Stars in their eyes
A good read. Not as good as the first book but actually not sure why. The plot was well thought out and beautifully executed. The characters were brilliant as always but it just seem to have lost it's edge a bit.
When Sonia breaks up with her husband, for good this time, she purchases an old hotel that has suddenly come onto the market. A hotel that witnessed a murder 50 years ago when a film star was murdered in the bath. No-one had ever been charged with the crime. Now Sonia and Harlow are working to bring the hotel back to it's former glory. Then they intend to invite all the guest that were present at the murder to come and stay. However threats start appearing, the same kind of threats as happened 50 years ago. Can Charli and Scottie do their part in clearing up the old mystery. Undercover work, false identities, attempted murder, theft and general mayhem result in the search for the truth. Will it now become clear?
