Faith Gibson's love of books started early on. So much so that she decided to write her own stories. When a college professor told her she had a gift, she took him at his word and put pen to paper (because back then, there were no computers. Shh, we don't mention her age.)

Her love of all things paranormal mixed with crazy dreams led to her first series, The Stone Society, about Gargoyle shifters in search of their mates while protecting humanity from unhinged beasts known as The Unholy. The Hounds of Zeus MC series was born from one of their own being a mate of a Gargoyle. The Rebel Moon Shifters are the next generation, all the kids from the first two series.

Faith also abbles in MM worlds and contemporary suspense, but her first and forever love is fantasy.

When Faith isn’t hard at work on her next story, she can be found reading, cooking, playing in the dirt (planting stuff) or playing with her staffy pup, all while listening to hard rock music.

Dane (Stone Society, #10.5) by Faith Gibson is a special treat giving us a truly entertaining story about Dane and his mate. Dane is the chief of police and a half blood. He has been in most of the previous books and we know quite a bit about him. Now we get to learn more about him and his feelings on finding out who he truly is and what he is. We also get to learn more about him and his mate Marley. She is the waitress at the place he goes to every morning. In previous books he was moving really slow with thier relationship but in this book we see it flourish. I did not expect this book and story but was pleasantly surprised. I loved it. The story was interesting. I always love catching up on the other characters as well learning more about the Stone Society. I can't wait for the next book regardless to is up next. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. I give it 5 stars.

I’m in love with the Stone Society

I really enjoy the ongoing stories of each one finding their mates... the tragedy that befalls each mate is a common thread in each book.. Now that is said I wish someone or Faith herself had a huge timeline.... because some of the things she puts into each book have already taken place in other books and it gets frustrating as a reader.... just sayin🤷‍♀️ Also when Dane & Marley name their baby in the epilogue I’m wondering where the name came from?? As there was NO mention anywhere of her sisters name other than Lynette....Soooo? And the cover picture with a face... Why??? The bodies were spectacular and now there is a face that in no way matches your description of Dane in the books...he really doesn’t match my pictured character and it kinda ruins the flow...I know Jasper’s book has Caylan on it, however that works because he is the epitome of that character and your description of him( and I know Caylan so that was a win-win)😊And Jonas’ book... but again it is totally representative of your description. It is hard to match that with covers and I feel for you as an author wanting to give more... but that is your image and probably not your readers... give us credit to have an imagination and not shove one down our throats....
Again I love these books and they are constant re reads for me... I can’t wait for Tamian’s book..(I’m just hoping no face on the cover🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😉)

Dane Abbott is the Police Chief in New Atlanta and he is a half blood. Dane has met his mate, Marley Sperry who is “everyone’s favorite” waitress. I will let you read the story yourself. This is an entertaining novella.

I was so excited that a new Stone Society Series book came out so soon after the last one in November. There is a reading order for these Gargoyles! And, if you haven’t read them now is the time. Even people that normally don’t like Shapeshifter series have enjoyed this one. And, I can’t say enough about them.
If you haven’t already discovered these Gargoyles and I highly recommend this series. Now is the time to buy.
Here is the reading order for the Stone Society!

#1 Rafael
#2 Dante
#3 Nikolas
#4 Jasper
#5 Gregor#6 Sixx
#7 Frey
#8 Sin
#9 Julian
#10 Urijah
#10.5 Dane
#11 Tamian

In my opinion The Stone Society series is a MUST READ! I love each and every one of these books. So much so that even though I have received an ARC for them. I have also bought each and every one of these books!

Dane Abbott will do anything to keep his mate Marley safe, even putting off claiming her. Yet with the Unholy causing trouble, he might not have a choice.

This is the first book I've read from this author, and I definitely think I would have enjoyed the story much more had I read the others in this series first. A lot of details about characters seemed to be missing, but all of that might have been covered in previous books. It's a fast-paced plot with plenty of romance and sizzle and a little action thrown in. What intrigued me the most was the fact the heroes were gargoyles and the whole grand struggle of good and evil in this world. While this was a novella, I could there is great world building behind this series.

