Jessica takes a quiz about her budding romance with Damon . . . and doesn't know how to fill in the blank!
Your guy is really sweet to you all the time when you're friends. But then when you're finally going out he practically forgets your name. What's up with that?
Francine Paula Pascal was an American author best known for her Sweet Valley series of young adult novels. Sweet Valley High, the backbone of the collection, was made into a television series, which led to several spin-offs, including The Unicorn Club and Sweet Valley University. Although most of these books were published in the 1980s and 1990s, they remained so popular that several titles were re-released decades later.
My first ever collected book series! I so remembered this.
I was in high school when I came across Francine Pascal's Sweet Valley High. Elizabeth and Jessica were in college. And it was a random book given to me, maybe book 40 or something already. But I got intrigued so I started looking for the rest of the books. Sadly, back home, paperback was expensive and I'm still living off my allowances so I can't collect all the books. But through looking (I remembered I went to the big bookstore thrice that week and search for hours), I found the author started another series of the same MCs - their Jr. High life. This is that book.
At first, I didn't know it was a series. So I read this, enjoyed it, and when I saw in the intro page that this is a series (I think GR doesn't exist during that era), I went back to that same bookstore and started looking for book 1 and so on. I think for a year, I was able to complete until book 20 or something. Sadly, I outgrown Jessica and Elizabeth so I stopped collecting.
But this series is close to my heart. It helped me during my adolescent years. I learned a lot even though they were fictional, and it delve me to embrace reading more books.
I like Elizabeth's character. She's the serious one, responsible, intelligent, leader type. Jessica, on the other hand, is the rebel, courageous, a little daring, somewhat too into her looks and overly cautious with her status, but loves her twin sister dearly.
It's really nice I found this gem during my formative years.
