This is a review for the entire series. 4.5/5

I thought this was a well executed sci-fi horror story. The plot was tight, where everything felt pertinent by the end. The horror imagery was very reminiscent of Junji Ito and was appropriately disturbing. The sense of impending doom is nicely juxtaposed and offset by the age and innocence of the protagonists. Their never ending optimism shining against the unknown threats.

Recommend to Junji Ito, Lovecraft, and Stephen King fans.

for all 4 volumes it was interesting enough to keep reading but not quite enough to love it. the plot got quite convoluted and confusing and I wish the characters would’ve been fleshed out more

The art is beautiful. I enjoy the premise but found some of the worldbuilding a bit formless, which isn't necessarily bad.
