Rate this book
A business arrangement between two professionals… he just happens to be tall, dark and handsome. And wants her. Can they compromise or will she risk being compromised?
Natasha Watts finds her life in tatters mere weeks after her world collides with Matthew Faulkner’s. He’s handsome and arrogant — and rich. Every woman’s fantasy. Every woman, that is, except for Natasha.
Fiercely independent, Natasha knows better than to mix business with pleasure. But, faced with losing her home she’s forced to consider Matthew’s offer. To act as one of his many girlfriends at the professional events he’s obliged to attend.
Natasha vows to keep the work strictly professional — but nothing can prepare her for the sparks that fly whenever they’re together.
When Natasha wants more than he’s offering there’s just one problem — the other women, including her best friend, Sophia.
Is there any hope of a relationship with a notorious womanizer? Or is she willing to compromise, and risk being compromised. And if she does? What will be left when it’s all over?

When two best friends, Sophia Riley and Natasha Watts, get together, it means nothing but trouble. On a girls night out, Sophia's mouth gets them into trouble once again. This time, it involves hunky millionaire Matthew Faulkner.

The girls get themselves into some financial trouble and the only way for them to remain solvent is to work for Matthew. Hunky Matthew is the most sort after womanizing bachelor in town. His relationships are all based upon agreements, contractual agreements. *wink wink* Matthew has mommy issues and this leads him to foster the need for control over everything and everyone. He's also a very private individual and knows how to sniff out a gold digger. As much as it's annoying, his alpha male persona is invigorating and sexy as hell!

Matthew and the girls, have an agreement for six months. They become his escorts for the duration of the contract and he provides for their every need. All under a confidentiality clause, of course. When Matthew first saw Natasha, their first meeting was fierce and wordy. Matthew's dominance stood out to Natasha and there was definitely something that drew then both to each other. He was dangerous and she was the one woman that didn't want him. Talk about a match made in heaven... or maybe hell.

While Matthew is cool and calm around Sophia, he is anything but subdued when it comes to Natasha, This fiercely independent woman, gets his blood boiling and yet all he wants to do is devour those luscious lips of hers. The woman is infuriating. She's defiant and stubborn. Everything Matthew is drawn to. His collected demeanor evaporates around Natasha.

As their contractual days continue on, Matthew and Natasha's attraction becomes stronger, until their unbridled passion lets loose, turning desire into physical and emotional turmoil. As their time spent together becomes more than duty; jealousy, position and insecurities both threaten to tear them apart; for good.

***I loved this story. Alpha male millionaire meets working class, down on her luck Natasha Watts. Fierce and sweet, endearing and so lovable. My only hiccups (2) was that an epilogue was needed. I felt that the ending was abrupt, and without an epilogue, it seemed unfinished. Also, the beginning chapters were slow, and dragged. I struggled to get through the first two chapters, and this is a make or break for any book I believe. Getting past those obstacles. It was a perfect read. Well developed characters, perfect best friend, and enigmatic alpha male. *sigh* I fell in love with Matthew before his part was introduced into the book.***

I do love this Indie author... she has a very nice writing style and she knows how to write characters who are flawed but at the same time likable. Sophie and Natasha have been lifelong friends. Sophie has decided it's time to walk out on her failing marriage and Natasha, well... at age 32 she is starting to give up on finding that special someone.
Both of these ladies find themselves in a jobless predicament and are offered an opportunity to go into a contract with the very wealthy Matthew Faulkner. He likes to keep a lady on his arms to help keep away the many women who stalk him on a regular basis. This is not a sexual arrangement but rather a sort of friends only arrangement with the only requirement being they must be available 24/7 for his beck and call. Easy money right?? :) Natasha hesitantly agrees to go into the contract for the sake of her friend Sophie. She is not a fan of Mr. Arrogant and Bossy... or so she thinks!
The story that develops from that point forward is a frustrating one for Matthew and Natasha. She's not very good at complying to his rules and neither of them are so good at keeping their intense physical attraction for each other at bay. What started as a simple business plan, quickly gets all murky and complicated when real emotions get involved. Contracts are all well and good for the sake of business but they aren't very useful when it comes to matters of the heart! Sometimes you just need more... trust, commitment and taking a chance on someone takes a lot of risk. Will Matthew be able to take that chance?? You'll have to read to find out...
The story got off to a bit of a slow start but when it picked up I found myself fully absorbed and turning the pages. And other than a little bit of a rushed ending... I really liked how everything pulled together.
Another great story by this author... and I'm looking forward to more. :)

Many thanks to the author for the complimentary ARC!

Natasha finds her self between a rock and a hard spot, when she abruptly loses her job from the bar she manages.
Now jobless, she and her best friend Sofia decide to sign a sixth month contract to be arm candy for the rich and sexy, but arrogant and demanding Matthew Faulkner.
Can Tasha survive the six months without losing her mind, or will she bring both her and Sophia down with a breech of contract?

