God always uses Anne Ortlund’s books, even this quirky one, to speak to me, realign my heart, and exhort + encourage me to prioritize Him above all else. Anne is a beautiful discipler and I can’t wait to meet her one day in eternity.

Anne Ortlund has written this story well. She has weaved in fiction & non-fiction well. It's a light read with a lot of important truths to ponder over and work into your life. ACTS- Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication- she shows how it must be a part of every Christian's life. It is a story about revival and renewal. A Christian's life must be continually renewing. In this story, Joanna is a lady who was a namesake Christian who underwent a revival in the midst of a marriage crisis. Anne has beautifully portrayed the love of the church family & the power of the Gospel in people's lives.
