57 books299 followersMelissa A. Craven (the "A" stands for Ann—in case you were wondering) was born near Atlanta, Georgia, but moved to Cleveland, Ohio at the age of seventeen. She still thinks of Cleveland as home, so it was only natural for Emerge to take place there.
Today, she is back in Atlanta—for some reason she can't seem to stay away from the ungodly heat that makes her long for things like "lake effect snow" and wind that will knock you flat.
Melissa decided a long time ago that the “life checklist” everyone else was clutching so tightly in their fists, just wasn’t for her. She does everything backwards because she is weird like that, but then, she is an artist and artists are notoriously "unique" and "quirky."
She is an avid student of art and design, and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of West Georgia in 2009. She worked as an interior designer for several years, but she's always thought she might like to be a writer when she grows up.
In her spare time, if she has any, she enjoys shopping for derelict furniture she refinishes to exercise the interior design part of her brain.

What a powerful book! I had no idea I would be reading such an intriguing, wonderful story with so much action in it. I love the way each “immortal” had their own story to tell, explaining just how everything would culminate to such a fantastic story. It really draws you into each individual life with so much detail, you feel like you are a part of their lives.
I very highly recommend this book to all readers!!

Very nice
This is a very complex world build. Enormously detailed with many important characters. A lot of action and character growth. This collection is the best way to read this series as it would be very difficult to get all of the pieces together otherwise. Th only thing I found tiring was the amount of pounding these kids are put through. That's not my favorite plot device. But I did enjoy the series and look forward to more books.

Great supernatural/urban fantasy series
I really enjoyed reading this series. It is a unique story that is thrilling at times and enforces the idea of love on many levels (friendship, familial, romantic, etc). I would recommend this set to readers interested in supernatural gifts.

May 1, 2018These are the best books 📚 in the world. I truly enjoy every one of the books. It was confusing at first,but once I figure it out the 📚 it just flowed. I like how they bought in each character and explain their gifts. I also like they explain how they go back how the family is all are content . I can’t wait for the next book.
