Get Kira's free Prequel and read it first. Goodhearted Sofia is on the run after the insurance company figured out she had helped her twin sister receive cancer treatment on her health insurance during the last year. On her last quarter tank of gasoline more than half way across the country and trying to outrun Agent Callahan, at high speed, she jams on her brakes. Callahan gets around her but she loses control, spins and in the rain crashes the passenger side into a tree off the road. She gets out and runs through the forest, eventually seeing an isolated large cabin through the foggy rain, and arrives on the porch just as a young woman leaves telling her the guy interviewing wants a urine sample and plans for the nanny to live in and do the cooking and housework, too. She steps out of the rain, dripping wet, to get the last interview and a trial position with millionaire Lucas with an up front $500 cash. This high action, gut wrenching, sexually hot story never slows down! I was glad for the ARC I received and voluntarily reviewed. This full length novel came with three other of Blakely's novels!

Secret daddy by Kira Blakely a sublime five-star read. I really enjoyed this story, I will be honest and admit it wasn’t my favourite but this author but she has written some of the most amazing books I have read. The twisted webs we weave that’s what Sophia finds out when she is running from the law in the form of an insurance investigator who is out to get her for something she had no choice in. Sophia may be on the run from the law but she isn’t a nasty criminal but that’s her story to tell. While running she runs into a situation that couldn’t have been more perfect and along with it a Daddy that couldn’t be more perfect or hot, Lucas is definitely hot and his kids amazing, making him the all-round package. Thank you for keeping up the good work Kira.

Wow

That was bad. The H ex-wife had mental issue and should have been seeing someone and taking her meds, which she wasn't and the H, even though he knew she was unstable (she attacked their son) he still let her around the kids..un-freak'n believable. I had to skip pages just to finish this book. Not my cup of tea.

Lucas is trying to run his business from his cabin on top of a mountain. That might not be so challenging if he didn't have a couple of kids to manage as well. He needs help...in the form of a nanny but he has been having little luck filling the position...that is until a rain-soaked woman appears at his door in need of assistance. He mistakes her for another nanny applicant and Sophie does not correct him because she needs a place to hide, some money and a job. This could be the first good thing to come to her in a while and she grabs at the chance.

Sophie has a secret...she keeps this hidden from Lucas. She knows when Lucas runs a background check she will be discovered so she gives him false information - which should work for about a week before he finds out her name is not Maggie Marshall.

Besides running from the law, there are other challenges...not the least of which is taking care of two kids, a prepubescent teen and a 5 year old. There are other things but I am not going to tell you what they are because you will want to discover them all on your own.

I received a reader copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. It is a story about all the things that scare us and a way to work through them...that, and a healthy dose of heated moments with Daddy dearest. For me some of those times were a little to raw and inappropriate considering the circumstances other than that I really enjoyed the book.

One of Kira Blakely’s best books to date. She leaves no stone un-turned and keeps you captivated from beginning to end.
Sophia is on the run for helping her twin sister, Maggie. She ends up in small town near the mountains. She wrecks her car and runs through the woods trying to lose the agent that is following her. She finds herself on the doorstep of a beautiful cabin in the woods. Lucas is looking for a nanny for his two children, Charlie and Madison. He gives Sophia a quick interview asking about her credentials. She gives him all her information to run a background check etc… Of course, she comes up clean on everything with no red flags; she is using her twin sister, Maggie’s information. The chemistry with Lucas and Sophia is strong from the start. They have a difficult time ignoring it. Things happen un-expectantly. They fight this attraction for a long time. Things begin to get strained due to Sophia not being completely honest, and due to Lucas’s ex-wife, Astrid (what a flipping name!) You will read about a love that has no end and what it means to protect those you love and cherish in this world. I find this is more than one-click worthy. HOWEVER, I insist you buy or borrow this book to see how things turn out for Lucas and Sophia. Will they get their HEA they rightly deserve? Will Sophia go to prison for fraud? You will not know unless you read this and find out. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

There are I believe 3 stories in this book. The first book I wanted to rate 3 stars. It was okay. But my, Sofia was freaking stupid. Thought only about relieving her sexual frustration. Didn't know the guy and had unprotected sex after the first night and more thereafter... And what's with the constant coitus interruptus? Was that supposed to be funny? She was totally weak throughout the story.

The second story was worse:
1. Harper was totally selfish and very judgmental of Brayden. She always immediately thought of the worse about him and acted before thinking. So she leaves him, gets apprehended by the cops and spent time in a holding cell. Yet when picked up, taken to the jet and was asked by Brayden if she would marry him, all she said was "yes". What the what?!
2. Ripley. So he touches your punani (even hurts you with his nail), open your room door with his key without your consent and was dragging you and what did you do? NOTHING! No cops, no pressed charges, no telling Brayden. STUPID!
3. So Brayden is rich, influential, knows a lot of people..... hmmmm..... yet, all he did was jet after his niece to France and doesn't get any authorities involved.
4. You lose your resort to probably the Russian Mafia (was not really that clear to me who they were) and yet you stay on the island close to that resort.

