College senior and ocelot shifter Beck Prescott is home for the holidays, but there's only one present he wants to find under his tree -- his sexy neighbor, Chris Wilcox. Even though the wolf shifter is older than Beck, Beck knows they're destined to be together. Getting Chris to agree is another matter, but Christmas is the time for miracles, and Beck thinks this is the year he may get his fondest wish. A mate.
Fun, sweet, and practically drama-free, this story about two shifters finding their mate in each other contains lots of Christmas cheer, family events, and more than one scene of passion in the bedroom. Not much is made of the difference in shifter nature between ocelot shifter Beck and wolf shifter Christian, in fact, no shifting goes on at all. The title is pretty funny because Chris is short for “Christmas Noel”, a name his Christmas-enthusiastic mother picked for him, and “Chasing Christmas” is pretty much what Beck is up to, so it’s a pretty good indication of the story’s mood.
