Позната е като Мартѝн в родната си Белгия и Франция. В португалия я наричат Анита, в Швеция та е Мими, Тини в Индонезия, Кристина в Италия, Мартинка в Полша, Мая в Хърватия, Деби в САЩ... А в България? Запознайте се с Марти!
Поредицата за Марти представя приключенията на едно малко момиченце, нейното семейство и приятели, но историите на книжките до една са базирани в скромния и спокоен провинциален живот. В основата на почти безконфликтните сюжети са простички ситуации, с които много деца са се сблъсквали, а добрия финал идва с послания за правилни постъпки, сърдечни взаимоотношения и непреходни ценности.

I start every New Year reading children's books, not only to remember my own childhood, but mostly because I miss my Granddaughters an love reading out to them.

Every year I start by reading children's book, remembering the happiness I felt when I read my Children stories, and now missing my two Granddaughters... Martine's stories are wonderful, as they help build, in the reader, a whole universe of beauty and harmony, creating a very special atmosphere.
I totally recommend these children's books to establish peace and beauty in one's mind, in the midst of these times of trouble!