I have to say this book was nothing like a expected.
The writing was well done and entertaining.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Look forward to reading more by the author.

I received this ARC in exchange for a view from Netgalley. What a refreshing story. Take 2 girls who are besties but one is the taker and the other the giver and throw in my sexy man who knows what he wants. The two girls are down on their luck and after an encounter with Matthew they find themselves as his "escorts". Natasha and Matthew have tons of sexy tension that boils over. The story had a great flow to it and the story was really hot and sexy but not over the top. I will be back to read some of her others one of my best reads so far this year

So i kindly received a hard copy of this from Ms Hart herself in exchange for an honest review. I ALSO bought the kindle version as well because I forgot the book at home and NEEDED to finish reading it on my lunch break so....yea i LOVED it. On a side note: I'm sorry it took so long for this review to go up. I've had it saved forever and because of the computer problems I was having never posted it.

First things first!!!! The COVER!!! IS PERFECT!! Once you get into the story it isn't long before you realize that the cover goes along with the story completely and in a very big way. I LOVE THAT. Second...please have someone on standby to fan you off or hose you down when you get to the nitty gritty. Matthew Faulkner is a control freak and sometimes i find myself wanting to just irritate him on purpose BUT Natasha does a fine job of that. Now NORMALLY i find that the female lead happens to acquiesce to most of what the control freak wants. She just bows her head and complies however Natasha is different. She is ballsy, doesn't mind working hard for her bread, and is loyal to herself. I think this is so very important with a character or even a person. Loyalty to one's self. I love Natasha for that. She doesn't give up her band tees for this obviously powerful and controlling man. She doesn't lose herself or get lost in this man. Yes every once in awhile she’s losing some sense but I mean we are talking about Matthew Fucking Faulkner here. He practically owns all of London and France with his bars. He is our typical "Cinderella", rags to riches story BUT even after clawing his way from the bottom he is still a bit twisted. Together though these two are like the perfect cocktail; sexy, intoxicating, sometimes overwhelming and addicting.

I could not put Compromise Agreement down (which kind of sucked because it meant I didn't get much sleep last night)! I must admit I was expecting something kind of dark, but I'm glad that it wasn't. I thought the author handled this book perfectly.

First, I liked the friendship dynamic represented between Natasha and Sophia. Sophia was a little selfish and Natasha wasn't above being a little bit mean when her friend was getting on her nerves. I've rarely seen authors write friendships that aren't perfectly supportive. While those perfect friendships do exist, I feel like a good number of us have friends with flaws who sometimes get on our nerves, but that we still love unconditionally.

I loved how spunky and hardworking Natasha was. She stood up for herself and wasn't afraid to put someone in their place. She also wasn't afraid to work to survive. While Sophia was essentially looking for someone to take care of her, Natasha was trying to take care of herself.

As strange is it may sound, I enjoyed how Matthew was slightly petulant when he didn't get his way. I think it was more so because the reason he wasn't getting his way was because Natasha was strong enough to tell him no.

What I think I enjoyed most was how oblivious Matthew and Natasha were to how they felt about each other. It created a lot of tension...very, very good tension.

I'm definitely an Isobel Hart fan and can't wait to see what she does next!

I loved it! I liked the writing and I loved both main characters. At first from reading the blurb I thought this would be weird since its two best friends being contracted as escorts for the same insanely hot rich man and I was kinda put off from that. I was thinking 'is this a menage'? Because yeah, that's not my cup of tea. But thankfully it was nothing like I was thinking! I loved Tash and her Bestfriend Sophia and of course Matthew was smoking and I mean wowwzzza! And though they are escorts for Matthew there is nothing sexual about it- at least between him and Sophia. It's known from the beginning he had eyes only for Tasha. I haven't read an alpha male as intense and protective and territorial and possessive as Matthew in a long time and I LOVED IT! He was a total womanizer and the biggest prick to boot- but ya know what, I loved him regardless, I guess I like the assholes. ;)

My only complaint is we never really actually get to know Matthew, I'm hoping this is because there is going to be a book two. :) And there better be a book two! This does not end in a cliffhanger but it still leaves a lot unresolved.

Overall I liked this story! If your a fifty fan then you'll love this. It wasn't the best thing I've read but it was still good and I couldn't put it down. There's some angst, little drama, love-hate relationship, jealousy, and hot sex scenes.

Mathew wants Natasha so he makes it so she’s out of a job and practically forced to sign a 6 month initial but extendable contract to be his non sexual escort to business functions—along with her bff Sophia. He makes Natasha jealous a lot. She doesn’t like him but Married but separated Sophia thinks he’s nice. Enemies to lovers—->hea

Compromise Agreement is the first book I have read by this author, Isobel Hart contacted me and asked if I would be interested in being gifted a copy to read for Gemma Reads Too Much, of course I said yes so here are my thoughts.

