Stereotype Accuracy: Toward Appreciating Group Differences

Rate this book
Looks at stereotyping empirically and challenges the conventional thinking that stereotypes are always inaccurate and exaggerated. Essays on theoretical, conceptual, methodological, and empirical issues examine the cognitive and attitudinal processes that underlie stereotyping, and present research on stereotype accuracy. Topics include stereotype accuracy in multicultural business, and teacher expectations based on students' gender, social class, and ethnicity. Includes a section of opposing views. Interesting, I think I one has to know more on MBIT to really get through this book in more detail. Happy I read some financial books before including it or some socio books yet most the illustration or charts are hard to input and only are for statistics.

My next book naked statistic is to dig more out of it but charts or illustration would be more understood if it were done in a bell curve graph. The graphs are not meant for a psychology look but more of a sociological look at cataloging data not the revelant or inhibiting observation.

Also some of the algorithm used might be needing knowledge of bedmas, just saying the algorithm might be made for zombification more so on how data zombifies yet. Like dogs are domestic they are less smart to survive alone, yet with humans domesticated they can't can, save money, cook food, etc or etal the word they use, so are we really getting smarter changing this or seeing this, with affirmative action.
One could argue the high anxiety and the low sanity one deals has no balance yet women wearing tight cloths is often seen as anxiety relieving and like a weighted blanket. Same goes for men watch people at certain times of the month or in cycles of the moon is anxiety relieving but is consider toxic masculine.

Should more be like vitriol assertion be the issue here yet one goes by stereotypes getting stilled by Lunic which is bad terminology yet we still categorized the inaccuracies of exaggeration or expectations,
One can only presume that a person only has 40% of their learning capability on less than 5 hours of sleep says Matthew walker in his book why we sleep.

Are we a culture sleep deprived that's causing anxiety so high and low sanity That we can’t get balanced. With the young having for granted any amount of roots still alive yet the old have less roots and less delay.

Maybe the mexicans are right. Americans are machines. Yet mexicans are not doing so well in this time management or deadline era of social economic status says or low IQ cause poverty or poverty cause low IQ is another stereotype that is shifting standards and has huge ecological ramifications.

Really we should be giving everybody a guaranteed income. All ready half of Albertans living in this Province are subsidized it wouldn’t be such a huge leap to do the other half in wealth distribution schemes and yet men needing sabbatical or paternity leave would be more flexible on getting it if they could have more manoeuvring power. Most people say men are in the higher income making more than women well a guaranteed income could give men more time off to raise women’s wages in that bracket of getting payed less. Most people would like that time yet can’t afford it with sex discrepancies that are allowed time off and subsidized and others that are not.

So far we have only seen welfare work for the lower IQ yet that’s not the issue for lots on pensions or retirement on doing work or other things yet
Being domesticated goes to show improvement in areas are more left for outsourceing trouble or technology being over rated for a higher IQ are doubtfully going to use it for there advantage even more so with a guaranteed income that would more so get rid(disappear mostly due) or the negative stereotypes on ablism/ageism as a deadly sin in Marxist para Christian deadly sins and the hellenist para Christian deadly sins
