Jay’s had enough of temporary arrangements with temporary Doms. He thinks he’s found the community he’s been looking for with the Thunder Pigs MC—a gay BDSM motorcycle club with their own private dungeon. Only he’s not a brother, not one of their boys, and the club’s president is tired of Jay playing tourist. When given an ultimatum—get with a brother or get banned indefinitely—Jay must prove he’s the perfect sub for the Dom he’s admired from afar. Stag isn’t ready to take on a sub after the lingering hurt of too many false starts. He’s been going solo for too long to let a thirsty twink be more than eye candy to him. But Jay’s a good guy who seems to really need the club in his life. And Stag isn’t about to let him walk out of the clubhouse, and out of his life, without trying to help. But the taboo nature of his kinks, his needs, might do more harm than good. This story contains Risk Aware Consensual Kink including dominance/submission play and watersports.
Elliot Cooper is all about happy endings and positive queer rep in genre fiction - specifically subgenres of romance and erotica. His stories range from sweet to scorching hot, light to dark, humorous to serious, and everything in between. He loves to experiment with genre mash-ups and old favorite tropes, turning some on their heads, meeting others head-on.
The title says it all, which means this is a super short book that gives an insight into the beginning of a BDSM relationship and includes watersports ... please don't read if these aren't your kinks, because there's nothing else in this story. I really liked this story, Jay who has had a thing for Stag for ages but doesn't dare and Stag who is looking for something special. As I said, there isn't really much plot and the BDSM scene between the two is a bit bumpy as they don't really know each other. But, and this is what I particularly liked, they try to figure each other out and are very considerate of each other.
“I want to belong to someone, to be his all the time. His toy. His pet. His boy.” “You want to be a live-in sub. Twenty-four-seven.” It wasn’t a question. Stag understood exactly what Jay was after and he didn’t look scared or off put or like he was about to serve up some safety lecture.🖤🫠🖤
Figuring out what Jay really wanted, what he needed, was something Stag was determined to learn by doing, not talking. Part of that was ego, he was well aware: the desire to help a sub discover something new about himself, to unlock some hidden perfect fantasy that would create an unforgettable experience. He wanted to make his mark in a man’s memory as much as on his skin.🖤🫠🖤
I like the author's style, it was my first book, I definitely have to read more, and look, there's already another book by this author on my reader ... How did that happen again ...
This is the story of a thirsty twink called Jay. He has been part of a gay BDSM motorcycle club for some time. The Thunder Pigs MC president demands Jay be a brother as well by becoming the submissive boy for one of the dominant men or risk being kicked out of the club. Stag, a dominant man decides to rescue Jay from the situation. The good thing is that Jay has feelings for Stag already so something develops between them.
I picked up this book because I wanted to read something with watersports that also has domination and submission. I liked the watersports scenes and where the story was heading but could not help it about the lack of chemistry between the two main characters. I’m not sure why. I just did not feel their connection. They were close physically yet I felt they were far from each other emotionally. Something was missing. However, there are things that I appreciate the author adding like the contract and the use of safewords between the two characters in their new relationship. This is the first time I read something by this author. I will read more books to see if he has something that is more interesting.
I don’t usually read books this short, but when I saw Thirsty Boy contained watersports I was intrigued enough to read it. Now, in case you’re not familiar with the term: watersports is a term used to describe sexual activities with bodily fluids, most notably urine. If that’s not your thing, skip this book, but I’ve never read much on this, so I was curious.
The story starts when Jay s about to get kicked out of the gay MC clubhouse he’s been hanging around in. The only way to stay is by submitting to one of the members, and he hopes to get chosen by Stag, a Dom he’s admired for a while.
Stag agrees to give him a try, but he has his reasons for being careful. He’s into watersports, and hasn’t been able to find a sub willing to go that far. Needless to say, there’s sex in this book and some serious watersports kink, which by the way, did intrigue me while reading.
In any story this length, character development is a big challenge, since you only have little space to devote to that. It’s one of the reason why I prefer to read full-length books. That being said, the scenes felt a little rushed and underdeveloped, even for the short story concept. I would have loved to see more depth in the characters emotions so the ending would have been more natural. Now, it felt a little sudden.
Still, I loved the author’s writing and would love to read a full-length book of his.
I take care of you. I feed you. I water you. I stretch you to fit my needs. I show you just what a dirty boy you really are, Inside and out. And I wash you up and put you to bed at the end of the day unless you’ve crossed me. —
okay, first of all: I loved it, it was super short, it begins after 5ish years of pining haha The scenes were intense (mind the tags) I loved the insta-possession this is 56pages and I want more more more more the setting looked like a whole series of bdsm biker fun and I‘m devastated that the author hasn’t published for a while. — 24/7 - bdsm community - biker club - toys - total power exchange (tpe) - Watersports - HousEboy - talking limits (…)
This is a very good erotic novella. I really like Elliot Cooper's books, and the cover is great. So although BDSM and watersports aren't kinks I'm especially drawn towards, I decided to read this. I'm so glad I did!
