Emerald Green is book one of the Murder in Savannah series by Lindsay Marie Miller. Annie Smith attended Maple Creek High winter ball and met a young man of her dreams called Tom Sutton. At first sight, Annie Smith and Tom Sutton had to feel for each other However, someone from Annie Smith past caught up with her, and it could destroy her blossoming relationship with Tom Sutton. The readers will follow Tom and Annie to see what happens.

Emerald Green is one of the best young adult books I have read, and I enjoy it. I had not read any Lindsay Marie Miller books before Emerald Green, and I will read more of her books. Emerald Green is Lindsay Marie Miller did a fantastic job of describing her settings. I like Lindsay Marie Miller portrayal of her characters and the way they interact with each other throughout this book. Emerald Green was well written and researched by Lindsay Marie Miller. Lindsay Marie Miller description of settings allows me to fill part of the book.

The readers of Emerald Green will learn about living in Savannah. Also, Emerald Green highlights the consequences of neglect and abuse to children by family members.

I recommend this book.

Both a mystery and a romance novel, EMERALD GREEN is an exciting read that’s sprinkled with a nice amount of action. Miller’s writing style keeps readers engaged from beginning to end. I particularly appreciated the vivid descriptions presented throughout the book. They allow you to feel as though you’ve been transported into her story—so easy is it to envision Miller’s characters and their settings! Fans of drama are sure to find themselves falling in love with this book; its multiple plot twists had me frantically flipping the pages as I eagerly tried to anticipate what was to come. EMERALD GREEN contained multiple *big* reveals, none of which I foresaw—which, of course, heightened my overall enjoyment of this novel.

Emerald Green is the first book in the Murder in Savannah Series by Lindsay Marie Miller. It is a Young Adult story of first love, with mystery, drama, danger, crime and a hint of the paranormal. This is the Authors debut novel, although she has written/published quite a few books since this one was released. I had not read any of this author’s work before and after enjoying this story I am happy that I can now confidently add Ms. Miller’s compelling stories to my shelves.
This is the first book in a series and I was intrigued from the very beginning. This story has set the tone for the rest of the series, which looks set to be quite a memorable collection of books. The story does capture your imagination and gets you wondering right from the very first page. The author cleverly pulls you into the story, and gets you avidly reading, almost on the edge of the seat trying to discover where the story is heading. There were surprises and twists that keep you guessing and trying to figure the whole thing all out.
This story starts with Addie Smith dreaming about a very cute, mysterious guy who she feels a very strong connection with. Her dream felt so very vivid and real. Addie is shocked when school starts the following week and the ‘new boy’ has an uncanny resemblance to her cute dream guy. Tom Sutton is the new student in Addie’s class- his arrival heralds the beginning of quite a voyage of discovery (in more ways than one)- with revelations, danger, dark secrets, hidden agendas, and young love. I don’t want to give away too much because it would spoil the story for you. I really think you would enjoy this story far more by going in knowing as little as possible, and enjoy the story as it unfolds before you.
The thing that struck me most about this book were the character’s. I loved them right from the start. They were very endearing and had fully developed and complex personalities. The more I discovered about them, the more I liked them. It was very easy to connect with the characters and invest in them and the story.
There were a few places where the story could have been a little more polished, and moments where the flow of the story got a bit rough- but overall these issues didn’t detract too much from the story.
This story has a lot happening in it, and you will have lots of questions, which aren’t all answered in this book- the story is set to continue in the next book.
I really have a good feeling about this series and have pretty high expectations for the next book. I can’t wait.

Thank you, Ms. Miller!

Lindsay Marie Miller really sets the tone for the series, Murder in savannah, with Emerald Green. I have read several of Lindsay’s novels before but this one has a different flow to it. It is more of a young adult romance and mystery that sucks you in from page one and leaves you guessing what is to come next throughout the novel. I found myself on edge for a lot of the novel trying to figure out what was going to come next and solve the ‘mystery’. There is a little of everything in this book that it is sure to connect with multiple genera readers. You have the devious crime, mystery, coming of age first loves, and plenty of danger to pull you in.