Needless to say that Harper was one of my least liked heroines.
I don't think I'll be reading the 3rd story, I'll DNF and call uncle. So sorry.....

This is a story about, Sofia who needs to pretend to be Maggie as she is running from an insurance fraud she participated in to save her twin sister, Maggie. One rainy night after she crashes her car she lands on Lucas’s doorstep soaking wet to the bone. A small miracle occurs and she finds herself a temporary nanny for Lucas and his two children, Charlie and Madison. Lucas is a very wealthy man with a crazy ex wife. Lucas gives her $500 in cash and does a intense background check on her as Maggie and once things come back clean she has a job and a place to hid! The insurance comapny hired Agent Callahan to find her and bring her in to be prosecuted for her fraud and he never gives up! Once Lucas and Maggie start a relationship they know they are flirting with danger and her past will not go away and she can not hide from it for ever. Sofia has become very involved with all their lives and has fallen in love with them! As things start to unravel can Lucas keep Sofia safe along with his children? How will Sofia ever deal with her past to move forward with the bright future in front of her? This story also has several other full novels by Kira that are all wonderful reads. Review for Secret Daddy-Kira Blakely

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for a fair and honest review. Sofia needs a place to hide out and some cash to get back on the road, Lucas needs a nanny and when he sees Sofia at in his foyer mistakes har as an applicant. Sofia is out of options, she’s crashed her car, running from Agent Callahan, schlepped through the forest and stumbled upon Lucas’s doorstep. She introduces herself as Maggie Marshall, maintains the nanny agency sent her ruse and she’s tentatively hired pending a back ground check. By the time Lucas returns from his business, Sofia will hit the road again. No harm, no foul. Lucas is divorced and has custody of his children. There’s a problem with his ex wife Astrid that we don’t learn about util later on in the book. When Sofia finds herself plastered over the local news we find out that she is Wanted for insurance fraud. 24 hours later, Lucas ends his two year sexual dry spell in the kitchen with Sofia/Maggie. When Lucas’s brother James comes to visit, Maggie’s cover is almost blown. This is a typical Kira Blakely book, really good character development, a bit of a mystery, Hot and steamy.

Secret Daddy is Sofia and Lucas's story. Lucas is a man trying to run his business and raise his child all at the same time, Lucas responsibilities start to weigh on him and he decides he must hire a nanny. Sofia is on the run and is involved in a car accident that leaves her stranded in the middle of a storm. Sofia takes off from the accident seeking shelter and comes upon a cabin in the woods. Lucas mistakes her for an applicant for the nanny job. Sofia decides to play along and starts to fall into a routine. The chemistry is undeniable between the two main characters, they are instantly attracted to one another. The two find it hard to stay away from one another, once they have a taste they can't help wanting more. Sofia hasn't been straight forward with Lucas and when he finds out what she has been hiding will they be able to move forward, you will have to read and find out. Kira Blakely definitely kept me on the edge of my seat with this story there were so many twists and turns, I couldn't put it down, I had to know how Lucas and Sofia's story was going to end. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book for an honest review and I'm so glad I did because it was so good.

Sofia is on the run and by chance stumbled upon millionaire Lucas's home when he is interviewing for a live in nanny. Lucas knows the minute he sees her she can't be the nanny when he is so attracted to her but he still hires her. Sofia gives her sister name and references for his background check. Sofia hits it off with his kids and manages to maintain the schedule he set up for her what she couldn't do was listen to his one rule. Dress respectfully within the home so not to entice him. One night she forget and went to the kitchen in a sexy nighty and Lucas lost control and they have sex. When Lucas does find out who and what she's accused of its too late she already a part of the family. Her only crime was trying to save her sister but it very well may be what lands her in jail. Will Sofia start running again?

This was a great story I couldn't put it down once I started. The chemistry between Lucas and Sofia is off the charts hot. This is a must read if you haven't gotten it you really should.