The setting is a motorcycle and BDSM club. There is some jargon from both areas in the story, which added flavor for me as an outsider, but was never confusing. Jay is a prospective member, a sub looking for a Dom. The club's leader tells him he needs to participate or stop coming, but Jay isn't interested in the group sex that goes on at the club. Because of the ultimatum, though, Jay goes home with Stag, the Dom he has had his eye on from the beginning.
Inexperience and/or virginity are often unspoken kinks in erotica and romance, and I like to read those stories too. But it was very refreshing to read about experienced characters for a change. Both Stag and Jay have been involved in BDSM for a while, and they're both still looking for their ideal match.
They both also come across as vulnerable. Stag wants to give Jay the best possible experience and to help him discover new parts of his sexuality. He struggles with his self-control a bit, so that he doesn't just act on his own desires without pleasing Jay. He pays very close attention at every moment to how Jay is feeling. Jay wants to be the best sub he can, and he doubts himself a few times, since he and Stag don't know each other very well yet. But their first encounter is satisfying for both of them, and I really believe they'll be happy together.
There is hardly any background detail about either of these characters' lives, but I didn't miss it. It's short, sexy, and a fun read.
DNF, but it's really no one's fault but mine for not looking up what the words meant in the content warning. Up until that point in the story, I was enjoying it. I'll make sure to check out some other books by the author.
It was ok. I wanted to like it but it really wasn’t as I expect it. I love reading BDSM but I felt like something was missing, I really didn’t get to know the characters, all the things said about them were a little superficial. It was hard to really know who they were. I don’t think they had a good connection either. Maybe the issue was that it felt a little rushed and I’m not a big fan of relationship that develop so fast.
What I did like about it was some of the activities within one of the scenes they shared. I liked how thoughtful Stag was but even in that area I felt like something was missing. Watersports are really a no for me, but I guess that didn’t bother me that much since it wasn’t too much time spend in such scenes, but maybe that was sort of the problem. Sometimes the scenes, not only sexual ones, were too short and giving the feeling of being underdeveloped.
Overall It was fine and I guess a lot of readers would enjoy it. It had some parts I liked but some of the issues I had with it were bigger than the ones that I liked.
I actually didn't read the tags, so I was completely surprised by the watersports. It's definitely not a kink I am into, but it worked for Stag and Jay, so I embraced it. I was a little confused in the beginning because I wasn't sure who the narrator was, but as I kept reading, it became clear who was speaking. I even reread the first part after I knew a little bit about Jay and Stag which was helpful. Overall, I enjoyed this story that had a wonderful mix of tender moments and sexy times. I will be looking more from his new to me author in the future!
Whoo-eee, that was intense for as short as it was. Plenty of emotions and so heavy on the heat.
Content warnings: on page sex (including oral, anal play), kink (including anal stretching, toys [specifically plugs and dildos], watersports [some marking by urinating, some drinking urine]), mentions of public sex, mentions of fisting, some panicky feelings about feeling abandoned, mentions of sub-drop.
The other stories I've read from him have been "sweet" (his descriptor) so this was a fun change. Really liked the characters together, exploring each other and what it could mean. Could happily read more of these two but so far I've preferred his novellas to his novels so I'll just be happy with what we got here.
I really enjoyed this novella a lot. In fact I really wish it was an entire series. I would love to devour multiple books about this interesting and kinky group. Maybe we can convince Elliott to expand this universe.
This was a fun, kinky book that explored domination and fetishes that are probably not for everyone. I liked it a lot, especially the interaction between Jay and Stag. The writing was well done and I thoroughly enjoyed this story – especially the sex and kink portion of it.
Sweet and hot (this is my reading motto for winter months). I didn't get into the head-space of MCs, probably because of kinks that were not entirely mine. But this is still a nice story.
New to me author that lured me with that cover! Had no idea what to expect and while I got a little more than I bargained for (HARD KINK IS HARD 😈😂), I found myself wishing this one was longer. I quite liked the premise as well as both MCs. Was also intrigued by the secondary characters and wondered what else everyone would get up to. This one definitely pushed me but I easily went with it because I thought it was well written and I'd absolutely read more of Cooper (write longer things 😁😉!).
DNF This book is all over the place. The promise is there. But the rest is a hot mess. One pov to the next to the next with no clear transitions and it's a jumbled mess. I do not recommend.
I very enjoyed this short story, which had many things I love: believable BDSM, a motorcycle club, and a fair amount of angst. I was confused at the beginning about who was speaking and what was going on, but I stuck with it and was pleased with the emotional connection between the MCs. Even though watersports isn't my thing, I still loved the story (and it isn't the only kink explored). There was something that kept being hinted at which was never realized, but I can understand why given the length. Worth the read.
