Poetry. "Get ready to enter THE TRANSFER TREE, an aching fairy-tale world, and meet the paralegal researcher, poet, angels, shamanic tree, radiant fields, sun, moon, and rocks dizzyingly spinning, dislocating, collapsing again and again within their own exploding bodies. Why? Because '[t]he world will never be okay.'" Don Mee Choi"
Such a delightful book of poems - I enjoyed Karena's use of surprising syntax and enjambment. It was an unexpected joy to explore her world of words and images.
Interesting punctuation choices is about the nicest thing I can say about this book. Maybe I just don't get it, or maybe there's really nothing to get. Either way I really did not enjoy The Transfer Tree.
