All’s Fair in Love and Wolf is part of the Silver Town Wolf series by Terry Spears.

Bounty Hunter Jenna St. James is determined to bring Sarandon Silver back to his trial, but when she meets the man, she isn’t so sure he’s the right one, even though her she-wolf acknowledges him as her mate.

Now Sarandon needs to clear his name while courting Jenna who’s hell bent on turning him in.… for now.

All’s Fair in Love and Wolf was an alright story. It certainly keeps your mind occupied as you watch these two clear Sarandon’s name and catching the true culprit. I thought the chemistry between these two were great, but at the same time I felt like the moments they had were at a slower pace than I’d like. However, I did enjoy the mystery aspect of who was behind in using Sarandon name when he wasn’t even in the area. Let alone has the full town of Silver to defend him on their behalf. Terry Spears did a wonderful job establishing a strong knit family after all these years.

I look forward to reading more of her work!

This book had a great first meeting between Jenna and Sarandon. I was a bit surprised that Jenna listened to what Sarandon and the others had to say and believed them so easily. I thought this might have dragged out longer, which I wasn't really looking forward to. It was great to see Sarandon and Jenna work together to figure things out and how all of Silver Town jumped in to help where they could.

What Sarandon found out seemed a bit far fetched, but I went with it. I really thought things were going to end bad for the initial person they were after, however things weren't what they seemed. It was nice that once again Jenna and Sarandon, who were a team at this point, listened to what was said, leading them in a new direction.

By the time this one ended, I thought those that deserved happiness got it and those that didn't, got what they deserved. I really enjoyed seeing all the different packs work together and celebrate, something I think they all needed.

This book was very entertaining, and it was interesting to see how cheerful and confident Sarandon was regarding his innocence and his feelings about Jenna. Within its pages Author Terry Spear creates the world of family and friends who will do anything to help and support someone they care and love. This is very refreshing to read when the world around us portrays dysfunctional families as a norm. It also does a great job of tying in main characters from previous books to this series.

For Sarandon his life gets turned upside down and he learns some things that shock he and his brothers. But their integrity comes shining through when faced with this unknown.

Jenna has a one-track mind to get her man, but she is also interesting because she thinks rationally and logically about things, so she has the ability to see both sides of the story and act accordingly. I do think she might have gone a little faster with Sarandon than one would expect because of her profession but it all ties in with the storyline so eventually it no longer bothered me.

This is a worthy read for those paranormal readers out there and I give it 4 STARS.

ARC REVIEW

Heart of the Wolf #25, Silver Town Wolf #8, Followers of the series Sarandon finally gets his book, newbies don't worry it can be read as a standalone. Terry Spear has created a giant PNR universe with her Heart of the Wolf series with several spinoffs, or subseries (a series within a series) whatever you call it Silver Town is probably my favorite. Silver Town, Colorado is a shifter town owned and run completely by shifters, the Silver Pack with several other packs on the outskirts.

Jenna St. James, fugitive recovery agent, didn't know what she was walking into when she took what was suppose to be an easy recovery of an identity thief but her easy job got screwed when she realized Sarandon was a wolf shifter. Not just a wolf shifter but a shifter with a whole pack to back him up. Jenna never being part of a pack before never realized the extent they would go to protect one of their own. Even with the whole pack behind him Jenna is still hesitant to believe and if he is telling the truth that means the real culprit is still out there and her mom is going to be out way too much money. When they have finally proven without a doubt that Sarandon is not the man she's looking for the Silver pack goes all out to help her find the real criminal and the fact that he looks enough like Sarandon to be confused with him doesn't go unnoticed.

Sarandon has more than one reason to work with Jenna to find the real criminal, the attraction was there from the beginning even when she was holding the rifle on him and it was mutual. Jenna was relieved when Sarandon was proven innocent because that meant she could stop feeling guilty for being attracted to a bounty. The attraction and the romance was the easy part the hard part is figuring out how they are going to fit into each other's lives with Jenna working out of Colorado Springs and Sarandon's tour company in Silver Town. I say it with every review I do for this series but I really do love that they don't have sex until they are positive they want each other for mates; they can do everything but that and it really does feed the sexual chemistry between the two and it shows their devotion to each other. These two really have some great chemistry.

