A remarkable work—part biography of Admiral Nelson, part history of the world, part jingoistic paean to England, all told in a series of ten-page-long run-on sentences.
Unfortunately the copy of this that I got was very poor. What few bits of the actual poem that were clear were good, but they were few and far between long strands of what looked like gobbledygook. Out 1600 stanzas, there were less than 100 that were legible. Most of the lines were jumbled symbols and numbers. If I can find a clear reprint I will try again.
