I finished this book in just about 2 hours. i skipped a large portion of it becuase it didn't apply to me. A large portion of this book focuses on career-based stress. I'm disabled, and therefore unemployed, so the career-based info just didn't fit me more. There was some helpful information i will hang onto, but overall, it just wasn't for me.

Overall, a great guide to managing stress in all areas of life. It's a consolidation of tips that you're probably heard other places, but it's great to have them all gathered together. The book is a bit dated, as it was written in the late 90's, but the advice is sound. If you're looking for one, good guide to stress management, this is a good pick.

When work stress is making me physically ill again, I know that I've fallen off the stress management wagon and need a refresher! Same ole, same ole content.
