A String of Pearls

Rate this book
This collection of poems is a combination of the old and the new-some from memories, my own or those handed down to me, others from dreams of what once was or could have been and a few new ones laced with a familiar line or two many may have forgotten they ever knew. If you were fortunate enough to grow up with a third or fourth generation family, you probably have heard a few of these parables or quotes before, if your family tree has southern roots that probability changes to an absolute. Words of wisdom, they are sometimes called...six of the best hang above my back door ...

"Live Well...Laugh Often...Love Much"

Not only is this advice conducive to one's well being...it is the well, from which loving memories spring... for cultivating your own "string of pearls".
