In 25 Signs We Are Near the End, Don Stewart examines what the Bible has to say about "coming events." In an easy-to-understand manner, Don lays out what the Scripture says will take place at the "time of the end." The evidence will clearly show that there is indeed a God who exists, who knows the future, and who is in control of the future. The signs will include the following... The Miracle of Israel's survival Preparations being made to build the third temple The stage being set for the Ezekiel 38, 39 invasion The United States missing from Bible prophecy Believers will understand the signs of the last days
Pros: The signs laid out in this book were thoroughly researched. The author took the time to find other writers who shared similar views and shared quotes from their works. The Bible research was extensive and accurate. I particularly focused on the presented Bible passages rather than on the quotes from other theologians and scholars.
Cons: This book reads like a college thesis, and I don’t mean that in a flattering way. It could have been reduced to half the length and still had the same impact. Things were repeated, and the writing was not well-edited.
Overall, I read the book for its content, and I think it delivered.
I really liked the book because of the evidence and scripture that was quoted throughout the entire book. There were portions that were heavily worded and deep that I had to re-read a few times, but after that I understood what the author was conveying. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in reading about the "end times."
Good information. But, a once over by a proofreader would help to refine this book. There are just some typos that a spell check would miss, like the word gave should really be have... An sometimes it seems like some words were missing from a sentence. Just needs to be cleaned up a tad to be more clear. But content and quotes and explanations were great.
Loved it. I have heard this was a great read for preparing for End Times. Yes, yes. Don really brought my focus in things to be aware of and not to be caught unaware.
