A couple who has been in a traumatic situation is having trouble adjusting to the changes.
In the mix we still have danger, club whore causing problems, powerful enemies wanting to end the club.
I liked the reading and I will continue to follow the series.

This was my first novel and MC book by this author and I have to say wow! Crank is a man with a past, whose loyalty to his club is tested when tragic and horrifying events play out, driving a wedge between him and his long time love Cathy. She's a brave and strong woman, broken in spirit and a survivor of brutal and heartbreaking circumstances. I loved their struggle to heal individually and collectively while also finding their way back to each other. An excellent story of overcoming abuse and letting love guide you to a place of freedom and healing, and finding the strength to move on.
The Ruthless Bastards MC was my kind of club, gritty bikers and passionate lovers and I can't wait to read the rest of the series and find out more about the other members of the RBMC. Well-written, action filled, and darkly suspenseful, this is one book you don't want to miss! 5 outstanding stars!

Cathy has been through the worst thing a woman should have to face and now she is fighting against herself and the memories that keep trying to push the man she loves away. Crank will do everything in his power to bring the woman he loves back to him and back to herself, will they both be strong enough to face what the future holds for them? Have tissues ready for this read. I absolutely fell in love with strength and devotion Crank had for Cathy, he is a man in love and not willing to let a bump in the road make him question his love for her.

I Was Wrong
I hesitated reading this because I thought it might be too depressing to relive Cathy's torment throughout the entire book but I was wrong. I'm glad I read it because this story is about healing and the power of love. Lots of character development and I enjoyed getting to know Crank and Cathy. Excited for the next book!

I freaking loved this!!! I feel like everything in the previous book led us to this one. Crank and Cathy's story was all I could have hoped for. I honestly can't say more, except to give the series a chance.

This was a very emotional read for me and it took me quite awhile to get through it. Can 2 very damaged souls keep it all together for their relationship or will it all go up in flames? All I can say is have a couple of boxes of Kleenex handy because you're going to need it!

Colin “Crank” McGinnis and Catherine “Cathy” Torrent are an AMAZING couple who has been through hell. They lost a lot see she is a victim of a brutal crime....rape. All while he was knocked out and beaten himself. They were both left for dead. They never really healed over it. They need space or she does and she needs to heal in order to move on and does but there is still a cost. She finds out more about her past and wants to fix it. Crank gives her the space she needs but wants to work it out. In the meantime they RBMC find the ones responsible for hurting Cathy and take care of them only one problem there are more than just 4. Cathy knows this and tells Crank and things get bad from there...BUT Cathy does show us her name does mean BADASS!!!!

The more you read the better this series gets! Chelsea brought out all all kind of feels out of me with Crank! I got angry, I swooned, I bawled my eyes out a time or two. Especially when Cathy wrote a certain letter, really gutted me. I loved how honest and real the feeling were in this story, even when they weren't so pretty.
Being together for over 20 years things have gotten rocky between Collin aka Crank and Cathy. But with the recent traumatic events they both endured seems to only push them further apart. Both having to deal with their own guilt and insecurities, they must fight their own demons before they can fight for each other. Will they make it back in one piece?
Crank is a must read! This is book 4 of the RBMC series. It's a standalone but still part of a series. So even if this book ends Crank and Cathy's story, it is not the end of these hot bikers of the RBMC.

Crank book 4 of the RBMC is an emotional story that will leave you in tears. Crank and Cathy have been together for 20 years, he never strays and she is the best old lady a man could ask for. There lives our changed after they were attacked by the Vultures.
This story is heartbreaking but it does have a HEA. I highly recommend reading the first three books in the series to get a better understanding of the storyline and characters. I love this series and I can't wait for Creed, I hope Brass, Crash, Talon, Jinx and Tuck all get their own stories. Happy Reading!!!!

I read this book and thought it was one of the very best reads of long time! The amount of emotion this story drew out of me is the reason I love to read! Crank and Cathy's love is pushed beyond what most couples can ever come back from and the journey of finding out how strong their love is was an amazing thing to read about. I highly recommend this book!