We first meet Addie Smith, a young woman with a crush, except her crush was a handsome man that first came to her in a life-like dream. She doesn’t realize that this may have had more truth than she first assumed when she meets the new guy in her class, Tom Sutton. Right off the bat Addie recognizes the new guy, he looks just like the crush she dreamed of. This is just one of many components in the book. Things really pick up and full steam ahead when Addie receives a letter that is about a necklace. But that is all I am going to say about this mystery in hopes to not spoil this for you.

Tom is the alpha male we often find in these young adult romance novels. He has quite the personality and a history of his own. Tom wants to have a relationship with Addie and do everything he can to protect her from the obstacles that life seems to continue to throw at her. He will do whatever he can to help her solve this mystery that plagues her. Will it be enough though to keep her out of danger? Can their young and new love for each other ever have a chance of a happily ever after?

There is an antagonist in this novel as well, Ricky. Ricky is a jock that can’t seem to help himself when it comes to giving Addie a difficult time. Is this his way of telling her he likes her? Or is this just a bully out to make her life that much more difficult?

The one thing that threw me for a loop was the cliffhanger at the end of this. It just abruptly came to a halt and left me hanging. I can see where it will be a great jumping off point for the next book in the series, but still I wasn’t really excited with the ending. I will definitely be ready to read the next book as soon as possible. Overall this book had a little of everything for the avid reader and manages to keep you engaged in the story line throughout the novel until the very last page. There are parts that don’t flow all that well so between that and the crazy cliffhanger I have labeled this a four star read.

Emerald Green (Murder in Savannah, #1) by Lindsay Marie Miller was a heart pounding thrill ride that had me in knots.

This was my first book by Lindsay Miller, as with all firsts I was on my toes and held off the judgements until I was at least 30% into the book. There was for me, some confusion at the start. I wasn't sure if there was some underline paranormal things going on or not, it wasn't really explained. Even at the end, when it all came out, I'm still not so sure. There are other minor things, but I'm going to to dwell on that.

Once I got into this book, I read it in one sitting, I needed to know what happened, when that mystery stars a going there's no turning back. Addie was a fierce character that had a good head on her shoulders. I was impressed with how mature she was, but still had that childlike innocents. Now I wasn't to sold on the insta-love and there were some things glossed over to make the plot move forward, but Addie and Tom grew on me.

Tom is that alpha male type, I wasn't too keen on his quick jumps to anger, and being a little hot-headed. True he was a good person, but I felt like he didn't get as much development as Addie. A POV switch would have helped here, or even just more time for them to talk and bond.

The overall story was quite good, there were shocking plot twist, revelations and some heart stopping moments, and at the end, oh my heart, I can't even right now. Then it ends with a cliffhanger, I don't think my poor heart can take it.

This book was as I said a thrill ride, it's chalk full of sustenance, old family mysteries, love, betrayal and shocking murders. Take my high recommendation that you will get sucked into this mystery and be amazed as to where you end up on the other side.

Happy Reading

Emerald Green: A Mystery Thriller Romance (Murder in Savannah Book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller is a Young Adult story about secrets, lies and young love. This is my first story by this author and I enjoy it from beginning to end. Her writing style is creative and detailed. Her characters are just as creative and will keep you engaged until the end. This story kind of brought me back to my high school years with a jock who thinks he can do no wrong, a cute boy who is down to earth and a young girl who has a troubled home life. Together they create a story that is free flowing and has twists and turns that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat. The ending to their story will shock you and leave you hanging.

This is the story of Addie and Tom. Their story starts with Addie dreaming of Tom and then she meets him at school. Their story continues when Addie receives a letter about a mysterious necklace. Will this mysterious letter put her in danger? Will Tom come to her aid? Addie's character has not had the best of home life. She has been ignored and only recognized when she has done something wrong. But on the flip side everyone has someone who is there for them and in her case this was Daniel. I have compassion for her as she is just trying to get through life and life keeps throwing things at her. Will Tom be her hero? Is it possible that they can find their HEA? The only character I didn't care for was Ricky, the jock. He is not very nice to Addie and thinks he is every girls dream. At times it seems that he is flirting with her and other times it felt like bullying. But at least she has Tom to come to her aid and defend her with Ricky. Tom is the cute boy who seems to have it together. He is there for Addie because he wants to be. Will he continue to be there for her when she needs him? You will have to read this story in order to find out what happens with these three. I highly recommend this story as it will keep you reading until the last page. Find out what happens to Addie and the rest when lies and secrets are revealed!

