Yael
Why does a spider make webs? Simple, to catch its prey and I will catch mine. I will take back what I lost because it was never theirs to take in the first place. I won’t rest until everything is set exactly how I need it to be set, but I didn’t realize I got caught in my own web...until it was too late.

Joaquin
I didn’t ask for this, but now that she’s here...she isn’t going anywhere. When you’re mine, you’ll forever be mine.

AWESOME

I love these two. This book started off with a bang and ended the same way. The Chemistry with Yael and Quinn was loving at times, funny at others. And the way his Father did to his Mother all because she wanted to help a family in need. ( I wished he was alive so Joaquin could kill him. I also love the scene when she text him about his best friend and so called fiance..EXPLOSIVE ( Especially when he shot their ass.THANKS Elisabeth for that). Elisabeth you have outdone yourself with this Short story ( I now you are going to make a sequel 🤔🤔🤔😘). Thanks for a wonderful ride

A web of lies can bring one find love

Yael was determined to clear up her father's name but she was not expecting to find love. This story was about how plans can unexpectedly go array. One can plan as hard as one can with the best laid plans on mice and men
and still have the unexpected to happen. Joaquin, on the other hand had his entire life turned upside down with the revelations courtesy of Yael. As much as Yael tried to fight her feelings for Joaquin, she melted right into him when he came looking for her and found her. He felt that she was always his and he was coming to get his baby back.

This was a quick easy read romance with a little bit of drama included.

Good Stuff

Okay now I'm not going to say that I didn't enjoy this story because I would be lying. This was just one sexy story with everything working for it in double digits. My problem is that the writer drops us right into the middle of the story, when I started read I g I kept wondering if something was missing or if I had somehow skipped sections. This would rate five stars only if you get the beginning and it doesn't have to go too the very beginning just when the plan goes into action. This was a good job but I'm a little disappointed you don't get more.

I love it!!

This is one of the sweetest short book , (well not really that short) I ever read. I truly enjoyed it. Joaquin is one hell of a hardass alpha male, can't believed what he did to his best friend and fake fiancée. That was in a sick way hilarious!:) And the babies!... The only thing that wanted to know: who the babies looked like? Did Joaquin resign his mayorship's position?

Great book!!!!

So not only was the story intriguing but the fact that Joaquin was the Mayor or Arkansas had me in even more hooked. It's not everyday you read a book about your hometown. Anyway, I loved how these two were brought together through an intricate situation. Characters were well developed and the author did an amazing job with the pace. Great wring style and easy flow to read.

Web of lies

Cute, short, and to the point. This book wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite. For Yael's motivation to shrivel so quickly after plotting for ten years to get revenge kinda made me roll my eyes. Nevertheless, the story was different and the surprise at the end was cute!

Sweet revenge

Elisabeth, you hit this one out of the park! I always look forward to reading your books. I was hooked from the first page.... A thrilling story about how a web of lies can destroy a family and the lengths a person would take to punish the transgressors. Yael was my hero! Brown Girl Magic! This is a dark romance. Will Jaime have his own story?

Interesting

I liked the story but I think the author should have given us more in the climax if the story. Like how more about how he felt when he found out she had done. The backlash as well.

Wow

Great story. Loved it. This was a different read for me. Yael truly loved her father. Glad she succeeded in bringing the truth to light. Joaquin found his true love. Thanks to the author for sharing.

Great Read!!

I was so in love with this character Quin was just the right amount of crazy for me. But he had this dangerous vibe that made me want to never end this book. Yael was crazy to think she could hide or run from him.

Loved it (Spoiler)

Loved it. Only thing I didn’t understand is why he killed his fake fiancé and best friend for sleeping with each other when he was a known cheater. Other than that great read

So Fricking Good

Oh my goodness, this is a darn good read! This novella had more suspense and intrigue than a full length novel. Yael was no whimpering and whining woman. She did her thing. Joaquin was no joke people. Wow!

Revenge

I enjoyed reading this book. It was a pretty quick read. There was enough character and plot development to keep me engaged. Joaquin and Yael's relationship was quite volatile. Revenge is not always sweet.

Unanswered Questions???

I enjoyed this story, but I had a few questions. Did she move back to his hometown? Did he remain the mayor? And if not, exactly what was he doing???? Enquiring minds want to know

Betrayed

Great Book. I just hate what happened to her father but that is the only way true love would have been found.

Okay

Even though the story's purpose was known, it still felt like something was missing. The characters were okay but needed more development as well as their relationship.

Good short

Revenge hurts everyone. You felt for Yael and felt her hurt and need. The choices of all the characters was suspect.
