Excerpt from Reports of Cases Adjudged in the Court of Error and Appeal, Vol. 1
His Honour doth order and decree, that it be referred to the master of this court to take an account of what is due to the plaintifi's on the mortgage security in the plead. Ings mentioned, and to compute interest thereupon; and it is further ordered, that it be referred to the master to take an account of the present value of the improvements made by the defendants on such of the mortgaged lands as are in their possession, or as are claimed by the said defendants; and it is ordered, that it be referred to the master to set an occupation ground-rent on such of the mortgaged lands as are claimed by the said defeu dants during such time as the some have been beneficially occupied by them, or their tenants, since the execution of the said mortgage, and to calculate the amount thereof.