Emerald Green: A Mystery Thriller Romance (Murder in Savannah Book 1). It tells the story of Addie Smith and Tom Sutton.
Addie Smith: seventeen year old student, self- reliant and independent, totally unprepared for the way in which her life is completely turned upside down. Addie is used to her parents spending most of their time at work and the harsh way her mother treats her but this has helped her to become the strong person that she is. As lies and secrets come to light leading to mystery, danger and intrigue Addie needs all the strength she can muster to escape with her life. It all begins with poisoned punch, a strange dream about a handsome young man with unique eyes and a mysterious painting of a young woman she has never seen before. Even stranger is that the handsome young man from her dream walks into her school as a new pupil. She has never seen Tom Sutton before so how could she have dreamt about him? She also needs to know what his connection to the strange painting is.
Tom Sutton: new student, incredibly handsome holds many secrets, some of them concerning Addie. They are both undeniably attracted to each other. When sinister events begin to enfold and secrets materialise Tom realises he needs to protect Addie and help her find the answers to questions she didn’t realise need to be asked. Somewhere along the way they begin to fall in love but is it too late for them? Can they have a HEA?
I really enjoyed reading Emerald Green and found it hard to put down. It contained more twists than a twisty thing! With each twist I was surprised and intrigued to read further. Each twist was credible to the plotline so it didn’t detract or send the plot off in a different direction it simply just added to it. The characters created by Lyndsay Marie Miller are realistic and likeable and as the story develops they develop more and more layers. Emerald Green moves along at a fast pace, there is always something happening. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series which I believe is coming soon. I shall look out for ‘Honey Gold’ Book Two to find out even more about Addie and Tom.

Emerald Green: A Mystery Thriller Romance (Murder in Savannah Book 1)
By: Lindsay Marie Miller
5 out of 5 stars

The story Emerald Green: A Mystery Thriller Romance (Murder in Savannah Book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller is a YA/mystery/crime/romance book. This is a story that had me hooked in the first few chapters and I didn’t want to put it down until I had read the last page. It is a story with enough mystery, thrills, secrets, and revelations that I was on the edge of my seat for just about the entire book. This is the story of Addie Smith and Tom Sutton. It is how they meet and how Tom reveals things to Addie that she never knew about herself or her past. This also begins a journey in which they continue to find out more revelations and even start to fall in love. Sometimes stories are told that have facts omitted or may contain only part of the truth. Even if it is to protect those we love this can cause hurt feelings and misunderstandings. Will Tom and Addie be able to hold on to their blossoming relationship through all the secrets and revelations? Will they find out the complete truth about their past? There are dangerous people who have their own agenda and goals. They would do whatever it takes to be successful. What happens when one of them sets their sites on Addie? This book is awesome! I loved the characters of Tom and Addie. I really felt for Addie as it seems that her parents are more interested in their work than in her. She is left alone all the time and while she has enough financially it doesn’t stop the pain of wanting her parents to be there for her when she needs them. Tom is a boy that has a mysterious past and when he talks it gets Addie frustrated that he doesn’t fully explain everything. One thing is clear however and that is that Tom is falling in love with Addie. This is the first book in a series and does end in a cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read what happens in the next story. This is the first book I have read by the author and it will not be the last. She creates stories and characters that you will not soon forget.

A good mystery!

This was my first Lindsay Miller book, and won't be my last. It's a long story, full of detail and all the drama of high school, as well as a mystery and romance.

