Priya loves helping out at the stall her family have run for donkey's years. But one day she meets Stan. His dad sells everything from dog treats to fish tanks - just like the Sharma family!
Priya is horrified, but Nana-ji is on hand to offer lessons on the balance sheet of life.
High quality cream paper and a special easy to read font ensure a smooth read for all.
A lovely story adapted for children with dyslexia. With a good variety of language and a font that's easy to read, this book was an enjoyable read. The story is not complex however there's a nice underlying message and meaning. All connected through mint choc chip ice cream, what can go wrong?
Lovely illustrations and clearly written story, just felt it was lacking in an ending (or really any sort of development/conclusion). All competition is not good competition for small businesses, I’m afraid.
I really enjoyed the story, it had a bit of an odd ending and it left me with more questions.... Did the retail park effect the market? Did the families market stall survive the rival pet supply stall?
