In the Right Seat

Rate this book
What if it's not an accident? It's an assignment.

A seat selection can profoundly shape an experience, can’t it? Which is why most people have seating preferences. We care about where we sit.

But what about who we sit by?

Wherever you sit or stand, you have an opportunity to influence those around you. The question is, will you? And what will your influence be?

The premise of this book is that every “seat” offers an opportunity. The stories on these pages—curated from the author’s diverse experiences—are about the power of presence and the power of connection, and how both can be engaged to positively impact the people we encounter.

I finished the book about 10 minutes ago and I HAD to start recommending it.

I think most people live for the big moments. Drifting aimlessly from mountain top to mountaintop, treating the small moments like an airplane ride as forgettable and disposable.

We often lament that life is short. This mentality makes it even shorter.

In this book, Dean Curry shares 17 stories of encouragement that prove the worth of being present in the small moments. it will encourage you, stretch you, and cause to start praying for miracles in your plane rides and golf games.