This is the story involving Addie and Tom. A lot happens to these two, with a lot of twists and turns as the two get to know one another, as well as get involved in the mystery of an emerald necklace. Addie is independent and used to being on her own, making her seem older at times, but still very much a teenager in some of her reactions. Tom is mysterious at first, but with good looks, cooking skills, and devotion to Addie and family, he has the makings for a good hero. The romance between is slow burn, with not as much between them as I would have liked to have seen, but I blame the writing style more for that. The two interact a lot, but because of how it was narrated, with so much telling of what was done, and more describing, but without much feeling and emotion shown by Addie, it is hard to get into the feelings sometimes.

Overall, it was a good read! There was plenty of suspense and mystery throughout. The romance was always present, but not quite as satisfying due to the narration, as previously mentioned. It also takes place in high school, and the drama is definitely there, along with issues seen in high school. Just be warned that if you don't like rape or attempted rape, you should be wary of reading this one. The writing and editing were good, flowing decently and without any major grammar mistakes. More telling than I would like, and that detracted from the story for me at least. But overall, if you like a story with romance, but nothing graphic, and plenty of suspense, then I recommend this one. It's the first in a series; it could be read as standalone, though, besides a few random loose ends. But, if you liked this one, then you can consider getting the next one on the series, which is now out.

Title: Emerald Green
Author: Lindsay Marie Miller
Format: Kindle
Pages: 416
Rating: 4 stars

Emerald Green is the first book in the Murder in Savannah series, and it is also the first book by Lindsay Marie Miller that I've read. I can honestly say that I am in no way disappointed by the story that she has created. This book is honestly a satisfying read. It intrigued me from the very beginning. The dream that Addie had, the boy suddenly showing up at her school. It was a unique and interesting experience, and something that I hope travels through the rest of this series.

I originally wasn't certain what to make of Addie at first, but as the story went on I quickly fell in love with her. She is absolutely one of my favorite characters, and one of the first that I've been introduced to by Lindsay Marie Miller.

Miller's descriptions are absolutely fantastic, stunning and easily draw you into the story she has crafted. Her characters are relatable, easily pictured in your mind while you read. She transports you into the world of Addie and Tom and the drama and intrigue that surrounds them in Savannah, Georgia and Maple Creek High.

The murder mystery is definitely a good draw for this particular story, and the reveals are not what the reader would expect, and when they come they are rather large twists. The twists and turns are enough to keep the reader entertained and further draw them into this fantastic story.

Honestly, I wasn't certain how fast I would read this book, but the fact that I'd finished it in two days or maybe it was less, I don't honestly remember. It was that good, and rapid page turning (which at first confused my poor Kindle Fire) had me simply forgetting the world around me and living for the story that Lindsay Marie Miller crafted in this novel.

Did Not Finish. The book has potential, but the little bit I did read felt like it was a rough draft, not a complete book. The flow was too jumpy, the plot seemed to jump from one place to the next (where the feeling of the rough draft came in), instead of flowing smoothly. The author is good at descriptions in some areas, like the room she ended up at the dance, or the house of Tom's grandfather, etc. More explanations/details are needed in the world building as well as the plot in order for a reader to make sense of the story. There were some plot mistakes in the portion I read, that bothered me & hurt the reading experience, like one example, at the dance, why would Addie go up 3 flights of stairs to find an exit, wouldn't the exit be on the ground floor, so she should be going down -not up, to make sense? ("I turned at the end of the hallway, noticing a red EXIT sign above a door. I pushed the door open and climbed three flights of stairs, before reaching an old wooden door at the top.") The characters (Addie &Tom) were too confusing for me, all hot & cold with their attitudes, just inconsistent. I couldn't decide if they liked or hated each other. Addie, for having strange things happen to her seems flat/emotionless over each of these events. If I woke up not remembering how I got home & undressed from a dance, I'd freak out! But none of this book, at least the part I read really inspired me to care or continue reading about what happens to them or in the story.

