I've had this book forever, since the 90's. It's an older book and pretty interesting. The author is an outdoorsman, who is pretty conservation minded. Some pretty interesting stories. He had a blurb about Hugh Glass, the basis of the "bear scene" and aftermath in the film, The Revenant. The copy I own/read had very small print and not a lot of page breaks. I read a chapter a day 10/10. I'm glad I finally read it!

Book contains well-written and interesting stories about the "man-eating" creatures we all fear. Includes several interesting facts about the animals, but sometimes gets tedious with back-to-back stories of their attacks on people. Overall, an educational read.
