No Such Thing as a Bad Kid: Understanding and Responding to Kids with Emotional & Behavioral Challenges Using a Positive, Strength-Based Approach

Rate this book
A long-awaited book that turns positive psychological rhetoric in the realm of youth care into practical reality. It is written for professionals and teachers who guide kids with emotional and behavioral challenges; the theories and tools it presents also work for parents. This revised, updated, and much-expanded version of Charles Appelstein’s 1998 classic contains 500 pages of positive, strength-based theories, techniques, and applications. It’s richly illustrated with diagrams, charts, actual dialogues, and extensively documented cutting-edge research in neuroscience.

Super helpful. Tons of examples and specific dialogue which makes it practical. Useful for everyone, not just kids with behavior problems.