This book was my ugly cry. You feel every emotion they go thru. Cathy an Crank have been thru so much. Can they find the way back to each other after what a rival club did two them. Chelsea has written a true heart scorching story. Sometimes its easier to feel broken an unfixable.

Cathy and Collin "Crank", have been mentioned in every story from book 1 of RBMC and even in Chelsea Handcocks other series NAC & The Holly. I was so intrigued by them from the other series I had to read this one when it started! I have been blown away by this series and each one has been better and better but this one, this one is the one that touched me the most.
Cathy has had to deal with something no woman should ever have to experience. She shut down, and pushed everyone away.
Crank is having his own difficulties with what happened to his woman, 20 years together and now it could all be over for them.
The way this is told I was pulled into each of their stories as it showed the depth of love and caring they have for each other.
The big question is, will they be able to overcome the past, fight for what they both need and still keep that connection they've had all these years?
All I know is this big bad biker made me cry like a baby, I think this story will be with me for a long time to come.

Im so glad ive stuck it out with this series by Chelsea Handcock.
Its getting better and better with each new book. Crank and Cathy have been put through hell together for over 20 years they loved each other with a passion . But one fateful night and all hell broke lose and it changed their lives forever. A loss like they've never known due to the hands of the most vile and sickest vultures Cathy will never be the same again and Crank will always carry the guilt of not being able to protect his woman.
With the help of counciling both endon up coming out better stronger and as much in love as they were when thw firat met over 20 years ago. Nothing can change what happened but with love, time and faith in each other they cant get back to what they had but they build on something better and with the help of the RBMC and friends both Crank & Cathy get their happily ever after.

My heart broke into a million pieces for Cathy and Crank and I cried for them both. Twenty years of Cathy and Crank's love for one another was put to ultimate test after they were drugged, he was beaten, badly wounded and left for dead while Cathy had been brutally assaulted by several men. Instead of giving up they each fought their own battles individually and together to get the happily ever after they deserved. Chelsea thank you for writing a book that shows both sides of what a couple goes through and the even though it was tragic if two people are determined to put the time and effort into healing through the good moment's and bad they can make thought the darkness to the light together.

I loved all three of the previous books in this series. I also loved Crank's and Cathy's story. They both had to overcome a lot but I am glad they did.

Crank and Cathy, my heart went out right from the start on this book. You feel for these characters and what them to make it.
When you find out what happened to them, you understand the difficulties but you want them to heal and find one another again. The club has so much going on and it seems to run on fumes, and the drama for the guys are one right after the other, it is almost like they don't get a rest.
Cathy has been thru hell and back it brought tears to my eyes to see this strong lady deal with the pain and embarrassment. these two really grow on you and you are rooting for them.
This is my favorite so far in the series, yes I know I said that at 3 but 4 is even better.

LOVED IT!
A few years ago I stumbled onto a free book from a Ms Chelsea Handcock, It was the RBMC series and of course it was only into the 1st couple books, so I took a chance and downloaded it and fell in love😍 In my recent travels, inside my library, I found the 1st book of the series now of course I remember I read it but then I remembered that I had other books in the series and wasn't sure if I read them all or not🤔 lo and behold I've found a few and I'm in love all over again!! love this author's storytelling and look forward to reading more😘

Love it!!
I think this was a beautifully written story about healing from a traumatic experience and a journey that a couple takes to move on together from that!! I think it was very realistic and that Chelsea did a wonderful job!! The best book in the series so far in my opinion!!

Completely Different
I wasn't sure how this book was going to go. Honestly, I wasn't even looking forward to it. Even tho there was plenty of drama, which I usually don't care for, this has been my favorite book so far.

OMG I have never cried so much because of a book
It was a very good book, just like all the others in this series but this one just broke my heart, was so glad that they got back together and that he never gave up on her

I'm so mad Cathy was hurt so bad. I can't wait until they catch the rest of the money men. Crank and his brothers have betrayal coming from all sides. I can't wait till they get the chance to avenge their Old ladies.

I loved this book because of the emotional ride it made me live. The story was well-written without the vivid details down to the way this man loved his woman. Those of us that can relate to Cathy’s ordeals dream or dreamt of a man just like Crank. A must read!
