Truly one of the best poetry books I’ve read. Even though I couldn’t relate to all of the poems she wrote, i still understood her completely. I love when I can do that, that shows how good her writing is. Fake deep captures how important it is to have self love, to be kind, and to be unapologetic. As someone who is never confident in anything about herself, this book helped me find the confidence I need to be myself and to be happy. I am in love with this book.

In all honesty this book really does reflect a lot of teen conflict and resentment with ourselves so much. This book does remind me of stuff today and how I would feel or am actually feeling. For the most part in the past could of years the poems have still aged well.

O.G review: I read this book in a day and a half and I think it to a point it does capture this generations teen angst from our confusing heartbreak, us thinking that we’re sometimes overly deep for no reason, and everything else. I have a lot of thoughts for this book but I love it for what it’s worth.