An enjoyable mystery interwoven with a young adult high school story. A new boy, Tom Sutton, arrives at Addie's school, but he is not new to her. She recently met him in a dream. As a result, she feels connected to him and drawn to discover what is going on. She attempts to find out who he is whilst continuing her studies and trying to avoid the bully character of Ricky as much as possible. The mystery deepens when Addie recieves a strange letter about the green necklace Tom gave her in the dream. The letter unravels a thrilling plot of mystery and secrets. With truths being uncovered, which threaten everyone around her, a fabulous plot unravels alongside futher mysteries and an excellent cliffhanger.
An enjoyable read. Well developed characters. I loved the feel of Addie not belonging as it was very relatable. Tom and Daniel were perfectly written. I did feel that the bully like nature of Ricky could be a bit over the top at times, but otherwise he was well written. The very visual details of the dream and the high school around her were extremely well done. i loved the supernatural elements of the story like the necklace from the dream and the continuing use of colours throughtout such as the green detail. i did feel at times that some of the steam of consciousness nrrating (particularly for Addie) was hard to read and could be reduced. However, once the mysteries began this lessened which was better. Excellent plot.

Secrets, Revelations, Murder, Love, Mystery!!

Emerald Green is a Mystery, Thriller, Romance (Murder in Savannah Book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller is a Y/A mystery had me hooked from the start. There is mystery, thrills and revelations that kept the book in my hands until the end.

Seventeen year old Addie Smith lives in Savannah Georgia, she has a dream of an alluring boy that she never has met, but is drawn to his amazing good looks and she can’t figure out why. He is so mysterious that she knows he can’t be real. When the new semester starts they have a new classmate and suddenly he is real.

Tom Sutton is the new student and the boy from Addie dreams. How can that be? Where did he come from and how is it that she has never met this guy and to find out that he is her neighbor doesn’t make sense to Addie. Tom knows things about Addie that will change her life forever.

Tom and Addie become close and start to have feelings for eachother but when a very dangerous man from the past shows up can Addie be protected? Things of a dangerous nature become evident and secrets are revealed about Addie and who she really is can Tom protect her? Will Addie survive the storm.

Lindsay Marie Miller has written a story of mystery, murder, secrets and revelations that are so good, I couldn’t stop reading until the end! This is my first book by Lindsay Marie Miller but because of her writing style and how she weaves this story it won’t be my last!! Don’t miss this read!!

This is the first book in the Murder in Savannah series and I have high hopes for the rest of the series. Addie and Tom are complex characters and well written but since they are high school students a good portion of that is (accurate) teen angst. I got a lot of vicarious anxiety in the second half of the story but it was worth it.
One thing that particularly bugged me is the fact that Addie is clearly a smart girl, has a problem with Ricky literally assaulting her at school, has a successful lawyer for a father and still doesn’t sue that insufferable prick. The principal at the very least needed to be taken down a peg or two for favoring his bratty daughter. The thought never even occurs to her but I’m sure that would have thrown off something in the story later on.
Pretty much all of Addie’s relationships have some sort of horrible dysfunction and her parents are probably the worst offenders. I know it is important for the story that they are but I’m the kind of reader who sympathizes with characters like they are real people. I guess you could say that’s a testament to the writer’s skill.
The story ended on a huge cliffhanger and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book. I need more!!

I give Emerald Green: A Mystery Thriller Romance (Murder in Savannah, book 1) by Lindsay Marie Miller, 4 stars.

Young Adult books are always a catch for me. Some of them are too angsty for me, especially since I have not been a teenager for a long time. But still, this book looked interesting so I took the chance. Addie is a great character. She is flawed, which makes her relatable. Her parents drive her crazy, and she is picked on by the kids at school. Again, things that really do happen in all high schools.

But it is the mystery part of this book that really makes it wonderful. She learns so much, so quick, that Addie quickly gets overwhelmed. But somehow, deep down she knows it’s true. Then there is the new boy in school. He seems oddly familiar to her. It’s impossible, but there he is. And she is instantly intrigued and interested in this boy.

I do not want to give anything away, so it makes reviewing this book difficult. But I will say that you will not be disappointed. It had a lot if the high school vibe in the beginning, but this is just to build up the story. The mystery gets better and better as it goes on. And there were some twists I never saw coming. I highly recommend this book, it looks to be the beginning of a great series.

