Kael & Olivia were high school sweethearts who saw a future until rumors went around that they both cheated. Both devastated they ending there relationship and went separate ways until years later they meet up. I did like this story, the only thing that got me was that they didn’t recognize each other at first. Kael & Olivia can’t deny the pull that they have for each other and decide that nothing can tear them apart.

Get ready to read this book in one go and to have a good laugh in this latest book by Kara Hart. This is about second chances - in particular for Kael and Olivia who were high school sweethearts but were broken up by lies on both sides saying that the other was cheating. neither get over this and the next 12 years they don't see each other. Kael becomes a firefighter and has issues when someone he cared about die in a fire. Olivia has been travelling but she's back home now but determined not to become the town's crazy old cat lady now that she has just had her 30th birthday. Kael tries to block his demons through drink and lots of women with no meaningful relationship at all. Whilst on a date he is attracted to a beautiful young women and when passing her table he slips her his phone number even though he's on a date with someone else!!! What a rat! Unfortunately for him, the attractive young woman is Olivia and she is furious on behalf of his date and goes over and tells her precisely what he did then leaves. What I didn't understand was how they didn't recognise each other at all. It''s extremely rare for someone to change that dramatically. Anyway, Kara writes the story better than I can so I'll leave it up to you to read the rest. It is funny in many parts that's why I included the phone number debacle. I like her writing style as it flows easily and she grabs your attention right at the beginning and keeps you hooked till you get to the end. Along the way there are ups and downs like when they finally recognise each other! Oh boy, that is one scene that you're going to remember. This is really entertaining and well worth reading. hot and steamy scenes are through the story and let's hope that the HEA that we expect is just that. Happy! I look forward to Kara's next story. This a really good second chance love story about Olivia and Kael who were in love while in different high schools. Untruth rumors ended their young relationship. They both try to move on with broken hearts and grow up. Kael becomes a firefighter who has has some demons and is having trouble dealing with them. Olivia went to college and did some traveling afar. Many years later they meet not knowing who the other is! Kael is a man who takes what he wants and gives Olivia his number while on another date and then they see each other a couple nights later in a night club they kiss and it’s feels natural but things end before they really start. Kael makes the most of Olivia forgetting her phone and he talks Olivia into a date. They never give each other their names until after they have a passionate night but then it all goes wrong. Can Kael and Olivia move forward from the past or will they not fight for what’s in their hearts, one another! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Fire to be put off in a hotter way for a second chance
The High School Sweethearts Kael, a firefighter and Olivia meet after 12 years but fail to recognize as they parted their ways with misunderstanding over rumor that they are cheating each other. When they hook up first and find who they are, Kael is not ready to let her go when has no business with him. I liked this second chance romance, where both the lead characters go through emotional heartbreaks and frustration. Kara Hart has penned the book in a wonderful way giving an hot steamy second chance romance for this Christmas with Mr. Naughty. I wanted to give an 5star but the one thing that they both don't recognize each other after so long is kinda unreal, as no one can if they are truly in love with each other. Finally its a fiction and i'm giving it an 4star. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

A really good second chance love story for Kael and Olivia. High school sweethearts who both fell victim to believing cheating rumors that ultimately tore them apart. Fast forward to now, when they meet but don’t realize they actually know each other and have a history. Makes for a great story! And who doesn’t love a hot firefighter!!
The reason that I have four stars instead of five is that I didn’t care for how it started. The beginning didn’t do it for me and I actually almost stopped reading but I’m glad I didn’t because I did enjoy Kael and Olivia’s story. I just felt like the same thing about hating the other or being heartbroken by cheating was said too much in the first few chapters that seemed redundant. But it definitely got better as was worth the read!!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This was such a sweet and sometimes heart wrenching story of Olivia and Kael. Two high school sweethearts who because of wrong information they are told about the other breakup and do not talk or see one another for a little over 10 years. The chemistry is definitely still there and both realize that the years apart have made them scared to ever love again. This was a feel good story just in time for the holidays. The story line was great. I was so glad to see that they were finally able to put the past behind them and that they both believed that they were meant to meet again and get the HEA they always dreamed and talked about when they first fell in love.

Well written story with great storyline and plot. Absolutely not what I expected. I like that the characters are relatable and likeable. I like the main characters and how they develop. The story flows nicely and it is very captivating from first to last chapter.

I love the journey towards their HEA. There are passion, emotions, hot scenes, twists and lots of chemistry in this amazing story. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The epilogue is very welcomed and gives the story more to it and it finishes better of than without it. The story flows nicely and it is very captivating.

Kael and Olivia were high school sweethearts till they broke each others hearts...word had it that they each cheated on the other. Somehow they don't recognize each other...I guess after 14 years, that is possible...but most people would recognize their first love. All Kael talks about is how hot Olivia is. I never believed that they loved each other...it was artificial and all about sleeping together. There were inconsistencies in the book, a character would say one thing and then say the opposite later. Not a favorite Christmas romance read.

“Mr. Naughty” is a wonderful second chance romance. Once I started reading, I couldn't put this book down. Kael and Olivia were high school sweethearts who broke up due to rumored cheating. Years later they still haven't moved on. At first Kael and Olivia don't recognize each other but when they do it's not a happy reunion. There is so much heartache and anger over the misunderstanding that they cannot forgive. Can Kael and Olivia get past the hurt and find the love they once had? “Mr. Naughty” is frustrating, emotional, heartbreaking, steamy, and romantic. I definitely recommend this very dramatic second chance romance.

Over a decade later they meet again without recognizing each other at first. Sparks fly until after a hot encounter they realize they just spent a passionate night with the ex…

This novel is to equal parts hilarious, hot, heartbreaking and heart warming.
The conflicted emotions of both protagonists feel very authentic and believable.

A second chance romance. They were a couple in high school and were to young to understand not to listen to rumours instead of talking to each other. Now they meet as adults and the feelings are still there.
I enjoyed the story and the interactions between Kael and Olivia, as well as their best friends Sandra and Eric.
It makes you good to believe in second chances.

I absolutely adore Christmas stories, and this one did not fail to appeal. It's a really sweet story two people separated by misfortune and quid pro quos struggling to pick things up again having both changed since. Add in a hot fire fighter and you can't go wrong. Kael and Olivia has been high school sweethearts and it was the real thing. But one day it was over and they haven't talked for many years but neither of them has been able to move on. One night in a club they meets agin. But is it possible to forgive and forget even if it is the real thing ? Such a great book about true love never forgotten. It was so romantic and I loved every single minute of it

Kael is a firefighter and has been through something horrific. Now he's just chasing the bad dreams away with booze and women. But his path keeps coming across this one beautiful woman. But after the best sex of his life he decides to ask her name. Noway can't be his cheating ex.
Olivia is destined to not be the lonely cat lady and has decided to get out. She keeps seeing this handsome stranger and is so drawn to him. After one magical night it's all ruined when he says his name. She's just had sex with her cheating ex.
This was a really great book. I would love to have Sandra and Eric's book!