I loved it! Fantastic book. Sofia is running from Agent Callahan for insurance fraud. When she see's an old blue Mustang following her, she tried to get away and hit a tree. She took off running in the rain through the woods and finally saw a cabin. As she went up to knock, a girl came out and told her she would have to pass a drug test to be the nanny. Sofia knocked on the door and Lucas thought it was still the other girl. He told her to come in or shut the door. When Lucas realized it was someone else, he assumed she was sent for an interview. After interviewing her, he told her she had the job for a week until her background check came back. She had told him she was Maggie Marshall, which is her twin sister that she helped with her insurance because her sister had cancer and no insurance. When they accidentally touched, the electricity went through both of them. They both tried to avoid it but they decided one time wouldn't hurt. What will Lucas do when he finds out the truth about Sofia? I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I absolutely loved this latest book by Ms Blakely. Sofia and Lucas were such a great couple. I loved the story line of this book. Sofia is on the run and has just run out of gas on the outskirts of a small town near a cabin. She goes up to the cabin and realizes she has an opportunity to hide from the insurance investigator trying to follow her. Lucas is a man who has gone back to his home town after his divorce. He is in need of a nanny for his two children. Sofia sees chance to pose as the next person to apply for the job. This story had a lot of great parts to it. You have two people trying to fight their attraction to one another. Two kids who are having a hard time adjusting to their new live. Sofia is able to get through to them. A crazy ex who tries to get back the family she left. A man who just wants to find happiness again. And a new baby. Lucas and Sofia have such great chemistry. Enjoyed how everything work out in the end.

4.5 stars Excellent contemporary billionaire & nanny romance. The author makes the trials and tribulations of the main characters realistic so that readers also feel what's happening with the characters. Lucas may have money but he works hard and has very real problems and needs. He is trying to raise his two children while dealing with an ex-wife who has severe mental health issues. Sophia/Maggie was on the run from the law due to fraud. She happened to show up at Lucas's house as he was trying to hire a nanny. Lucas is 10- 15yrs older than Sophia/Maggie. The story is well written but there is just something a bit different about this story that wasn't the normal Kira Blakely book. It has intrigue, romance, suspense and takes place during the Christmas holidays. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Blakely.

I voluntarily read an ARC of this book. Sofia used her insurance to save her twin sister Maggie's life but is now on the run for insurance fraud, Hunted down by agent Callahan Sofia crashes her car and stumbles onto Lucas's doorstep desperate for somewhere to hide she lets Lucas believe the agency sent her for the position of a nanny after she gives her sisters name the check comes back clear and Sofia accepts the job after all it's only for a little while what harm could it do, Problem is Sofia didn't count on falling in love with the little family and with agent Callahan and Lucas ex causing problems what will happen when the lies are exposed could the passion building between Sofia and Lucas be enough or will it all come crashing down around Sofia's head. This book is full of secrets and lies with plenty of romance to spice things up I absolutely love Kira's work and would one click any of her books without a second thought.

Lucas is trying to raise two children after a difficult divorce and is looking for a nanny to help him. Sofia is on the run from a fraud investigator and arrives at Lucas’s house as he is interviewing nannies. He thinks she is applying for the job and she thinks this is a good place to hide. Lucas decides to help when Sofia has to come clean with who she is and why she is on the run. They have several obstacles to overcome with a lot to lose if they do not succeed.
The attraction between the two is instant, hot and sweet. There are several twist and turns to this story which adds to the plot along with the very interesting secondary characters. This story was great-it kept you interested and in suspense also the sex was steamy hot. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Lucas is a loving father and owner of his own company. Which doesnt leave much time to juggle both career and fatherhood. Thanks to a divorce from his unstable wife, he's in need of a nanny. Sofia loves her sister and committed a fraud to keep her safe and healthy. Though now that sacrifice has her on the run from the law. While trying to escape the agent after her she meets Lucas. It was kismet for them both. He would get a nanny and she would get a place to hide out if only for a little while. The chemistry was instant but it was more than just sexual, it was exactly what the other was missing in their life. It doesn't take long for love to blossom not just between the pair but for the children as well. To earn a happily ever after they must first overcome Sofia's fugitive status and a unstable ex-wife. A beautiful story of love, sacrifice, and fate.

She was running from the law. He was looking for a nanny. Lo and behold she stumbles into the home of Lucas Gray of the Graytech company and fortune. Sophia Marshall, pretending to be her twin Maggie, lands the job as the new nanny for Charlie and Madison Gray. It would appear to be love at first sight for both Lucas and Sophie, and they really do try to keep there hands off each other, in theory anyway. One thing leads to another, then we meet Astrid, Lucas' ex-wife, and of course Agent Callahan who's after Sophia, and Lucas' brother James. It's a delightful romp what with the law, the bi***y ex and keeping and revealing secrets. Loved all the players and their interactions with one another. Fun story with a little added suspense.

The attraction between Sofia and Lucas is instant and they both find it impossible not to give into their desires. When her past catches up to her will Lucas understand what happened? Will they be able to overcome all the obstacles set to keep them apart? Read this sexy and suspenseful read to find out.

