It's basically a good story, but it doesn't agree with Scripture on some points. For example, no unbelievers will enter the millennial kingdom. Believers who enter will have children and repopulate the earth I time. Many of those children will reject Jesus. Also, people aren't going to become stupid and lose knowledge. The other problem I had was with the main character, Ruth. I didn't like her and couldn't relate to her at all. She just didn't seem completely real to me. I'm going to try reading the next book anyway and see what I think then.
I couldn't put it down, read it in one day! I love reading about time travel & (spoiler alert) Jerusalem! What an adventure! Good for children& adults. Think my grandsons will enjoy it too!
This is exciting, even gripping. Hard to put down. But some of the author’s take on the Millennium seemed a bit strange—still, who knows, for unlike Ruth, none of us have been there. The contrast between believer and unbeliever was well done. Recommended.
I really enjoyed this book. It's a wonderful story of time travel told with a Christian message. It was a very suspenseful story that kept me reading because I didn't want to put it down. I definitely am looking forward to the next book in the series.
