This book was interesting in the sense that it exposed me to a whole different way of life and a different culture historically. I was completely unaware of how restricted women were at the time. Although it was a good book, I think the ending was a little anti-climatic.
As a person who lives in a country in which chinese histoty is unnecesary, this was an interesting way of learning a bit about the culture. It was catchy, although, if you have knowledge of chinese history, then the ending could be a bit east to guess.
