Woman, Goddess & Savior presents a new and modern path of self-realization for women who feel in their hearts the call of Spirit. However, for the past several millennia, schools of spiritual instruction were designed solely by men for men. Only in the last century have women been allowed to participate in large numbers in spiritual advancement. So much so, that in Western nations the majority of spiritual practitioners today are now women. While the methods employed by various schools can vary greatly, almost all of them contain a great gender bias, since their traditional methods were originally developed to meet the needs of exclusively male students. Their curricula are definitely not gender-neutral; however, that bias is not recognized by many spiritual teachers. The book is divided into three parts. First, the author discusses whether someone should begin the spiritual journey and whether they are truly ready to work with a teacher. Part II covers what enlightenment means and how this path goes about that process. It discusses spiritual awakening in a very simple and non-mysterious way. By the end of Part II, the reader should have a very clear understanding about enlightenment and how it can be realized by ordinary women via the methods described. Part III discusses why it is crucial for the fate of humanity that many women awaken to their divine potential. It posits that the true root cause of the myriad of problems facing humanity today stems from the long-running system of male supremacy, and further, that those problems will not be solved until the world restores gender balance by empowering and honoring the feminine. The message of Part III reflects the spirit of the Dalai Lama’s “the world will be saved by the Western woman.” The goal of Woman, Goddess & Savior is to encourage all women to proudly embrace their feminine in a world that seems, in contrast, to demand that they become more masculine.
