Maria Villanueva is still unhappy that her brother was taken from her and put into a foster home—which was really a boys’ ranch—four and a half years before. When she finishes her education, she moves to the town closest to his location to start a business and be close to her brother. She expresses her unhappiness for the situation with one of the brothers running the ranch, and he makes sure she spends more time there to see what the ranch is really like. Ephraim McClain knows within minutes of meeting Maria that she is the woman he’s destined to spend his life with. He offers her the first client for her new business, and does his best to make sure she’s always around him. As they get to know one another, he loses his heart. Will she be able to understand that the ranch is a good place? Or will she continue to battle with her feelings for him?
. But she’s content to be a small-town girl, running a classic auto restoration shop, unaware a secret destiny awaits her. One that will leap from the pages of her grandmother’s hand-painted book of fairytales. . . . . . . . . . .
Overwhelmed with opposition, Regina must decide if she’s destined to restore old cars or an ancient nation.
Regina Beswick was born to be a princess, but can she accept the challenge?
Tanner Burkhardt is the stoic Minister of Culture for the Grand Duchy of Hessenberg. When he is tasked to retrieve the long-lost princess, he must overcome his fear of failure in order to secure his nation’s future—and his own. The trust and faith that the two main characters demonstrate as Christians are amazing and carry them through many tough times. Regina and Tanner discover the truth of her heritage and the healing power of true love.
You remind me and all of us who we are as a people. I have a renewed appreciation and love for my country and my heritage. I am grateful . . . What you did today, in the midst of chaos, showed true courage and wisdom. I knew then that you are a true princess.
This is a modern day fairy tale and keeps the reader intrigued, captivated, and entertained from page one all way through to the conclusion.
God is here!
This is an awesome collection of Christian - Romance stories by Rachel Hauck. These books don't preach, but they do reflect the character's faith that reaches beyond the realm we reside in. Each story is based on a different set of characters, which include some overlapping characters and places. However, each volume is clean and wholesome, conclude with a H.E.A., and easily stand on their own. However, they are even more magical if you read the entire series!
I've rated all three with FIVE STARS! They are captivating, compelling, and fun to read! The characters are so believable and the books are long enough to allow growth and depth.
Maria and Ephraim’s romance is a fun adventure with a woman who in many ways resents the McClain family for separating her from her brother after their parents’ deaths. Although it was the state that said she was too medically fragile to take responsibility for Michael, Maria still doesn’t trust anyone at the boy’s ranch, at all. In fact, she’s opening her new nutrition shop in the nearby small town simply to be near enough to keep a sister’s eye on Michael and those who are taking care of him. So there is a bit of animosity on Maria’s part when she first meets Ephraim, and she’s not afraid to show it. Watching Maria slowly have her eyes opened to the good that the McClain family does with the foster boys is touching and at times amusing.
Ephraim knows even without his father’s announcement that Maria is his. It’s simply a knowing that he has no intention of fighting. Now he simply has to convince a mistrustful Maria that she can trust him with her heart and her brother. Ephraim’s reveal of his abilities doesn’t go quite as planned and Maria is even more unsure of the attraction she’s starting to feel for this man she shouldn’t trust.
As always the McClain family will delight with their closeness and believable personalities. I had fun with Ephraim, and if you’ve followed the series then you will, too. You don’t have to, I suppose, read the stories in order but since some things do flow from one brother’s romance to the next I’d certainly suggest that they be read in order. I’d recommend this series to any Romance reader who enjoys a fun family, some special abilities and a good solid romance every time.
I read this title through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Maria's brother has been living at the ranch ever since their parents' death. Maria isn't sure how she feels about him being fostered out to the ranch, since Michael wasn't a juvenile delinquent who needed to be "dealt* with. Once she finished her degree, she decided to set up her practice as a nutritionist where she could be close to Michael. Ephraim knew that minute he saw her that she way the one. He bonds with her service dog almost immediately, and vows to keep an eye on her to make sure she is managing her diabetes properly. Meanwhile, Hunter, one of Michael's cabin mates is in need of her services as he has been diagnosed with a lymph node distinction. Ephraim purposes, and Maria finds herself wrapped in the warmth of the big family she has always longed for.