Ooooh I like this book, I devour it in one sitting.
So many drama, lies and secrets. It keeps me on edge from the first chapter.
There's so many feelings through out this book. I got teary, feel the frustrations, and plenty smuttyness.
It's a fast sweet romance with suspense mystery and packed with emotions, although some parts a bit unfitting, this book still one of my fav from Kira Blakely.

As for characters. I loveeee Lucas, hot single dad is my weakness and with his possessiveness, I'm so in love with him.
And Sofia, I admire this girl, she'll do anything to protect people she loves. She's a fighter and survivor.
I like Lucas and Sofia as a couple, they're so perfect for each other and don't forget all the hotness this couple bring.

If you're looking romance read with suspense and a lot of hotness, this book is for you.

I love this book. Shoutout! Sofia is one sassy lady & Lucas is drool worthy. The story is original and enveloping and beautifully written with a Christmas theme. I felt the crackling sexual tension growing between them as the story stormed ahead. Which made me feel like I was elicitely eavesdropping on them. Sofia has a warm heart & Lucas had felt lost and unfulfilled. Astrid, Lucas’s ex wife, is a wonderful ticking time bomb to add to the mix. I knew what was coming towards the end but it in no way affected my enjoyment. Of course it all ended with a HEA. I think Kira is an exceptional writer. I’m looking forward to more books from her. Kira gave me a copy of her book which I thoroughly enjoyed. I leave my honest opinion.

What a great story that will grab your attention and keep you page turning. An emotional roller coaster that will have you laughing one minute and crying the next. After his divorce, Lucas is trying to run a billion dollar company and manage two children. In desperate need of a nanny he is delighted when a wet and desperate Sofia appears at his door. She's desperate and on the run from the law so she pretends to be the nanny applicant. She knows he will find out about her when he runs the background check so she gives him a fake name in order to buy some time. Chemistry that's off the charts, secrets that come to light, legal problems and a baby on the way. Lots of drama and surprises and a great read. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

I loved this book! I felt pulled in right from the start, and oh the emotions!

Sophia is on the run, being chased by Private Investigator for the insurance company she defrauded. But it was for a very good reason, she has no regrets, and would do it again.

Lucas is trying hard to make things better for his children, who are struggling to adjust after their parents divorce.

Are they the answer to each other's problems?

This book is so well written, and the characters so real you fell you know them. You just feel for them and want to help them. There is so much emotion and passion you will be turning page after page, lost in the amazing story of Sophia and Lucas. I definitely would recommend this book!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Sofia is on the run for insurance fraud for helping her twin sister Maggie for chemo treatments. Her car breaks down during a storm & she ends up at Lucas’ cabin in the woods. He happens to be looking for a nanny & thinks she is on of the applicants. She uses her sister Maggie’s info so she won’t get caught on the background check. Lucas’s ex is a piece of work and is insanely jealous. His brother James questions Maggie(Sofia). The agent looking for her is getting closer. She & Lucas end up together & falling in Love. But can that love keep her safe from the people looking for her for fraud, his ex wife looking to get rid of her & the baby she’s now carrying. Can they survive it all?

When fate is a force we can be played exactly where we need to be. Sophie has quite a bit already on her plate, and hiding out as a nanny for Charlie and Madison Gray wasn't a bad plan. Unfortunately the instant attraction between Sophie and Lucas Gray kicks up a whole other problem. The two try to resist their very palpable chemistry, but this relationship it on a countdown to disaster thanks to secrets and a real piece of work ex. The problems aside, the romance is beautifully told and highly enjoyable. I had a great time with this read and the pages flew by as I couldn't wait to see what would come next. The plot is great and characters have nice touches. A read I would completely recommend. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy.

Woo! Secrets, lies, fantasies, crazy ex's, naughty stolen moments, love and so much more is what you're going to get with Kira Blakely's newest yummy tale!
Lucus needs a nanny ASAP! After every potential candidate for the position has gone south for one reason or another, has him ready to give up hope for the day. Until the women looking like a drowned rat standing in his doorway, gives Lucus a little glimmer of hope- well, he gets a feeling of some kind anyway.
Offering Maggie ( Sofia ) the job is probably not the best idea due to his immense attraction towards her, and what his jealous unstable ex will say or do when she see's the beautiful young Maggie- but his kids have been through enough, they need stability, and he needs the help. Lucus will just have to control himself...
What a fast-paced, hot times, tabooed but so much fun being naughty storyline! This drama laced secrets hidden out in the open suspense with some "Ex" tra special twists and turns made this call me daddy be my nanny Holiday lovefest was a story I did not want to put down!
Kira Blakely did a stellar job taking a hot sexy romance, with suspense, mystery, and some sweet family ties bringing them all together into one helluva story I thoroughly enjoyed!
