Shiba, the once-loved dog of Taketora's grandfather, comes back in the form of a human (yet with dog ears and tail intact) to repay the kindness his master showed to him. However, Taketora's grandfather has passed away 20 years ago, so Shiba must show his appreciation to him. Clumsy yet energetic, and eager to help around the house, how can Taketora not find this puppy-boy cute?!

Fluff. Oh my God the fluff. But so sweet and so cute. Honestly I don't usually like so much fluff and the art was good but not out of this world, but it was a story about purpose and about loss and really hit the spot. It's a book where you just have to let go and take the ride with the characters. Not particularly deep but a damn good read.
Sheer rubbish. The art was ok, the premise of the story was just odd. The sub of the relationship seemed just too young and the other main character was boring. Did not finish.
Not my thing. Setting aside the dogboy aspect (which I don't know enough about to comment on), I thought a lot of the art was unimpressive and definitely not my style (ugh, hate those lips!), the story was weak, the main character beyond unbelievable/unlikeable/unrelate-able, the romantic relationship creepy (Shiba is just not mature enough) and out of nowhere (seriously)....yeah, didn't do it for me. Although I get and appreciate the rec in terms of some really cute doggish behaviors/attitude, I couldn't enjoy the book overall. Some interesting minor/side characters (although most annoyed me in some way), but Taketora himself was a total, deal-breaking turnoff for me.
Beautiful artwork and a few very funny scenes. The plot came into it pretty late and was very short, and at certain points I wasn't so sure the schmex scenes were completely by mutual consent; Shiba was very intent on pleasing Taketora no matter what ... sometimes I kind of felt the exchanges were done more on Shiba's side from the canine need to please his owner.
