HE’S SOMEONE ELSE'S VERY HOT WIFE. WHY DOES SHE WANT HIM?
A blizzard shuts down Denver’s airport, and two solo travelers find themselves with time to kill. Sitting at the hotel bar, executive Paul Daniels is befriended by Julia Brannington. She’s stunning in every way.
David Stone is a freelance journalist, scriptwriter and author living in the Pacific Northwest. He enjoys writing romantic comedies, satires, and humorous stories reflecting on modern life's funnier trials and tribulations, especially in regard to couples.
His influences are broad, from Jane Austen to Updike, Cheever, Tolstoy and Nabokov, with a special fondness for both P.G. Wodehouse and Evelyn Waugh.
The Layover is the first of David Stone's books that I have read. Snowed in and unable to fly back home, some people, married or not, relieve the tension by hooking up with another virtual stranger, to wile away the hours until the storm passes and flights resume. That's exactly what happens in this installment of The Wife C
Definitely a layover..also a layunder and a lay between! A really nice story about two people stuck in a hotel awaiting their snow bound flight. A really good twist awaits those who read this easy peasy story.
Okay, I 've done some traveling in my past career but never had this happen. A fantasy scenario, complete with a beautiful aggressive lady . I found the writing style a bit stilted, not flowing very smoothly with dialog feeling 'sliced up'. Regardless, it was quite enjoyable.
My second read from author David Stone was as enjoyably hot & well-written as the first although a bit transparent. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
