Finding Faith

Rate this book
Faith Kometo cleans out the church coffers of a quaint village, flees on foot from pitchfork-wielding townsfolk, and ends up entangled in the veil between parallel worlds by a primordial spirit with Hayden Cox, an elite scout with the Order of Hunters, hot on her trail.

It’s taken Hayden two years and three timelines to trap his gargouille prey—a member of the Kometo clan. Now that he has his target in hand, he’ll stop at nothing to unearth the truth behind the order, genocide, and love’s pull.

I loved reading this book so much that I did not want the story to end. So many characters especially Faith and Hayden they are fated for each other. The plot was unique in that it was exciting and extremely interesting and the subplots kept me wondering what was going to happen next. There was twists and turns, confusion, danger, loss, betrayal, murder, war and romance. An excellent read. I voluntarily received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book.

The 12th book in the Soul Mate Tree series, and in this outing, we come to know Faith – a gargouille, or gargoyle and the hunters that have almost hunted her species to extinction. This book is a shorter, novella length and it jams quite a bit into its pages, but could definitely have been flushed out more. One of the confusing parts about this book, is the different timelines and parallel worlds, and trying to keep what happened in each world compared to the final one we enter.

The romance was a bit too sudden, even within this series of fantasy, I think the pull of a soul mate between Hayden and Faith goes from zero to a hundred in a bit too short of a timeline. But all-in-all, this is a fitting addition to this series on a whole and it had enough action and a few good twists to keep me turning pages. Reviewed by Cyrene

Love is a battlefield for these two. There is a lot going on in their story and at times I was confused as to which world they were in, lol but its an adventurous tale as they get several attempts to right some wrongs. The history of the life/fate of Faith and her family definitely dominants the plot. She finds a true keeper in Hayden who is smitten but there isn't much time for romance because they have to constantly fight to survive. The fight scenes are intense and graphic which I was not prepared for so I was grunting right along through those. Faith is more than Hayden could have ever bargained for as a soul mate.

I received an ARC and willingly post my honest review.

Faith and Hayden have been moving between parallel worlds for a while now she running for her life he trying to take for a crime she not her family has committed. She believes her family is dead from the other worlds she has past through. But at this time when she lands in this world where instead of Hagen trying to take her life he is trying to save it. They hide inside a tree from the town's people, but this tree is special and the Tree Spirit delivers information that is essential to their lives together. A pretty good story line. I received a copy as a gift by the author. I am providing an honest review without obligation.

A unique take on the enemy to lovers story, Finding Faith is gripping tale filled with interesting characters and intriguing mythology. Luna is a talented writer who knows how to keep her reader engaged until the last page. I couldn’t help but be captivated by Faith and Hayden, nor could I prevent myself from rooting for them.

If you are looking for something different, try Finding Faith.
