Hidden graves found in the forest. Three gangs join forces. The abrupt resignation of a top FBI scientist.
What is the connection?
Beth is shocked when her fellow scientist quits without warning, but Warren, her husband and a senior FBI agent, doesn’t share her concerns. Beth takes matters into her own hands and calls on private investigator, Sam Dalton, for help.
The answer he finds leaves them asking more questions.
At the beginning of December 2013, I sat down at my computer and started typing. I had a story in my head that insisted on being released and four months later I had written my first novel.
Writing is not new for me. I've been writing since my teenage years. It is only now that I have felt the urge to take it more seriously.
My credentials? I don't have a degree in writing and I'm not published extensively (yet). My first job was the Australian Army Reserve and I left only to enlist in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). I loved the life and it has left me with an interest in the things military and law enforcement related. Another passion in my life is research. I love to find out about things and have been doing that since high school. Not content with set assignments, I used to take up my own research projects on a wide range of topics. So rest assured, if it's in one of my stories, I have researched it extensively. Having said that, there will be occasions when I need to take a bit a license, bend the truth to fit the story.
I love writing. I love letting the story inside me come to life on a page. It's intoxicating. The pure pleasure I experience is something incredible, so I will keep writing for as long as the stories keep appearing in my mind. If someone else enjoys reading what I write, then that increases the joy I feel. Winners all round!
