It was ok, this was to me anyway an insta-love, I know others will disagree with me since they have known each other for a couple of years buuuuut they didn't really spend time with each other that came when Jordan started working for Brad. So they had one drunken kiss the day she starts working for him, then 4 days later they have sex. Two day later all hell breaks lose but they admit that they love each other, their was no time for them to get to really know each other besides the one dinner, so to me it was insta-love..Nicole was a brat. I can't understand the 5 stars.

This was a surprise! Not the normal age gap/best friends father story.

There was a lot more to the plot. It had real feelings and emotions regarding the fall out from the unexpected relationship. Yes there was lots of steam but so much emotion from the characters. The “boss/secretary/office” was a little light and an explanation about is ex wife since she was alluded many times would have made it even better than it was!

This is the first book that I have read by Leona Lee and Lia Lee and I have really enjoyed it. I have read Leona's stories before and that's why I tried this one. It certainly exceeded my expectations and will definitely be looking for stories by both of them in the future. We meet Jordan who is a sweet young woman with wit, humour and intelligence as well as stunning and a really lovely person who is 26 years old and still a virgin. her best friend is Nicole and she pleads with her dad, Brad, to hire Jordan as she is hard working and would fit right into his company where he is CEO as she was being sexually harassed at work. Brad has always lusted after ]Jordan from afar and is reluctant at first but knows that she will be great for his firm. And she is, Jordan fits in perfectly and she and Brad become closer until they finally reveal how attracted they are to one another. one thing leads to another and... Jordan is terrified that she has damaged her friendship with Nicole for good by being with Brad but Nicole doesn't know yet.. Can Brad and Jordan control their attraction which is turning to love from Nicole? Do they even want to hide their love? They know she'll find out soon. so what should they do? tell her themselves or let her find out by herself?? Beautifully written with well rounded characters that I liked and were realistic. The passionate scenes sizzle and sparkle with their chemistry and you may want to switch on a fan or air con for you to cool down. A great story and I'm now looking forward to their next romantic adventures. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. I also got a copy via Kindle Unlimited.

This is a very sweet and cute love story. Brad🐺🍆🌋✋ is the much older man who has feelings for his daughter's friend, Jordan💃💋, but he spends a lot of time trying to stay in denial. He is afraid he will alienate his daughter if he acts on his feelings towards her best friend. Brad🐺🍆🌋✋ also can't believe a beautiful young woman like Jordan💃💋 would be interested in a man almost twice her age.

I read this book as part of an arc program. I really liked this older man/ younger woman romance. Brad owned a tech company and when his daughter Nicole asks him to hire her friend Jordan as his secretary because her current boss is harassing her, he does but is nervous because he finds Jordan so attractive. Jordan and Nicole have been best friends for years and Jordan once admitted to Nicole she found her father attractive and Nicole did not take that news well. When Jordan starts to work for Brad, she knows she has to fight her attraction because she doesn't want to lose Nicole's friendship. After going for drinks to celebrate Jordan's first week working at the company, Brad kisses Jordan and then quickly pulls away. When Brad apologizes the next day, Jordan confesses her feelings to him. This was a good story and I really enjoyed Brad and Jordan. I thought Nicole was a little spoiled and immature but she was also understandable to not like the idea of Jordan with her father. Good one.

Brad hires his daughter's best friend to be his secretary because her current work environment was bad. He never expected to be attracted to her and to want to claim her for his own. Jordan has always had a crush on Nicole's dad but never really thought anything would come of it until they started working together. Being together made them more aware of each other. Then one night at a employees after work drink they slip and kiss. Trying to forget about the kiss Brad avoids Nicole but he can't stop thinking about her. Unable to stop themselves they end up having sex. They secretly see each other while trying to figure out what exactly they are to each other. What will happen when Jordan finds out about them?

This was a hot story I couldn't put it down once I started. I love this writing team and can't wait to see what they write next. Another five star hit.

Well written short story with great storyline and plot. A sweet off limit taboo romance. It is a nice read. Full of expanse and hotness. But absolutely worth the read. I like that the characters are relatable and likeable. A story about daring to take what you want and how to open up for the unknown things.

I love the journey towards their HEA. There are laughs, drama, passion, emotions, hot scenes, twists and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. Great romance with a twist and very enjoyable read though. The epilogue is very welcomed and gives the story more to it and it finishes better of than without it.

I like the main characters and how they develop. The story flows nicely and it is very captivating from first to last chapter.

I thought the book was well written and had a great storyline. I have read many books by Leona Leè and loved them, but this is my first by Lia. Brad Woods is the father of Nicole and Jordan Hall is Nicole best friend. Nicole and Jordan have been friends for many years with Jordan being Nicole’s confidant with a secret of her own.
Brad Woods owns a IT business and provided Jordan a job after an uncomfortable situation at her previous employment.
This book touches on some great topics and encompasses love and true commitment. Brad and Jordan had great chemistry. A fast read you will enjoy.

Jordan was recently offered a job working for her best friend's dad Brad, after her best friend explained the nasty conditions she was putting up with in her old job. After the first couple of work days an after work get together brings their growing attraction to each other to the forefront. As they try this new facet of their relationship they have some spicy interactions. Jordan and Brad are forced to confront the barriers they face and their feelings for each other as the story continues.

Definitely a steamy read. Loved how this wasn't a first time meeting and that they had a couple of years to get to know each other. I did understand why Jordan got mad about Brad telling his friend about her. Good read!

It’s a good retelling of the plot and will leave you satisfied. It’s sexy and sweet and emphasizes that love happens. Like a lot of things happening in this world, this book encourages acceptance and forgiveness.

The whole taboo nature of the best friend's dad, along with some steamy hot scenes, make this a page turner.