Overall, this was such a great read. I loved the whole mistaken identity/identity theft thing and where that whole story went, it went so much deeper than you expect it to and that was nice. Jenna is one of three sisters so I'm hoping to see them in upcoming books (fingers crossed).

2.5 Hearts Ok I think I am a bit done with this series. I will probably go back to reading it at some point but I think I need a break. After 25 it is time for a break.

This is a bit of hurry up and wait. Within moments Jenna (and the pack) believes Sarandon’s story. And then Jenna is going to protect Sarandon no matter what. I just never connected to these characters.

This is a lovely romance blended in with a mystery. Jenna and Sarandon searched for clues, pulling in family and pack to navigate through the twists and turns. I enjoyed how everyone interacted and added a fun dimension to this cat and mouse story, they made you feel a part of it all, caring about their relationship as well as the criminal. This fun romance started out tame then sizzled. I liked it.

All's Fair in Love and Wolf takes you back to Terry Spears' Heart of the Wolf series and especially the Silver Town wolves series for another look at life as a shifter in a close knit pack and how a case of identity theft can bring you the love of your life. Being the first time that I've read this particular part of the series I had no trouble following the lives of the Silver boys and their family and friends in Silver town. A unique town in Colorado that is completely wolf run and owned. This book is the story of Jenna and Sarandon who weren't looking for a true love and finding it in a most unusual way.

Jenna is a Fugitive Recovery Agent and on a case to bring in an identity thief who would cost their family business a considerable amount of money since he skipped out on his bail, using a forged deed to a piece of land. Sarandon is taking a couple of weeks off of his tour business to come up with some adventurous ideas to take people on. Going up to a pack owned cabin for a rest he's coming back from a run when he realizes someone is near. He decides to face the person in human form instead of wolf. He finds Jenna holding a rifle on him, thinking it might be a woman his brothers have sent he's not to worried. It becomes serious when he realizes she's serious and is taking him in. When his cousin comes along and finds them in a unique position he thinks its funny. It's the first time she's been captured and finding out Sarandon is a wolf throws Jenna thinking. But she bides her time because there are 2 of them and she knows she's out number and that she'll be dealing with his pack. After meeting 2 of his brothers and other members of the pack Jenna is still holding back on whether he's innocent or not but when she sees how everyone rallies around Sarandon is begins to believe he's innocent and they start to work together with his pack to find the real thief. As they progress in the case Jenna and Sarandon get closer together and realize that they're falling in love with each other. They begin to share their lives. Sarandon's family secrets are revealed as a possible motive for the identity theft. They head to Jenna's home to continue the case and to clear Sarandon's name. While unravelling the case they find there is more to the story than they thought. Sarandon finds his unknown family but there is still a fugitive on the loose. Jenna gets a lead and becomes injured bringing Sarandon back from Silver Town, Where decisions are finalized between Jenna and Sarandon. Jenna is always amazed at how close the whole community is. Commitments are made There is a surprise attack that ends the whole ordeal. New friends and relatives come together for a Spring Fling and a surprise wedding takes place. Three wolf packs come together in a couple different and unique ways.

I always look forward to reading Terry Spears' books they are entertaining, funny and show what true love can be like and how you just know when you've found the right person and wolf for you. I can't wait to read the next book in the Heart of the Wolf series and any shifter books her imagination can come up with. I'm just sorry I got such a late start in reading her books.

••••••••

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF is the twenty-fifth instalment in Terry Spear’s contemporary adult HEART OF THE WOLF paranormal, romance series. This is Silver Town wolf Shifter Sarandon Silver, and bounty hunter, she-wolf Jenna St. James’s story line. ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from third person perspective including Sarandon and Jenna, ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF focuses on wildlife tour operator and wolf shifter Sarandon Silver’s determination to prove his innocence when he is mistakenly targeted by a she wolf bounty hunter. Enter Jenna St. James, bounty hunter and wolf shifter, and the female with whom Sarandon will fall in love. What ensues is the slow building story line and romance between Jenna and Sarandon, as they search for the wolf impersonating our story line hero-a wolf whose resemblance to Sarandon goes more than skin deep.

ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF is a detailed and complex tale with a large ensemble case of secondary and supporting characters; many twists and turns that bring our couple in contact with another pack, a couple of rogue wolves, and the probability that not only is Sarandon targeted in a case of mistaken identity but identity theft as well. The premise is cleverly written; the romance is slow to build as our couple struggle with the possibility of a long-distance relationship as such that neither one is willing to walk away from family and friends; the numerous characters are passionate and spirited including the introduction of the St. James family; the leading couple is energetic and sensual.

I loved being back with the Silver Town pack again, as well as learning Sarandon’s story. If it’s one think I know abut this particular pack, something goes wrong they have your back, and this time that loyalty is going to come in quite handy for Sarandon. As a bounty hunter, Jenna knew her worth and her abilities yet she’d thought she was chasing down a human to bring to trial – not a wolf, and certainly not her mate. This mission just got complicated.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes in All’s Fair in Love and Wolf. To be frank I’m not really sure how to talk about those things without giving away vital spoilers. So I’m going to have to reign in my enthusiasm and perhaps fall into the vague areas. I was, however, very glad to see a very prevalent issue in our world make the transition over into the shifter world. It definitely made for an intriguing situation, and some serious action as the culprit is tracked down.

There are twists and turns in this story, and not everything is obvious through much of the story. The one thing that does ring true throughout is the sizzling attraction between Jenna and Sarandon. A compelling romance that will keep you flipping pages til the end. I loved being back in this world once again and this couple is well worth getting to know. It’s always good to see old friends and you can expect the Silver Town pack to be right in the action to clear Sarandon’s name – plus some surprises along the way. Looking for your next shifter fix? Then you need to go pick up All’s Fair in Love and Wolf. You’ll discover a steamy romance, a loyal pack and an unusual situation to be dealt with. I’d recommend this story and this series to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who loves a good story, likable characters, a puzzle to solve and those sizzling moments we’ve come to expect from any story from Terry Spear.

Identity theft can be a pain in the a$$, even when you're a shifter! That's what's happened to the Sarandon Silver. Add in the fact that the imposter even looks enough like him to pass as him to an outsider and he is royally irked! But silver linings on the clouds, a very determined bounty hunter (sorry Fugitive Recovery Agent!) is on his trail.

Jenna comes from a long line of FRA and has no plans to let her latest fugitive take her family to the cleaners. But once she has tased him, after finding out that he was also wolf, she finds herself believing his story that he has an imposter. Add in an extended family and townspeople saying the same things and Jenna wonders if she really does have the wrong man.

Family secrets are unearthed and Sarandon realises that he may just have some more family members he never know about!

Jenna is a strong female, physically and mentally. Sarandon is a 21st century wolf, he is not afraid to admit when he's wrong or doesn't know something. I loved they was Jenna was absorbed into pack life an how her family were equally taken with Sarandon. Sarandon is all about supporting his mate not overwhelming her personality with his own! No misogynistic a-hole tendencies here! YAY!

This is my first book by this Author .........but won't be my last .

Bounty hunter Jenna St James' latest job is bring back Sarandon Silver back for trial . Unfortunately when she catches up with him she discovers he is her 'mate' .
Sarandon sets out to convince Jenna that whilst he is her man he is not guilty , and does not want to go back for trial .
Silver Town is well known for being there when you need them ......now is such a time !
It is with the help of the Town that Jenna and Sarandon find a resolution to their problem............ and their own love .It was only working together that they were able to uncover that things weren't quite what they seemed .

Whilst I enjoyed the book - parts of the book did not quite flow as well as I liked BUT I will be revisiting the residents of Silver Town in the Authors other books .

I was given an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review - which is freely given ,

Silvertown nature tour guide Sarandon Silver's vacation didn't even start out the way he thought it would. As soon as he got to the cabin, bounty hunter, Jenna St. James was there to tackle and taser her fugitive. He quickly turned the tables and enlisted the pack's help to convince her maybe they should be thinking about mating instead of fugitives.

This outings highlight's included Sarandon finally getting a star turn, expanding the Silver Town wolf pack's reach to Colorado Springs with two new packs. Jenna's family and bounty hunter jobs offer plenty of opportunity to introduce new characters and adventure.

Unfortunately, for this reader's taste, the villain's comeuppance felt rushed, the story felt underdeveloped and light even with the cat and mouse of tracking and catching fugitives, plus I wasn't invested in Jenna or her family's quick acceptance of everything Sarandon. Also, this Sarandon was uncharacteristic against the Sarandon of earlier books.

