Bartender Keegan Rivers, full-time college student, takes an Alaska cruise to enjoy the scenery and see her sister. She leaves behind the hurt created by her ex-boyfriend from Charlotte, North Carolina. Keegan’s Christmas wish is to find hot sex on the boat, to forget all her worries.Otis Collins is a college student not looking for love, just sex. He just needs a distraction from school and his teacher’s wife. While on his way for some holiday fun, he finds himself attracted to this sexy beauty with long auburn hair who comes to sit beside him at the airport. After a few days of fun on the ship, Otis starts to feel more. Can a Christmas miracle unite two people who weren’t looking for love?
This was a great book. Christmas time, steamy and maybe a Christmas miracle. Keegan a student takes a trip to have fun and forget all her troubles. She is only out for a good time, nothing serious. Then she meets Otis. He is a student also taking a trip to relax and forget his teachers wife. But is there more between them? Or will they have fun and go their separate ways with some great memories? This is a novella with a great storyline. It made me smile which this author often does. Such a great Christmas read that I highly recommend!!!
Otis and Keegan are playfully adorable in this romance initially set on a single’s cruise ship in Alaska. Otis’s brother Carl is a hoot, too! The story not only has a humorous tone and plenty of sizzle, but its Christmas-in-Alaska setting comes to life with all the appropriate warm fuzzy scenes. For a steamy, holiday read, it’s perfect for a lazy afternoon by the fireplace!
Alaskan Love Voyage is the first book that I have read from this author and I am definitely ready to dive in head first into the next one!! Both Keegan and Otis take A singles holiday cruise just looking to have some fun. What they find is so much more. They have some obstacles to overcome before getting their happily ever after.
I love stories with well developed plots and diverse likable characters I can relate to. This short fiction has all the elements for a nice entertaining read. No fluff but just enough drama to keep the story moving forward at a good pace. Carl was by far my favorite character! He was funny and super cute being afraid of the dark. The clingy brother you just can’t say no to. Lol. But Keegan definitely was a better match for Otis—you feel their boiling chemistry and you can’t wait until they come together again. Which they do, over and over again. Of course the “falling in love” part might not have been too realistic considering they were only together for a few days. If felt more like infatuation and lust since most of their interactions were physical BUT... it is short fiction so having too high expectations would be almost unreasonable. I just love happy endings no matter what. I got a copy of this book in a giveaway and decided to review it voluntarily.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
I did enjoy this book about two college kids finding love on an Alaskan voyage. The book was written in a dual POV format which helps me to get a better understanding of a character.
This was a quick read and while I did enjoy it, it seemed to skip around and I would get confused and have to re-read a section.
Otis is out for a week of fun and games during a cruise for the holidays. Until he meets Keegan. They only have a week together. Otis isn't worried though because what could possibly happen in a week? Good book. I read it cover to cover in one sitting. I wanted to find out just how far Otis was going to go and I must admit, I was surprised!
Really liked this book. It was truly enjoyable. Fun to read a light-hearted book of love without all the heartache! It's just fun to meet someone, give a shot and just know that it's meant to be. So happy for Keegan and Otis!. Hope they live happily ever after!
