The poems are sophomoric with basic rhyme schemes, contrived sentences, and bouncy cadences reminiscent of English class projects I did as a child. However, the novelty of such childish enthusiasm directed at such unglamorous subjects imbues this extremely short pamphlet with a certain charm.
