Is America on a Collision Course with God? There is a direct correlation between the alarming number of massive disasters striking America and her leaders pressuring Israel to surrender her land for “peace.” Costing hundreds of lives and causing hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of damage, dozens of disasters have hit America—and always within twenty-four hours of putting pressure on Israel. These disasters have included earthquakes, raging fires, hurricanes, floods, tsunamis, and tornadoes. What can you do as an individual—and what can America do—to change the direction of our country in relation to Israel and prevent the increasing number of calamities?
For those who have not kept up with current events and politics, the first half of the book is a real eye-opener.
For those who already know about the U.S. - Israel connection, I recommend skimming over the first half of the book and starting with part two on page 211. If you've ever struggled with the Bible in reading Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah or Revelation, then the latter half of this book puts it into proper perspective.
The most disheartening thing about this book is that you realize that "prophecy" is being fulfilled now and that end times is not just in some distant future for people 300 years from now to deal with -- we are seeing the demise of the U.S., the rise of Islam, Russia and China and the inevitable world crises that will evolve from these happenings.
Just finished reading McTernan's book. It is very well documented. Some of the historical events he recounts of American leadership's role in supporting Israel and Jewish support of America are not publicized much. I found the historical accounts very interesting and well written. I appreciate that he stays away from sensationalizing specific recent events into yet-unfulfilled Biblical prophecies, yet illustrates the general trend of events. Having been a student of prophecy for a long time, I have general agreement with his interpretation of how the Bible end-time events will unfold. It doesn't look good for America unfortunately. Whether our decline in mideast and world influence is due to treating Israel badly & suffering the consequences, or God's judgement on our moral failures, or a result of our own mistakes is anyone's guess. Probably all are involved. In any case the book's theme is well-presented. For those who take the Bible seriously it is a worth-while read. For those who don't take the Bible seriously, reading it might help to rethink what life is all about.
I picked this book up at a used book sale and I'm so glad I did. Had never heard of the author, but I'm really impressed with his studied prose, well documented and Scripture-based. Even though I've lived through many of the disasters mentioned in the book, I had no idea their proximity to the United States' treatment of Israel. And it makes complete sense...not conspiracies but truth. While there is not a lot of hope for America's future, there is everlasting hope for believers, so the book does not end in despair. Excellent read!
"As America Has Done To Israel" is a book that shows you the linked history between Israel and The United States, the crucial participation of the american christian church and the consecuences on trying of divide Israel's land.
Anyone interested in knowing why the US is the traditional ally of Israel and why it is pertinent to you and your country (if you're not american) should read this book.
The revelation of the contents of this book is staggering eye opener of the salvation we are waiting for! May this will find peace and an eye opener for Christians who believed that " Once saved always been save" We as Christian's have much thing to prepare like the 10 virgins in the parable of Jesus! Looking for that blessed hope of the coming of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!
"I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed." Genesis 12:3 is the key verse for this incredibly enlightening book. The author, John McTernan, brilliantly takes current events happening in the United States and correlates them with what is happening in our relationship with Israel.
You do not have to take the authors word for the connection. You will find ample examples of newspaper articles and television reports to support the sometimes eerie correlation. A section on page 188 states, "The connection between the United States government pressuring Israel to destroy twenty-five settlements on the covenant land and Katrina’s destruction is obvious." This is followed with a timeline and list of similarities between the two events. The author presents other examples of our wrongful treatment of Israel. These examples are then matched with different difficulties the United States encountered. Did you know that on March 2, 1997 Arafat met with then President Clinton and the same day awesome tornado storms caused tremendous damage and flooding in five states? This and many more correlation’s can be found in this exciting book.
As you read the book you will be begin to pray for America’s relationship with Israel knowing that it can affect our life here in the United States. A great book and a must read for anyone interested in history, natural events and the welfare of Israel.
I was given this book by christianreviewofbooks.com to review
This book is full of research chronicling America's relationship with Israel, and corresponding disasters that have befallen America when we turn our backs on Israel. Frightening and fascinating at the same time. Well researched and documented. A good read. I had an opportunity to have John McTernan as a guest on my radio show, "Divine Intervention" and to hear him tell his story first hand. He was amazing, and very interesting. You can listen to the interview here:
I just began reading this book, but my excitement is already five star! God gave this author an amazing revelation: Every time a representitive of our country has tried to pressure Israel into giving up it's land for peace . . . our nation suffers incredible natural disasters. Within twenty-four hours. Sound compelling?
Some will see this as conspiracy theory, but you can not argue with facts the author points out. He cites many known news stories about US and Israel relations and the consequences that followed. Don't write it off. Check out this book which encourages us to bless Israel before we are judged for turning our backs on Gods chosen people.
This is a very good book that ALL Americans must read. It helps us to understand the blessings and the curses of the Abrahamic Covenant of Genesis 12:3 and the weather patterns of America and the politics of support for Israel by the American people and leadership. If we do not support Israel America is judged. Read this book. It is worth it!!
Very interesting history of Israel's past and present, particularly with respect the impact the Jewish people had on the early history of the US. Also, interesting parallel between America's diplomatic actions and the natural disasters the US has faced.
So good, I read it twice. It really makes a strong case to support our allies. We need to stop aiding the enemies against both Israel and America. We will be judged as a nation.
