Justine. He finally came to terms with what he did in his past forgave himself, and found peace in his life. They are perfect for each other.
