Playing Dirty Four book Box set by Lane Hart a five-star filled read. All four books deserve five-stars of their own.
Ballbuster by Lane Hart a baller of a five-star read. This is the first book in a playing dirty sports romance series, what a start. I have to be honest Lane Hart wrote my favourite series with the Cocky Cage fighter series, and this may just be catching up with it.
I surprised myself how much I identified with Roxanne ‘Ballbuster’ Benson as she is a hard-core Jock and my idea of a good game is sitting on the side-lines. But you can’t help but root for her, I wanted to be on the side lines cheering her on, as the first female in professional football playing for the Wildcats. Her leg is like the football equivalent to Beyoncé’s behind. The problem is will her legacy be ruined on her first day with the team?
Kohen Hendricks has it all, star kicker for the wildcats, woman throwing themselves at him. But that could all be over after he is looking at his phone and gets hit by a ‘ballbuster’. Was it her plan all along? Or was it just an accident that may lead to a better outcome?
Roxanne is a great female lead, she has a passion to her that won’t be put down, she is a woman you could get behind and kick the trash to the kerb with. Kohen is man who you could imagine going to the long game with, all the way. They were both proper characters that had a real depth and the background characters were so funny. I for one can’t wait to read more about one background in particular Quinton, I can’t wait to read his story in Perfect Spiral.
Perfect Spiral by Lane Hart a perfect five-star read. This is the second book in the second book in the Playing Dirty series and it just gets better with each book, I am eagerly awaiting the third book as the Wildcats have me hooked. Quinton is a star quarterback, it’s all he knows, that and drinking and having fun. But when he opens his door one evening the thing he wasn’t expecting to find was a baby, seems his wayward past is catching up to him. I loved Quinton when we met him in the first book if the series Ballbuster, where his cheeky attitude made him a lovable rouge. In this story, he has to grow up fast and it shows him in a different light, a light I loved.
Callie is a woman with the world on her shoulders and it’s about to get heavier, she is beaten down but in typical Lane Hart fashion she doesn’t let her leading lady stay down, she writes them with the skill to be more than they ever realised and she allows them to be the strong leading lady they deserve to be.
Lane Hart is one of those authors you leap at the thought of them releasing another book, I am fast working my way through everything she has written, my only worry is what will I do when I have read them all? I can only harass her so much to get writing, I know she has a family and all. But I do secretly hope I win the lottery so I can do a misery style affair but I would be kind and wouldn’t chain her up, and I would invite the family. But no distractions as we need more books. Mmmmm a girl can dream and buy more tickets.
Delay of the Game by Lane Hart a game changer of a five-star read. This is the third book in the Playing Dirty series, but each book can be read alone, they all focus on a player of the Wildcats football team and this time was the turn of Lathan ‘The 24 year old virgin’ Savage it is a M/M romance, and I know not everyone likes this genre but this is a great one to take a chance on, it’s very sweet journey that will break you in gently and hopefully make you realise it can be just as hot.
Lane Hart is my hero, I used to be in the mmm not my fave camp for M/M, but give it a go if it’s an author I like but not I am so in the camp I am considering going to Shimmer (A gay signing in the UK, just to find more out more books in the genre)
I have major girl crushage on Lane Hart she writes people I want in my life, and wrote one of the best series I have ever read, and this one is coming in a very close second. I loved the first two book in the series, they both had great characters and story’s that you could get behind, and funny situations that have you giggling like a loon. This instalment doesn’t disappoint, this one was darker and sadder than the others, even though we saw loss in the other books, this time it was a real punch in the gut. The things we do to make other people happy. Would you be able to give up your happiness for someone else? I don’t know if I could and this book makes you think of that chance, will you come out the other side stronger? Or sadder?
Eligible Receivers by Lane Hart a five-star read that will blow your mind and your heart. This is the forth book in the Playing Dirty sports romance series. Wow what a read, I may be bias as I am a huge Lane Hart fam, but this was amazing, I don’t normally enjoy thurple stories, I always feel like one person gets left out, but this was amazing, the way they grow and develop and the way we see so much more to each character as they are brought out by the other two was sublime. You normally only get to see he side your partner brings out, but with two you get more sides, it made the story so much deeper and more involved, it was hotter than hell but had some amazing heart to it as well. I don’t want to reveal too much of the story more than you get in the blurb but Cameron Hines, Nixon Lopes and Kelsey Tyler all stole my heart in one way or another and I really don’t care. They all brought something to the story, and all I want to say is thank you lane Hart for being an amazing writer.