The blurb for this book doesn’t give a lot away but I was intrigued enough to want to give it a go. I get given a LOT of free books and they are not always great, in fact some of them are downright awful.

Thank god that this isn’t one of those time, this book is great!!!

This book is well written and easy to read, and apart from Sophia I really liked all of the characters. Natasha is all attitude and snark, I adored her she is so incredibly normal that I instantly related to her and even saw a bit of myself in her sarcastic barbs.

Matthew is the perfect combination of ice and heat, I kind of fell in love with both the hard alpha asshole side and the sexy, smouldering lover side. I think his attraction to Natasha was obvious from the first second but I still loved anticipation of waiting for him to reel her in.

I feel like Matthew is a marmite character you will either fall for his domineering charm or you will feel like he’s an egotistical pig, either way he’s sure to provoke a reaction.

I need to rant about Sophia for a moment…. I hated her, she really wound me up and I’m not really sure why. Yes she’s vapid and shallow, yes she’s is a bit of a gold digging cow. But to be honest I don’t think that’s why I didn’t like her, I just found her infuriating and a really bad friend!!! Natasha seems like she loves and values Sophia’s friendship but I just always felt like Sophia was using her.

This is not a cheesy romance, it’s much better than that. Obviously Natasha and Matthew have some serious chemistry but they also have an intense connection that isn’t hearts and flowers and for me that’s actually more romantic. Even the ending was not your typical happily ever after, more of a spending the rest of their lives driving each other insane and loving every minute of it.

I loved that this book was set in London, I’m a Brit and I read soooo many American books that I sometimes forget that there are books based here in the UK lol.

I LOVE smutty books, so I always have to comment about the sex scenes in a book!!! The sex in this book is hot, I love that Matthew takes charge (I am all about a man in charge!!!) but there isn’t a submissive bone in Natasha body. Every time they touch they seem to explode with passion and the sex scenes really did reflect that. This book doesn’t go into squelching, squirting detail thank god but there is enough detail to get you hot under the collar!!! And it was SEXY, since fsog so many books just have sex, sex and more sex but forget that it needs to be sensual and not just explicit porn!!

I really enjoyed this book and id definitely be up for reading more of this authors work in the future.

Compromise Agreement is a great quick read, perfect for the beach or just with a glass of wine.

This book gets 4 stars from me.

You know that awful feeling you get when you finish a good book and you think Oh My God what am I going to do with myself now? Or Oh My God back to reality?
Well when you read this book you will feel the above. Soul crushing when you read The End, well it is for me, the oh my god I didn't do my ironing and housework for the last few days because I have been stuck in the world of Natasha, Matthew and Sophia.

This book doesn't disappoint at all it has romance, love, jealousy and fire also tears.

Sophia ends her marriage with Mike and decides that herself and Natasha need to bag themselves a rich man to take care of them. However Sophia gets them both into a pickle, luckily for both of them it turns out ok.

They meet the wonderful rich, dark, tall, handsome, mean in bed Matthew Faulker who has is sights set on setting up a contract for "companionship" with both ladies.
Natasha is against this as she sees it as "whoring" herself out.

As time goes on life has turned and made Natasha sign herself over to Matthew and as a turn of events sparks fly.

I am totally in love with these characters, they jump out the page at you from page 1.

Thank you again Mrs Isobel Hart for another amazing read. Well worth the wait xxx

**I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**
Sophia's best is Natasha Watts since primary School. Sophia was 25 when her boyfriend Mike proposed. She married him but left him eventually because she was tired of struggling. Natasha was a manager of a bar. Natasha found it was easier to go along with Sophia's plans rather than try to change her mind. They went to an upscale place named Alfies. They met Todd and Andrew who were stockbrokers. Sophia works at a boutique and she had listened to some gossip about Matthew Faulkner and found out he had some contracted arrangements with women. Matthew Faulkner owns a lot of upscale restaurants, bars, and clubs. Andrew texts Natasha and tells her he and Todd want to take her and Sophia to Octopus, a top restaurant in town. Mark Faulkner goes to their table and lets it be known that Todd is married and has a newborn. Natasha loses her job due to the bar selling.
This was a really good book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I recommend it to anyone.

The beginning was a little slow, but worth the it in the long run. I was enthralled with the story line and the characters were rough at first, but they grew on you. This is a unique take on the dom/sub genre and the author did a great job with the execution.

This was a great read with love-able characters that you can’t help but root for. Great paced, engaging and complete with steamy scenes. I really wanted the main characters Matthew and Natasha to end up together. Do they? You’ll have to read it to find out.