Emerald Green is the first book in Lindsay Marie Miller’s Murder in Savannah series. This is the first book I have read by this writer and I believe it will not be the last! She has a way of spinning the story so that you get lost in the world she has created and you struggle to surface as you have been feeling like living the story along with the characters.
Emerald Green is a Young Adult mystery and first love story that is filled with secrets and lies and theses amazing characters that you feel so invested in that you simply are not able to put the book down until you are at the end … How could you as there are reveals and plots and twists everywhere you turn (or turn your page) and you wish for the Happily Ever After.
There are three main characters in this story – Addie Smith, Tom Sutton and Ricky Travis at Maple Creek High in Savannah, Georgia. I am not going to tell you who is good and who is not, who is a bully and who is the knight on the white tarnished horse, the only thing I am going to tell you is that no matter what your age, if you like intricate puzzles, this is a book for you! Personally, I am looking forward to the next book in the series and I am curious to see where the writer will take us this time!

Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is the first book in the Murder In Savannah series. It is a Young Adult story that deals with first love along with murder, mystery and suspense.
I was a bit confused at the beginning of this book and was unsure if there was a paranormal element to it. At this point I was a bit sceptical if I was going to enjoy this book. Thankfully I kept going and didn’t give in. As the story grew and the characters became more developed I really got into this book and was gripped to the storyline. The characters are very well written and the story flows well. The two main characters Addie and Tom are fantastic, although there are many occasions when I’d love to give Tom a massive kick up the butt. He’s such a stroppy teenager. The ‘baddies’ in the story are also so well written. Ricky was an arrogant sod, whereas Tony and Hugh are so evil you hate them with a passion. I’ve mentioned before in reviews of other books that for me, one of the defining characteristics of a great book are just how much you hate the bad guys.
The murder, mystery and suspense make this book a compelling read and I’m so looking forward to reading Honey Gold, the second book in this series. I’m also really intrigued to see the blossoming romance between Addie and Tom develop.

I did enjoy this book although I found it rather confusing to start with, trying to sort out the different characters and their relationships. Once you have the characters sorted out the story really starts to flow. The two main characters Tom and Addie are coincidentally both adopted, and Tom has been been admiring Addie from a distance since they were small children. Addie was adopted by a lawyer and doctor, who spend more time at work than being parents, Tom by a man Daniel, who by contrast to Addies adoptive parents spends his time doing all he can to ensure Tom has a secure future. Daniel has a painting of a women who bears an uncanny resemblance to Addie, so when Tom and Addie finally meet at school and they start to have a relationship, Tom takes her home to meet Daniel and Addie starts to learn the truth about her past. But that past brings with it dangers. Dangers that will mean people may die if Addie doesn't find and hand over an old family heirloom. The web of relationships gets more complex as the book goes on, and Addie starts to doubt Tom and for good reason. But what is the truth behind this complex web that has been woven? Can Tom and Addie survive this? I'm looking forward to reading book two in this series and seeing how these characters develop.

Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is the first book in the Murder in Savannah Series, and it happens to be my first book from the author, and I was not disappointed! This author is incredibly talented and was able to spin a creative web and develop characters and a story line that will have you turning the pages faster than you can read them. This is all about young love, lies and secrets and the drama they cause. This was an amazing five star read!

Emerald Green starts with Addie dreaming of a young man who she feels incredibly drawn too, only she doesn't know who he is. Fast forward a few days and it's time to start the spring semester, there's a new guy on the scene, Tom Sutton, who happens to look a lot like the young man from Addie's dream. She can't help but feel drawn to him and feel an unwavering connection. But what happens when someone gives Addie something that could put her in danger? Will Tom be able to help her? What happens when a cold blooded criminal returns to Savannah? Will Tom and Addie's young love be able to survive?

This book was SO good! I can't wait to see what happens next in the series!!

Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller was a teen fiction with a difference. A mystery with a hint of supernatural which reminded me at times of the atmosphere I felt reading the Twilight novels.
Set in a high school, the story centres around 17 year old Addie, who has been pursued and teased by Ricky for years but he is not her type. When the mysterious lookalike Tom arrives at school she finds the only similarity to Ricky is physical. Tom is caring where Ricky is brash. Addie gets to know Tom and his grandfather she gets drawn into a decades old mystery which she wants to solve.
I enjoyed this book. It was easy to read and had a haunting atmosphere to it, which kept me turning the pages. I liked the descriptions of the normal small town high school and the interaction between Addie and her friends. The minor characters were interesting but I was not sure why Jeanine was suddenly interested in Addie and wanted to befriend her.
Descriptions of Savannah and the mysterious grounds of Addie’s and Tom’s grandfather’s house were lovely and I could imagine myself there despite never having visited. Overall an entertaining read. 4 stars.

If you like YA reads, then this is a great read for you. Emerald Green (Murder in Savannah #1) is from author Lindsay Marie Miller and tells the story of seventeen year old Addie Smith, a high school junior living in a small town. Her life revolves around typical high school activities like going to homecoming and trying to ignore the annoying boy who lives for tormenting her. When a new student arrives, Tom Sutton, Addie feels an immediate draw to him. He quite literally is the boy of her dreams. After something happens to her at the homecoming dance, Addie has a vision of a handsome stranger helping her. Now this stranger is at her school and the mystery begins. There is something hidden in Addie’s past that someone wants. Now she must confront her past as a killer comes to town to claim a possession Addie must find.

I liked the development of the characters and the way they shaped into a young love story. It is refreshing sometimes to read a story that doesn’t involve angsty teenage drama. It kept me intrigued and wanting more. Thank you Lindsey Marie Miller for the beginning of what is bound to be a really good series.

This is a great young adult story. A little romance, lots of mystery. No adult supervision anywhere in the story. The main characters are typical high school students just trying to finish school and figure out life.

The relationships in this story are wishy washy. Tom and Addie say they love each other but as soon as they disagree with each other, one of them walks away. It’s hard to remember that they are not even adults, yet they are trying to have adult relationships. They have to deal with kidnappings, violence and murder, with no one to guide them in the ways of life. Even the parent/child relationship is strange throughout this story.

Emerald Green includes several characters, many of which seem to lie, causing Tom and Addie to have trust issues. However, this does help the two learn to trust each other. One lesson learned in this story is that not everything is as it seems.

Good story line. I would like to see what happens in this series. I wonder if Addie and Tom can figure out Daniel’s secrets or if knowing will cause even more trouble. I can easily recommend this story.

Emerald Green (Murder in Savannah #1)
By Lindsay Marie Miller
4 Stars

The story Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is the first installment of the Murder in Savannah series. This is the story of Addie Smith and Tom Sutton, it is a young adult, mystery, crime, and romance book . After both Addie and Tom meet, Addie learns from Tom things that she never knew about herself and her past. As more revelations begin to surface, the romance between the two begins to grow. Through the revelations, many secrets and lies come to light. Will these revelations break Tom and Addie apart and make their relationship stronger? Will they both find out the truth about their past? Someone dangerous is out with a hidden agenda and they have their eyes set on Addie? Lindsay Marie Miller wrote an intriguing story that will suck you in from the beginning and won’t let you put down this book until you are done. The characters are realistic and deal with difficult situations in their lives at a young age. I look forward to reading the second book in the series, as the story continues from book one.

Emerald Green by Lindsay Marie Miller is the first story in the Murder in Savannah series, this book is a mix of mystery and romance in one story.

Addie Smith is a young woman who had a vivid dream one night and the next day she is looking straight in the eye of the dream guy. Tom Sutton has moved to Savannah and is just getting used to a new school when he meets Addie and their relationship gets intense.

This story is full of suspense and intrigue with a mystery letter regarding a necklace and the roller coaster ride of emotion and mystery. Addie's character is a strong female and the way she weaves within the story is brilliant, Tom on the other hand was your typical alpha male who was a bit judgemental at times but overall they did compliment each other.

The mystery side of the story had me engrossed and although this is not the first book I have read by Lindsay this story had me turning the pages to complete the book in one sitting. The characters are always rich of flaws and always written so believable that you feel like you are in the story with them.