Such a sweet and moving book - looking for a romance story with a funny twist. Very enjoyable story
Ephraim the class clown of the 7 brothers. He names each brothers wife a nick name and immediately makes them feel like part or the family, sisters. He the last one laughing when he runs into Marie. Marie lost her parents and had her brother taken away because she was diabetic and too young. She was devastated and angry. Michael her brother came to the ranch and he loves it. Surprises are in story through this story. Each book can be read a lone but in the series it ricks. Violence 0, sex0 clean romance kisses is as far as it goes.

Ephraim the fifth of seven brothers know it is his turn to marry next. He just didn't expect it to be one of the foster boys sister. Maria can't help but believe that the ranch isn't as great as everyone makes it out to be. Her brother Michael swears he is happy there. Then Maria meets Ephraim and her whole outlook changes. Sweet clean romance. Fantastic series. I just wish the books were longer. I don't want them to end.
Hero: Ephraim/animal communicator-- Heroine: Maria/ brother at the ranch Reading Enjoyment:4.5* I immensely enjoyed this love story that is filled with fun, love and intrigue.. The story progressed steadily, has well developed characters with witty/humorous dialogue and a fun developing plot. This is my favorite in the series so far. I like she didn't freak out about fate/destiny like most of the other brides did.
These books on this series only get better, you will not be disappointed.
I love how all of the authors in the the “Seven Sons Series “ blend so well. Ephraim and Maria make a sweet couple. Each bride bring their own spunk into the relationship. If you are looking for a short read that’s enjoyable you can not go wrong with “Ephraim” , if anything you will want to read the rest of the books in this series.
This book ties in with the other books quite well. I found this series a week ago. To say the least I read every story..it was hard to wait for the next book. Each son has a special gift. The family values are constant. It is great to read about the foster boys. This series also relates to Penny of the orphans book.(series)
Ephraim is the fifth installment in the Seven Sons series. This contemporary romance is about Ephraim (duh) and Maria. I love how the author ties the hero’s gift to the heroine’s life. I continue to enjoy the boys backstory development. Looking forward to the next in the series.
Ephraim has a gift, he can really talk to and understand animals. His chosen occupation is a veterinarian. Maria is the sister of one of the boys at the ranch. She has been upset since he was taken into foster care, sure that he was not being treated properly. She was in for a huge surprise. Great quick read!
This was awesomely written. What a beautiful story. Very memorable characters. Filled with love, caring and romance. I totally love this series and like Lillian, I love the movie Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. It's a clean, fast read that all can enjoy. So far I've read every story in the series and love them all.
Short and sweet. I love the Dr Doolittle brother! Wish he could help with my new dog. 😊 wish love was always as easy as it is in these books, right? Thanks to KO for another fun read.
I have really enjoyed the Seven Sons series. These brothers make for an interesting read with all their powers and the need to marry the women that is destined to be that bride.
How Kirsten Osbourne keeps coming up with new stories I have no idea. This is a great story of the fifth brother finding his wife that perfectly compliments him and another great addition to the family.
While romance is always exciting, being told your proposal didn't quite meet her expectations and to try it again was hilarious. His do over wasn't much better but was equally hilarious
Once again Kirsten Osbourne taken us into the world she created at The McClain's Boys Ranch. Such a sweet story of Ephraim and Maria discovering their love for one another. Excellent!
Maria moves to Bagley to be close to her brother. Maria and Michael were orphaned the state refused to let Maria raise her younger brother and sent him to a ranch run by seven brothers. Maria vents her anger on Ephraim who takes one look at her and falls in love.
Jasper knows things that he can only tell Ephraim.... or can he? Animal whisperer extraordinaire and a diabetic with a service animal. Brilliant! Frank is next....