Brilliant Series ......Each book is SO worth the read and now together in one places makes it easier to jump straight to the next installment!
Book One -Ballbuster
I will admit that I am a firm fan of Lane Hart and all of her books but to be honest, when I read the description for this book I wasn't overly keen to read it! More fool me! Once I started it, I couldn't put it down until the end and I LOVED every minute of it! The premise seems a bit weird with a female football player and I wasn't too sure this would work but Lane has once again shown just how well she knows her art!
Roxy has worked hard all of her life in a 'man's world' of football and when her chance comes along, of course the Wildcats star player Kohen literally steps in front of her chances.....or so she thinks! Here begins a wild ride of fun and some steamy trysts that proves that both these characters can conquer their own hang ups and work together to have it all. Lane writes amazing banter for these two and the other characters in the book are certainly due their own stories (HINT, HINT!!!) I simply can't wait to see what Lane Hart has in store for this series....and its certainly one I will read as soon as I have a copy! Buy it....just ensure you have time to set aside to read in one go!
Book Two -Perfect Spiral
Lane Hart is one of those authors that for me I simply one-click just because it's written by her as she never disappoints. This is the second in the Playing Dirty series and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
This is Quinton's story, the Wildcats Quarterback who we were introduced to in book one, Ballbuster. He's your typical womanising jock to begin with and when a baby boy is left on his doorstep his life in a world of playing hard on and off the pitch is pulled into question. He is likeable and the way he steps up to the plate to care for his son is really nice and well written.
Callie is the sister of the baby's mum and is determined to take him away from someone she perceives is no good for him. Of course as the story goes on and Callie begins to melt her cold and harsh exterior you can see as she does just how devoted Quinton is to this baby boy, his obligations and eventually the romance between them.
I do agree with others in that I was a bit frustrated Callie and Quinton went from kissing to steamy hot sex (which Lane is VERY good at writing - cold shower anyone!) but let's be honest here and admit, it's the steam we are mainly interested in with a good storyline to boot which Lane Hart does perfectly!
Once again another hot read and I can't wait to see what comes next in the series!
Book Three -Delay Game
This is a great addition to the series and I fell head over heels for Lathan and Paxton. They are such a great couple and Lane Hart has so carefully and tenderly written their love story that you can't help but read this one in one sitting.
I laughed, cried and groaned aloud at some of the events in this novel but the affectionate way these two acknowledge the love they have for each other and the surprising elements of this for both of them, makes this such a brilliantly written M/M romance.I also loved the fact that Quinton and Callie make an appearance and Quinton pulls it out of the back in supporting his friend in what ends up a funny chapter!
I wouldn't discount this if M/M isn't your thing. Lane Hart is a master of her art and no matter what the personal combination she writes, at the heart the story is always love and that, for me is simply the be all and end all of it!
Another brilliant novel by Lane Hart.
Book Four - Eligible Receiver
Once again Lane Hart has proven why I know once I start one of her books, I will not be putting it down until finish.
Eligible Receiver is a perfect story of love expanding past what you imagine and finding that what you need may simply be something unexpected and way more than you could ever have imagined. I have to admit, I wasn't too sure about Kelsey but found that as she struggled with Nix and Cam and the obvious HEAT they all had, I really warmed up to all three characters and would love to see more of them in a future short story possibly.
I loved how Lane managed to take us on a journey where ménage was the last any of these foresaw but, realised that once the competition, fear, anxiety and anger was worked through, they made a pretty hot threesome who really were meant to be. This one had some VERY heated moments which had you needing a cold shower to cool down - or finding a player of your own, wink, wink! Aside from the heat, there's the simple story of how people fall in love in many forms. It has you laughing, crying, shouting and feeling tingly as you journey with these three on their HEA.
I'm sad this is the end of the Playing Dirty Series but for me this was a perfect ending to what has been a brilliant series by Lane Hart. I can't wait to see who she delivers next but you can guarantee, it will be SO worth the wait!

Something for everyone, fantastic read!
I loved this cute little mini series. I may have read it after the MC series instead of before like it was written but it was nice to see how the characters in book 4 tied into Chase in the savage MC series. Books 3 and 4 were my favorites. I liked the humor of the characters in 4 and the way the subject matter was approached in book 3. Definitely worth reading multiple times.

Good series
This was pretty good. Sexy, loyal football players and the strange, crazy women they fall in love with. Kohen and Roxy, Ballbuster, were my favorite couple...they were the least annoying!
