It is an amazing work, born as part of visual art and performances by the author, we feel the life within the words.

About family, suffering, happiness, about being a woman. There are collages and poetry - even slam poetry.

It is a must have to understand the main subjects about black woman diaspora.

Once I was talking about this book to someone who was looking at it at the bookshop and just went "I love this book so much I would buy it again if I didn't have it already". That's really how much I love it. The second poem specially just HITS home man. Lisette Lombe is incredible.
