In this version of Snow White, The Queen who tries to kill Snow White because of her beauty is jealous and attempts to kill her several times before giving her the poisonous apple. Thinking she is dead, the Queen is very happy. Until a Prince finds Snow White and lifts her from the glass case where the apple falls out of her mouth and Snow White lives.

This would be a good book for the classroom to have the students make inferences and predict what the Queen would do next in her attempt to kill Snow White. This book could also be used for a comparison that is done with multiple versions of the tale of Snow White. The students could then do a Venn diagram with similarities and differences of each book.

This fairy tale features such elements as the magic mirror, the poisoned apple, the glass coffin, and the characters of the evil queen and the Seven Dwarfs. This classic story is about Snow White, as she takes refuge in the forest in the house of seven dwarfs to hide from her stepmother, the wicked Queen. The Queen is jealous because she wants to be known as "the fairest in the land," and Snow White's beauty surpasses her own.

This story is different than the original. The evil queen is not ugly right away she is actually beautiful. But when she finds out snow white is the fairest she tried three different attempts before the last one being the apple. Snow white is still saved by the prince in the end.

This would also be another book for book boxes and my advanced readers. Independently reading this story would be the best way for me to use this for educational reasons.

Snow White is the original traditional literature story of a young girl that is very innocent and naive. She lives in a small cottage where seven dwarfs take care of her. Upon being poisoned by the queen, she died. However, she was brought back by a prince's kiss.

Traditional Lit #6

Snow White is about a girl who gets lost in a forest and ends up finding a house with seven dwarfs. The dwarfs take care of her and treat her exceptionally well. The Queen in the land, who sentenced for Snow White to be killed, found out that she was still alive and did everything she could to kill her. Eventually, she poisoned her with an apple and was only able to be awakened by the kiss of a Prince.

In this version of Snow White the evil queen tries to kill Snow White several times before using the red apple. The story still has the magic mirror, the seven dwarfs, and the huntsmen. The queen ends up putting Snow White to sleep with the apple and the Prince comes to save her with a kiss!

Snow White is the icon of bad luck when it comes to trusting little old ladies. Each time the Evil Queen tries to kill Snow White the Dwarves save her by reversing the spell. I enjoyed this story, and it was nice to be able to read it again.