I completely loved this couple's first meeting. Jenna is a recovery specialist...or a bounty hunter. It is a family gig since her mother is the bondswoman she, her father, and her two sisters hunt people down for. Her current fugitive to locate and bring back is Sarandon Silver.

Sarandon is surprised when a female he has never met before pulls a gun on him. It gets even more confusing when each realizes the other is a wolf and neither want to back down. In a case of what could be mistaken identity, or realistically identity theft, these two characters get together to track down the person who truly started the chain of events that brought Jenna into Sarandon's life.

It was a 3/5 for me. It was a good book.

Thank you to the publisher for the review copy of this book. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and the opinions stated above are 100% mine.

Sarandon finally finds his mate!

And what a she-wolf Jenna is. She is a bounty hunter come to take him in. I loved watching them get to know each other. The interest is there, but the trust had to be earned, it wasn't automatic, which I appreciate.

We got to revisit all the Silver Town Wolf pack, as well as meet interesting new wolves and packs. There was a lot of mystery in this story, which made it even better in my opinion. Vivid characters grow and develop while in an action oriented storyline. The breakneck pace really pulls you in and the tone is pretty upbeat for a mystery. You will want to at least read the other Silver Town Wolf books, if not the rest of the Heart of a Wolf series, as well as the Heart of a Jaguar series which is also mentioned. I can't wait for the next one! Enjoy!

Sarandon Silver who's in trouble with the law. According to the case, Sarandon was out on bail when he cut his ankle bracelet and took off. Bounty hunter, Jenna St James is in town to pick him up and take him back. But things are not as they appear and when the two meet, it's the start of things to come. All of Silver Town is ready to confirm Sarandon's whereabouts and there's a mystery to solve since the guy who had Sarandon's ID looks very similar to him.

I love Terry's shifters series and "All's Fair in Love and Wolf" is an excellent read. I highly recommend it to fans of shifters and the paranormal. While you can read this book on its own, it's an even better read when you at least read the other Silver Town Wolf books.

Sarandon Silver is a wolf shifter who's wanted by the law.  Unfortunately trying to prove his innocence is going to involve most of his pack.

Wolf shifter Jenna St. James is a bounty hunter in her mother's firm. She travels fully armed, and can easily handle most men, but didn't know this runner is also a wolf.

There is a lot of confusion about who the guilty party is.  Several different wolf packs will all be part of this before the end.

This is an exciting paranormal romance, full of danger for our fabulous characters that is part of a great series.  You will meet characters from the previous books but reading this won't spoil the others.

Lots of fun with some very sexy scenes.

-3.5 stars. enjoyed the story, the mystery, but the romance bored me.

the author makes it seem like a 4 hour drive is nothing. that its a regular easy occurrence. even a 10 hour drive is occasionally to be had. i'm not willing to regularly drive that far!

the female lead promises the male that she won't attempt to take down the bad guy without backup. then she gets called and told to come alone. despite it obviously being a setup, the female suddenly turns idiot, goes alone, and gets shot. surprise! *rolls eyes*.

A likeable addition to the series, this novel, which can be read as a stand-alone, is part contemporary suspense, part contemporary romance, and part supernatural wolves' adventure. The settings are described nicely and the mysterious case that needs to be solved has some twists and turns. The writing flows well too. For supernatural romance fans.

I liked this book but I have to admit it was not my favorite in the series. It was not bad but was a little long-winded in places overall the storyline was pretty good and I liked both Sarandon and Jenna but did not always buy them as being together. If you enjoyed the previous books you will want to give this a go

ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF by Terry Spear, book 8 of the Silver Town Wolf series

Unforgettable adventure for wolf shifter, Sarandon Silver, accused of identity theft. Can he convince the sexy, Fugitive Recovery Agent, Jenna St. James, that she got the wrong wolf? ALL’S FAIR IN LOVE AND WOLF is another Terry Spear’s amazing tale about wolf sifters on the hunt for a rogue wolf.

I really enjoyed this book, nice to see the last of the Silvers (that we know off!) settle down. I love Sarandon and Jenna as a couple! There was a great plot, though I hope for the sake of the Silver brothers & cousins that this is the last trouble to come to them because of the Quads late father!
