I am a Christian that read John Benton as an impressionable teen. Even though I didn't want to heed adult's advice, these books were a huge deterent to my stubborn and often destuctive ways. I can honestly say, these books saved me from going down the wrong path; although, I would NOT recommend them to shelted or gullible youth, I will give him 5 stars because I grew to love reading because of this author and often reread his books. Through this site I have learned of other titles, but I doubt I will be able to read them due to content but then again, I may.

The one I remember the most… But also remembered my foster mom telling me I will end up on the streets like these girls if I keep reading about them… :/
