Her work as an actress is more famous to the general public but her work as an inventor should be more well-known by the public. I also admired her determination to help the war effort in her adopted country. She was quite a remarkable woman.

I had already known about Hedy’s inventive side from my curiosity about technology, so this book was an interesting read about the beautiful actress’s intelligent, innovative side.

A solid introductory biography of Hedy Lamarr, regarding her night job as an inventor. It was interesting and I would recommend it to anyone for a leisure read or for a project/assignment.

Lightly touches on many things, but I think everything is explained simply and lightly enough that it should be fine for kids, especially if they are interested in science.