As always I can not wait to read the next book in this wonderful series.

Emerald Green is an intriguing look into family. This five star read is one you’ll have to pay close attention to. It had a complex plot with complex, well thought out characters.
I really loved the descriptions of the scenery. I really believed I was in the old south. The descriptions were thorough and intricately thought out and executed. It seems that Lindsay Marie Miller has either spent a lot of time in Georgia or has spent a lot of time researching Georgia or both.
Her plot was very complicated I had a little trouble following where her characters were, but that could have been a lack of sleep on my part. I really think this is one of those rare stories that need a second read through. Fortunately, it is interesting enough to warrant a second read.
I really loved the intricacies of this book. The plot, the scenery, and the characters were well thought out. I love the descriptions. I thought the teenage angst was really spot on. I remember that!!
All in all, I really felt this was a definite five star read!!

Emerald Green is the first book in the Murder in Savannah series by Lindsay Marie Miller which is a mystery thriller romance. This was my first book by Lindsay and it was good. I became intrigued after reading the synopsis and knowing it was based out of Savannah, Georgia as we live close to there. This book was very well written and was interesting along with captivating.
Addie dreams of a mysterious boy, who she believes is the new kid in her class Tom. Addie has a hard time at school with the bullies always picking on her. She feels drawn to Tom after her dream and finds comfort in him. However Tom Sutton has a dark family past that he starts to share with Addie. They have so much history it became intriguing to read
This story was an awesome read and I am glad that I was able to read it. I loved the way the book flowed and I couldn’t put it down. The mystery was great to read however I feel she could have added more to it. I personally can’t wait to read book 2 and I recommend this book it’s a great read!

When you find a book that can keep you in the edge of your seat throughout the story you know it's rare and Lindsay Marie Miller gave us that and a whole lot more with Emerald Green.

When Addie sees the boy from her dreams in her class at school she really doesn't understand what's going on with her life but the more time she spends with Tom the more she learns things from her families history that not only scares her but intrigues her curious mind. When the journey to the truth begins she thinks she knows exactly who she can trust only to find out everyone has been lying at some point. But through it all her feelings for Tom only intensify the have a pure love that is until Tom finds out Addie has been telling some lies of her own!

A fabulous mystery romance that's pulls you into every little details of story the way Lindsay Marie Miller takes us along the winding road of the characters journey left me wanting more. Just when you think you know what's happening something completely blindsides you!

What an incredible read Emerald Green was. It was one of the most enjoyable y/a mystery romance books I have read in a really long time. Lindsay Marie Miller is a new author to me, but I am going to be reading a lot more of her work. It was such a refreshing change to the usual heavy partying, heavy sex scened stories that are about lately. Not that i don't adore those books. It is just really nice to read a book with a different storyline.

The characters in Emerald Green were a true delight to get to know. I love Addie and her shy and quiet personality. Her innocence is evident, as is her spitfire tenacity under all that youth. Tom is a liitle more of a mystery and there was a lot more to him than I first thought. But he was still a guy and had all those guy traits that attract us but annoy us.

Emerald Green was mysterious, thrilling, innocent, and extremely busy. There were constant twists to the story and kept me thoroughly enthralled from the very start. It was exciting at every turn of the page. A fabulous read that i highly recommend. 5 stars

A brilliantly written book with big moments that keep you gripped all the way through!

I loved the writing stay of this book and the story was so intricate and intriguing. It was a good ride from start to finish. Even though two of the main characters are still I high school, I found myself forgetting that until there was an actual scene in the school as they were very mature and portrayed quite realistically.

If you are looking for something that is not predictable and keeps your interest peaked, this is the book to read. The story is great and it all creates such a encompassing, real and almost eerie atmosphere to settle into. I found that it had an almost supernatural feel even though that is not part of the story but it worked and I loved it. It has romance, murder, betrayal and much, much more.

It's ends on a cliffhanger which both excited and killed me! I'm looking forward to reading the next one and anything else by this author as the style is so good and the plot is quite clever and different.