I'm adding the Stone Society to my TBR list where I will start at the beginning to savor it as a whole.

Wonderful novella

This novella was well q written and another beautifully written Stone Society story. I was wondering about Dane as I continued reading these books. His story, while fairly short, quite have me more insight into the many layers of this man/Gargpoyle. Marley, his mate, is a strong and funny e woman who knows exactly who and what she wants in her life. She has a regret from her younger days, but Dane helps her through it and the life she wanted was even more than she had hoped for. This entire series gives us such great characters and tons of love, friendship and kindness for others. We could probably all learn something, believe it or not, just from reading this series and trying to absorb even a little of what this amazing author writes.

Good read

This was a fairly uncomplicated and fun story. It is a novella, and can be read as a stand alone; but i really advise reading the series in order because there was a lot of talk about things from past books that weren't elaborated on in this book, and sometimes it didn't make much sense. However, it wasn't bad enough that i couldn't enjoy the story as is.
Sometimes it's nice to read a romance book where the main characters have no external and/or internal forces working against them. They both know what they want, there's no second guessing themselves, they fall in love and that's that. Although there was a small hiccup, Dane and Marley's love story was exactly this. It was a nice change of pace.

Faith Does It Again

I'm such a huge fan of the Stone Society Series by Faith Gibson. All of her characters are engaging, strong, sexy, and bound to family in the most wonderful of ways. The way Faith deals with adoption and love and finding ones place, home, and center in this Novella is beautiful and touching. I fell in love even more with Dane, but also with the authors words. You can read this book as a standalone but do yourself a favor and delve into the entire series. Kudos to Ms. Gibson for another engaging read.

Okay, where do I get a Goyle? The story is a fast one and still complete. Characters are fully developed and Ms. Gibson gives enough backstory so first time readers understand what's going on. Although for me, now I have several new books to add to my TBR stack to catch up. Personally there is one character I would like to see taken out to the wood shed for a word of prayer! Absolutely loved this story.

I was so happy to see Dane and Marley get their story.
If you haven't started this series and you like Gargoyle shifters. Do yourself a favor and start this one.
It's worth it. Even though these books are standalone I recommend reading them in order because of the time line.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy of this book.

Dane is A Stone Society Novella (I would say book 10.5) and is a perfect short story to finally tell Dane and Marley's story. We have seen them interact and get to know each other with bits and pieces here and there through out the series and this short story was a great way to give us their full story at becoming mates. This series is a MUST read.

Filled with love and family

This book may be shorter than the others in this series but it still packs the same punch. It is filled with love and family. The Unholy make their presence known but the Goyles are there to protect the human population.
Someone gets hurt, like has happened with all of the matings, but love heals.

Loved it.

Ok yes I’ll admit it I’ve always had a soft spot for Dane (the handcuffs might have been a mitigating factor as well ;)). So seeing his story and reading his HEA was awesome. Now who is next? I can’t wait for more in The Stone Society series.

I really love the Stone Society and I’m glad Dane finally got his book. Dane is the police chief of Atlanta and a half-blood gargoyle. I just love him and Marley together, they are mates which is why Dane’s repressed shifter genes activate. He helps Marley get over her past. But with three Greeks running amok in New Atlanta and a rising of the unholy can Dane really protect Marley?

Another amazing read!!

I don't know how I have missed reading this one. Dane and Marley are perfect together. They didn't have the struggle the other mates had to end up together but their was some chaos to it all. I really enjoyed Dane and Marley. Perfect story for a perfect couple.

Alistair's dregs keep trying

Dane is ready to tell Mandy all and offer the bond. She has some secrets for him too. After a battle with the Unholy puts her in the hospital, Dane and the family prepare a surprise. And a sweet ending.
