A Drackon Christmas
Enjoyed the book. Can be read as a stand-alone but since parts 1-6 are included with this book you can catch up with all the awesome characters in the series.

Noelle Evergreen loved Christmas, but she was feeling somewhat “down” that a special someone was not with her. Everything reminded her of her Christmas loneliness. This was silly – she was doing well since her return to Earth, having a great job as a high-ranking buyer for a fashion brand with a good salary. She had friends and dates. But no one could measure up to the weredragon, Gavonn.
Noelle’s friend, Betty, called to meet for drinks and give her some news! As they sat at their table, Betty told her she had signed up and been matched to a man from the planet Mooreah. She would be leaving soon. She hadn’t wanted to upset Noelle, so she didn’t tell her about signing up until the match was definite. Noelle answered Betty’s questions about what it was like; but she had lost her weredragon two years before in a battle, and the information about what happened was classified. She didn’t know if he was dead or alive – she just missed him so much.
Gavonn had been waiting for his bride when her ship was attacked. A lengthy battle followed, but all records were lost regarding survivors. Gavonn was unable to find any information about Noelle. Finally he did as his father asked and married a Drackon female, but it was a very unhappy married with a selfish, angry wife. It was never like his brief time with Noelle on Earth, and he avoided his shrewish, unloving wife through his many missions away from home.
Noelle was in a meeting when they asked her if she would be their ambassador to go to the Drackons to purchase their fabric, made of a very strong material, for the new line of clothing they were introducing. Noelle was delighted! Betty would be going ahead and could take a letter to Gavonn – if he were still living – and tell him where she would be on Sala.
Betty exited the ship to meet Ritona, her finance. Ritona introduced her to Gavonn who had accompanied him for moral support. Betty’s mouth dropped open! She gave Gavonn the letter and he was overjoyed. Until he remembered he was married and adultery would mean prison, exile, or worse. Now what would he do? Noelle would be on Sala the next day! His wife was currently on Sala too! Did he have any options at all? Or should he avoid seeing her again and allow her to leave when her 3-day trip ended?
I love these alien books! And with it having a Christmas theme, we can hope for the best – if indeed there is some sort of solution possible. Get your copy and find out! The book is fast-paced and interesting. The dialog is a bit stilted, but it’s easy to follow!

This is the Drackon Christmas miracle or is it? Two yrs ago Noelle Evergreen was on her way to meet her Drackon mate Gavoon. All did not go as planned war had broken out and Noelle's ship was attacked. All presumed the ship was lost. Gavin was forced to marry a women he did not love by his father and Noelle returned to Earth lost and alone.
Now a chance of a life time has occurred, a chance to return to a planet near Gavoon's home.Will she find him or has he perished in the war? How is his wife going to take the news that Noelle is still alive? Come find out how the future will play out. I give it 5 stars. Christmas with her Drackon
It was interesting seeing Noelle teach Gavonn about her Christmas traditions. I think it would be neat to share that with someone who has no idea what it's all about. I did enjoy the relationship between Noelle and Gavonn, but I didn't like the fact that he was still married. To me that's totally wrong. I wish that there had been some work around--maybe like she did something illegal so that freed him up. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book, and I borrowed it through the Kindle Unlimited program too.

This was definitely not what I expected and even though I found this to be a interesting and entertaining read I didn't like the infidelity aspect of the story. I understand due to circumstances and the dying wish of his dad Gavonn made the decision he did. But if he was so miserable with his wife he should've have done things the right way. Overall enjoyable Christmas read. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no minority compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Not bad
I enjoyed most of the stories in this book. I was surprised to find out it had more than just the holiday story on the cover. Many of the characters had flaws to them such as cheaters, liars, and betrayers. Most of the stories also had HEA. There is a good mix in there to keep you happily reading. The only reason I didn't give the story five stars was due to a lot of editing issues. Other than that, I found some new series to read.

Good imagination
But the writing of the story felt off. Like Words used to describe what I assume are FBI or military persons by heroine as warriors? Others that were understanding by him but not her. Other is the planet meeting mix up. No way is that believable. Especially since they were “matched” t would be akin to an international crisis and they would have found him the info about her being alive.

Not what I was expecting but I found this to be a very interesting book and this particular drackon very challenging! I love Ms. Starr's books and this one just as much but it definitely kept me on my toes! And finally thank goodness they got their happily ever after!! I voluntarily reviewed a gifted advance reader copy of this book

This is a lovely second chance Romance. Noelle registered to be a Drackon bride and met Gavonn the man of her dreams, but war happened and each thought the other to bed dead. A couple years later fate hands them a second chance but things have changed.

A Christmas miracle. Noelle lost her love a few years ago. He was an alien and due to a war she doesn’t even know if he survived. Now she has a chance, even though a very slim chance, to find out. Will she get her Christmas wish or will she have to make the thought decision to go on without knowing? Lots of hot romance and some adventure.

A Drackon Christmas
Maria Starr has again hit the jackpot. This Christmas book is just as good as all her others. I've yet to read one of her books that hasn't had it all...intrigue, interest, hot sex, aliens, HEA. Every one needs to read her books, add to your TBR list or keep in your library until you get a chance to read.

A heartwarming quick read for the holidays. Noelle Evergreen and her matched mate, Captain Gavonn Viox, were separated before their mating could be formalized. Two years later they meet again but circumstances force them to run off together or risk criminal prosecution. This is another well written standalone novella. The lengths that Noelle and Gavonn are willing to go for love is amazing.

Joyously Fantastic
Holidays fun in the making , a love that last though some bad times (loved the suspense) came out to be a perfect Christmas of joy and Happiness. Oh yeah, I forget to mention it gets a little steamy, if you know what I mean. A great Christmas love story. Only downside , it didn't last long enough. Loved it.

The story is well written like all the stories I have read by Maia Starr . The characters are well developed. The only thing I didn't like was the male is married. The plot twist is good. I would read her stories again.

Loved this book ! I really like shifter books but dragon shifters are my favorite. It's a beautiful Christmas story with lots of emotions, twists and turns in this book; you will not be able to put it down? A must buy and highly recommended series.

I enjoyed the book. Noelle and Gavonn are likeable characters. It is s stand alone book. There are other books in the Drackon series, but you didn't not need to read the others to enjoy this

This book is about two people who loved each other and had been matched and were to be married. One was a human woman named Noelle, the other a weredragon warrior by the name of Gavonn. They were lost to each other when war broke out on the planet they were to meet, neither could find the other. Both thought that other had been killed in the first attack, it wasn't until two years later they found the truth that both had survived.
Unfortuantly, Gavonn had married a year before, and it was against the law to be with another. When he sees Noelle again, his feelings are still as strong. He couldn't stop himself, he had to be with Noelle, and she with him.
Maia Starr takes the reader through the reunion, and on a wild ride as they run away as criminals. True love never dies.
