Great ideas!

I really liked this guide. My favorite so far of this author’s books. I especially liked how he divided his suggestions into “tiers” or levels of necessity. Some things I never would have thought of, he did, and included them. Also plenty of links to acquire some of the supplies needed. Highly recommend!

Easy to read

The author is very relatable in his conversation with the reader and doesn't come off as preachy. Filled with a lot of good information for those looking to build a practical bug out bag.

Some good ideas can be found here; however the book is heavy on relying on locating those very supplies on his web site. Still one could use the specific suggested items and check on availability at multiple sites as well as pricing. Even better when the task is completed do a mock run in an unobstructed area and test yourself on endurance while knowing in a disaster stress will be just one of the added factors.

Beginner

As a beginner to this concept I have to say I love this book! It gave me the information on how to get started and where to find the items mentioned. So informative. I now have an extensive Wish list with Amazon! On to the next book by Damian Brindle.

Superficial

This book is more of a pamphlet. It skims many topics and does nothing to explore circumstances. The focus of an urban bug-out is abruptly introduced with other options given little or no consideration. Superficial.
